To accommodate for time zones, it'll start in about eight hours. Los Angeles (U.S.A. - California) Friday 10 October 2014, 12:00:00 PDT UTC-7 hours Mexico City (Mexico - Federal District) Friday 10 October 2014, 14:00:00 CDT UTC-5 hours New York (U.S.A. - New York) Friday 10 October 2014, 15:00:00 EDT UTC-4 hours London (United Kingdom - England) Friday 10 October 2014, 20:00:00 BST UTC+1 hour Stockholm (Sweden) Friday 10 October 2014, 21:00:00 CEST UTC+2 hours
Corresponding UTC (GMT) Friday 10 October 2014, 19:00:00 Team Fortress 2 was the most popular choice, so we'll play that, and possibly other games afterwards. Garry's Mod was a close second, so if anyone wants to stick around, we could probably play that as well. We don't have any dedicated servers, so we'll either have to find an empty server or have someone host the game on their PC. It's basically connection vs. privacy, as hosting locally would cause lag for the people who are further away. It would also help if everyone who wants to participate posted their Steam names here. I'm True Velox on Steam.

Magnus Niska from Sweden is the first person in the world who has been implanted with a prosthetic robotic arm. Up until now, all prosthetics has been removable and has had electrodes on the surface of the skin, causing operating difficulties in hot or cold environments. This is the first implanted arm with electrodes integrated directly into the muscles. They are currently testing tactile feedback with the arm, meaning that Niska will eventually be able to feel sensory input through the arm. Magnus Niska is has grown used to the prosthetic and views it as a part of his body, instead of just an accessory. Normal prosthetics need to be strapped to the body and is harder to control accurately, as the nerve signals sometimes have difficulties to go through. This is undoubtedly a big step for robotic prosthetics.

We have sort of decided on what game to play, with TF2 and Gmod leading: http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=6504.0We could of course play several games on the same occasion. Now, which one of the coming days would work best to have the gamenight on?

So since we have a few decent games to choose from now, from the nominations in this thread: http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=6349.0, we can now vote for which games we would like to play. I've set the amounts of votes per person to three instead of one, so just pick your top three choices.

I was thinking a multiplayer game that is free, so that we're not hindered by people not owning it.
Examples include, but are not limited to, Quake Live, Loadout, and Magicka: Wizard Wars.
We could of course also do a game that isn't free, if enough people have it. Like Gmod, for example.
Update: Suggest a game and I'll add it below. We can then have a vote on which game to play.
Free games are marked green.
-Quake Live -Gmod -Team Fortress 2 -GTA IV -Minecraft -Company of Heroes 2 -Chivalry: Medieval Warfare -Planetside 2 -World of Tanks -DayZ -Left 4 Dead 2

It's clear that the leader of the Social Democrat party, Stefan Löfven, will be the next prime minister. However, for a government to be formed, their state budget must be voted trough by the parliament.
The Social Democrats are currently working together with the Environment Party, which was clear already before the election, where they had plans to form a government together in case they got enough votes in the election.
The thing is, they didn't.
As such, they need to work together with additional parties if they want to avoid having a re-election, which probably would only work in the favor if the nationalist Sweden Democrat party. And no other party wants that.
Normally, it would be natural for them to work together with the Leftist Party. However, that wouldn't be enough for their budget to pass.
As such, they are trying to form an alliance with the Center Party and the Liberal Party, the two of the right-wing parties that's furthest to the middle/left political field.
Unfortunately, these two parties would refuse to sit in the same government as the Leftist Party.
And so, the Social Democrats have ditched the Leftist Party in hopes of gaining an alliance with the Centers and Liberals. As far as I know, they still haven't reached an agreement.
The Swedish political landscape is shaky right now, to say the least.

There're a lot of times when I'm having sex with someone over the internet and I just feel like it would be so much easier if I could suck. But on the other hand, when you're having sex orally you don't have as much time to form your responses and you can't go back to check if you did something completely autistic. I really can't tell what I'd be better at personally.

For example, being against the use of marijuana, but not opposing it to be legal, since it doesn't affect you?
Or wanting a certain form of society, but realizing that since it's not likely to happen or that it wouldn't work well because of human nature, settling for something different?

What is your stance on people who loot dumpsters for items that has been thrown away, but is still usable? For example, dumpsters outside of food stores that contain food items that either has or soon will expire, or has been thrown away for other reasons.

I went to the job center for a interview on what I'm currently doing. Since I'm now studying part-time I can't be valid for the "Job Guarantee for Youths" program (where you can get economic assistance, among other things), but I told them that I'm fine with that but that I will continually search for jobs anyway.
Then I went to the local GameStop and purchased an Xbox One controller for my PC. I've downloaded the driver and tested it in Steam's Big Picture mode, and it seems to work fine. I really like the controller itself, too.
I also finally got my virtual Linux machine to work, which means I'm ready for further school assignments (I'm studying "Linux and Small Networks")
When I was outside it was also the furthest that I've walked since my surgery. I really feel a lot better now.

There's been talk about having a section of the site where we can submit written articles, like game and movie reviews, walkthroughs, and such.
What if we could start an official Sep7agon YouTube channel? It wouldn't be huge, and the main purpose wouldn't be to get popular on YouTube, but to use it to post the videos on here.
People work differently when it comes to creativity and voicing their opinions. Sure, a video requires much more work to be good, as it's not just about the content, but how it's presented. Recording, cutting, editing, takes more time than writing a text and clicking save. So this idea might be a bit unfeasable.
But I think it's worth noting, and considering.

There's an election, or rather, three elections, going on. There's the election for the parliament, one for each county, and one for each municipality.
I believe the voting has just finished, so now the votes are being counted.
These elections are held every four years, so this is my first time voting in it. I also voted in the EU election earlier this year.
