IMPORTANT: INCOMING KINDER RESPONSE. YOU ARE WARNED
1. Repeal ObamaCare and replace with a more sensible system. Those that can or want to purchase private insurance will be able to do so without the say of the government. Those that are under the federal poverty line or are homeless will be allowed a free government insurance plan and will be able to attend government-funded and staffed facilities; this will also fall into place for certain lower-class people/families and for the rest, can purchase a low insurance plan and will attend the same government facilities
2. End the federal ban on marijuana and release all convicted person's in prison who were charged for marijuana only. Persons that were convicted with marijuana charges on top of other charges will receive a reduced sentence with the pardoning of the marijuana charge. States are still able to pass laws on what they want to do
3. Reform the military by adjusting our size and spending for that of a military not currently at war but strong enough to keep national defense at high and able to react to any threats accordingly. With this, regulations forbidding women from combat roles and trans persons from serving will be dealt away with, along with keeping the military a pure secular organization but accommodating person's with religious principles
4. Tax system/code for business will be greatly tuned to the basic principal that if you do business in America then you pay a tax, no if's and's or but's. Lower taxes will come in the form of hiring American workers and manufacturing goods in America. Corporate tax rate will also be lowered from the North American average of 33% to one based on the European average of 19%
5. Steps will be taken to lower the national debt in order to switch back to a money system with an actual backing, such as gold. This includes reducing the military budget as described earlier (along with shutting down bases outside of the country and stop production on large amounts of military vehicles), enforcing tighter welfare laws, removing certain departments/duties from the federal government such as DoT and maintaining national parks (states will be given these responsibilities)
6. The national standardization of education, such as CommonCore, will be halted as it impedes on the educational level of future generations. These programs will require schools who have advance and standards to downgrade to meet national regulations, they also eliminate local communities to suggest educational practices to better improve students. It also takes away what teachers do: Teach and instead gives them a packet which they are forced to xerox and leave a blanks so students can fill out; that's not education, it's telling students you just need to remember this for a few months then you can forget about it
7. George Washington warned Americans about the dangers of being involved with European affairs and he was right. Ever since the end of WWII America has been performing a policy of global imperialism and getting involved with foreign affairs which has led to plenty of unnecessary wars, deaths, and increased debt. Our intervention of the world, especially the middle-East, has been the spark to create radical organizations such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS. America will take a step back and leave organizations like the U.N which contradict the idea of isolationism
8. A huge part of American culture is gun ownership and there's nothing wrong with a responsible citizens from owning sporting weapons like AR-15s, AKM's, 30-round magazines, etc. The issue at hand are the criminals who will continue to commit crime no matter what legislation is passed. The ATF came to a conclusion that nothing changed when the Assault Weapons ban was put in place and it essentially just restricted law-abiding citizens from being able to express their right. Instead, more sensible policies will be put in place to stop school shootings. A big part will be the introduction of armed security very similar to that of air marshals, who are undercover. It will be made public that at least 2 persons in each school will be armed but only the school board and essential school staff will know the identities of these people. These people can either be teachers, veterans, retired cops, or private security. NRA-approved courses, along with attending courses at a law enforcement center will be offered so these people can qualify to carry a gun undercover into the school
9. On the topic of guns, all states that restrict or forbid concealed carry of weapons will be federally reversed, so long as the person carrying has a CCW. Article IV, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, known as the "Full Faith and Credit Clause", addresses the duties that states within the United States have to respect the "public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state." This means that a CCW permit in one state will be recognized in all states
10. Free Taco Day (joking about this one)
