I'm split on this. One one hand you obviously have corporations bribing officials. On the other hand donating to your candidate can be viewed as an expression of your 1st Amendment and restricting that would be restricting the 1st Amendment. Really interested to see where this goes. Although seeing as how politicians, especially Senators, are wealthy individuals they have friends and connections who do donate large amounts to campaign funds.

Here's a list of the top 50 richest Senators, with the top 10 consisting of 7 Democrats (tells you a lot with just that)

The first amendment applies to people.

Corporations and  Super PACs are not people
Actually, corporations are people. Defined by legal standards of course and can express Constitutional rights
That's the problem - corporations shouldn't be legally defined as people. Corporations are made up of people, but it shouldn't have the constitutional rights of a person, itself.
And I have to disagree. Not giving corporations equal Constitutional protection means the government can go in and take phone records from Verizon and information from Google. It also means corporations can't fully express themselves as they are not protected by the 1st Amendment
And there's a problem with that?
Uhhhhh, hell yeah there is. What part of the government taking phone records of Verizon customers don't you understand? Might as well set fire to the Constitution and let an authoritarian government exist
>implying they don't already do that
They do, but they're following the Constitution and law by presenting reasonable suspicion to a judge and then obtaining a warrant for specific records for specific individuals

Umm. . . What?

The information the government would be "allowed" to take still belongs to a person with rights. A multitude of them, in fact.
Then why doesn't the government get search warrants for the individuals who the records belong to?

You should not talk about the Constitution when you openly defend police officers completely disregarding it.
Except I don't. I only defend police officers that have done nothing wrong from the public who likes to generalize all cops as bad

Are there seriously only twenty levels?...

I got to level eight in the beta in like two days.
http://thedestinyblog.com/2014/07/31/heres-what-a-level-29-titan-can-do-in-destiny/
You can go past level 20
That looks really stupid. According to the people in the comments, 20 is the max level, and then you have to equip items in order to level up past that. That is fucking stupid.
Meh, I don't know too much about the leveling but I just play to play so not really that big of a deal to me. Plus you have 3 classes to play and level up so you're technically have 60 levels to rank up. But whatever I guess

I have not even heard of ISIL... Are these groups just taking advantage of the chaos and appearing out of nowhere to claim stuff?
They've been around since the U.S invasion of Iraq and went under ISIS and were allies with Al-Qaeda. Recently Al-Qaeda broke ties with ISIS because they were too extreme for A.Q, as they literally kill everybody including Sunnis, Shites, Kurds, and everybody else who gets in their way. It's been fighting heavily in both Iraq and Syria and have conquered large parts of each country, where they have now changed their name to ISIL and declared themselves as a Caliphate around late June

A.....are you fucking kidding me right now?! This is what I only read

Quote
House and Senate leadership have a similar reaction when it comes to the increasingly serious threat from ISIL in the Middle East: We’re not getting involved.

Top House Republican and Senate Democratic leadership have next to no interest in passing any sort of legislation to deal with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) threat in Iraq and Syria, according to aides. The top lawmakers believe President Barack Obama has enough authority as commander in chief to launch strikes without congressional action — at least for a short period of time.

And neither Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nor Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) think Congress has any role – unless Obama asks them directly to take a proposal up.

Unites States Constitution
Article 1
Section 8

"The Congress shall have power to...... provide for the common defense.....of the United States

To declare war"

Congress, and Congress only, has the power to declare war/conflict/what ever you wanna call it. Point is they have the authority to start attacks and the president's role is to oversee the attacks. Congress does have a goddamn fucking role in this. These politicians can be doused in gas, set alive, and pushed down the Grand Canyon

14 years? Give the cunt 25.
It's all based on the count of felony

Attempted murder is classified as a class 2 felony (1 being the worst type of crime) and because the crime was committed with a deadly weapon, the minimum is 7 years with the maximum of 21. 25 years would be out of the ball park, unless if it somehow was a class 1 felony

Local GameStop had a great launch. They hired a gaming bus and had Halo 3 playing the entire night. Employees were just chilling and having a good time with all the customers and a cop walked and we was really excited and joined in for a while. They passed out some posters, free downloadable games like Borderlands 2, had some snacks, just was a really fun time

I should go to Gamestop tonight and hand out marijuana brownies to everyone waiting in line.
Hue

somebody REEKED of pot as we were waiting in line. There was a cop up at GameStop earlier paying off his copy and he, two others, and I were just talking about the game and few others but guess he was called in early because he never made it, which is good because he would have busted whoever it was, especially being a K9 officer lol

It's absolutely beautiful, stunning, and a well crafted product

The Ghost itself surpassed my expectations. It has a decent amount of weight (around a pound and some change), Nicely designed, solid construction, and works great as a small flash light

The Arms and Armament book thingy is either made of leather, or a leather-type material and somewhat reminiscent of a leather bound book somebody would keep around the 18th-19th century for documentation and such. Inside you're greeted to the left with an array of all sorts of goodies, including an introduction letter made of papaer similar to what you would use to print photos and has designs with a texture to them. Next comes four post cards with a 1950's/1960's style and they are all have excellent graphic design, along with having a thick feel and can very possible be used to send an actual postcard to somebody. Finally for the goodies is the star map; it's a sort of rubbery material and the closest example would be the SPARTAN schematic from Halo 4. It's a bit smaller than what I was expecting but I'm over all satisfied with this map, and like the postcards before, has quality design to it and it's like somebody actually took the time to chart it out. Now for the best part: The book itself. The leather book acts as a sort of cover for the Arms and Armament thingy with it sliding in and out of the cover. The paper used is, my guess, the same paper used in the introduction letter and the book is filled with computer-generated images alongside hand drawn style images, with scribbling throughout

Under this book thing comes the content exclusive to the Ghost Edition. Inside a manila-style envelope (sealed with a Destiny logo sticker) you are given a triangular patch with the wording "Ares 1" on top and wording of "ERIT FORTIS" on the bottom, along with a depiction of a rocket  leaving an orange planet into space. Next is a very cool polaroid  picture of the first-ever selfie on Mars by the astronaut(s) who first discover the Traveler. Now comes these two negatives (I'm guessing" of the Traveler making it's arrival, all printed on a quality and thick type of material. Lastly comes a nice little sticker with Russian writing similar to the Roman alphabet of PObA, which can probably be palced on abinder or even used as a bumper sticker

Lastly, the steel book case which we've all seen before and of course the codes to download exclusive content. Under the game is a USB cable to charge your Ghost

Overall I'm VERY satisfied with this product and while $150 may seem eh for some, I'm perfectly fine with spending it to get a very nice and quality product

I think if I lived there I'd drown in my own sweat.

English summers are bad enough as it is.
Try living with a Virginia summer. 93F and around 83%-90something% humidity nearly every. Single. Fucking. Day. At least with California summers, you just have the heat and hardly any humidity. I'd have that over what we have here any day

Just imagine being stuck in a muggy, stuffy bathroom after a super hot shower for the whole day and clothes on. That's what it's like here
