Using a tablet frustrates me. my line work is awful compared to what I do with pencil or pen and it deters me from practicing with it.
Thanks! Lineart is one of the hardest things to do with a tablet for me. Nowadays I just work with coloring directly, sort of like oil painting. Begin with large shapes and then polish, you know?

this may sound like hippie bullshit but if you stop and think about it for a moment it really is kind of fucked up in a way
like we are just one species out of billions that have evolved to such perfection that we're ruling this world
we're basically only capable of stuff when we're cooperating though, like ants or bees. put a single human down in the middle of nowhere and they're fucked
it's kind of funny and sad at the same time to me, but I wouldn't go back to the stone age because of it. we'd just end up in the same place again after a while, and faster than the first time unless we somehow lost all memories as well. even then there would be artifacts that we could learn from.
