There's no such thing as "assault weapons" though and that gun is no different from a ranch rifle. Only difference is the looks and as a gun owner, looks mean jack shit on how the gun performs. Each fire the same caliber, which actually causes damage

Missouri Democrats have introduced a measure that if passed into law, would give owners of certain types of "assault" weapons 90 days to either turn them in to authorities, disable them or ship them out of the state, Jim Hoft reported at the Gateway Pundit Thursday.

According to House Bill 545, "assault" rifles are defined as any semi-automatic rifle with a detachable magazine that has one or more of the following characteristics:

a. A pistol grip or thumbhole stock;

b. Any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the nontrigger hand;

c. A folding or telescoping stock; or

d. A shroud attached to the barrel, or that partially or completely encircles the barrel, allowing the bearer to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned, but excluding a slide that encloses the barrel.

The law also applies to certain semi-automatic pistols and semi-automatic shotguns with similar characteristics.

Democrats in the state also want to confiscate pistols or rifles with fixed magazines that can hold more than ten rounds of ammunition.

AR-15s and every other non-Class 3 weapon is semi-automatic. Don't give shit that it's "military-grade". the AR-15 was produced BEFORE a military version of the platform was ever made
