Serious / Re: Math Question
« on: October 02, 2014, 06:22:22 PM »
Math is probably the most pointless subject I've ever learned about, closely behind chemistry
You mean to say it's pointless for your career, right?
Well I did say "I've", meaning it was pertaining to me. Somebody else may like it but it's not my cup of tea. If I were to ever become a narcs. investigator then it would be useful

And? I think it's something that needs to be brought back. Students are not getting disciplined at home which leads them to become disrespectful and a issue at school. A few smacks will teach them not ti frack around anymore
I thought you went to a diverse school? Yeah no way getting hit by a teacher would fly for some kids or parents, they certainly wouldn't want to do it to me.
I did, which is why I think it's needed. And of course parents would complain because they live in a stupid fantasy world where their failing child associated with street gangs and drugs are perfect little angels that won't do anything wrong

The Flood / Re: Got pulled over by a cop tonight
« on: October 02, 2014, 03:35:06 PM »
While I think law enforcement is generally great, I don't like the broadness of "reasonable suspicion" to allow police officers to stop and search me.

It really puts it down the the officer, and while I'm sure there are countless good ones upholding the law, there are bound to be biased assholes who will stop certain looking people and can then pull the "reasonable suspicion" card out like it was going out of style.

In the UK which is apparently a better law enforcement group than the US, still S&S's black people 3 times as many white people S&S'd, and in certain areas of London it was 26 times more likely. Granted, that could be because of the demographics and history of said area, but I don't believe it would make it that more likely. That alone makes me wary, even as a white person.
Probable cause is put down to the officer also. Reasonable suspicion is it sounds like: A suspicion that is reasonable. This includes running from cops, a person stalking around and looking in cars with tools, passing off baggies, drinking an unidentifiable substance in a paper bag, and other things. That all falls under reasonable suspicion. It's reasonable to think a person is trying to breaki into cars by stalking around with tools. It's reasonable to think a person is drinking alcohol in public when it's being consumed from a brown paper bag

The Flood / Re: >Feminists complaining about male violence
« on: October 02, 2014, 02:41:24 PM »
I hate when feminazis in first world countries complain about oppression and inequality. They should be happy they didn't grow up in a third world country only then would they know the true meaning of oppression.
While I agree with the feminist part of that, that whole train of logic is dumb. Just because people have it worse in other countries, doesn't make your real problems invalid. That's like telling MLK "have you ever been to west Africa? You don't know the true meaning of oppression."
Because there wasn't any laws against blacks back in the 20th century, right? There's no laws against women; women can do exactly the same thing what men do. Instead of advocating for equality like MLK, they're going the Black Panther route and trying to make themselves to be out on top and discriminate against men

Cook Out is the best fast food chain in NC.

The best burger joint though is El's Drive-in in Morehead City. The shrimp burger there is great.
Oh shit, they're already in NC?! I just thought they had a few locations here in VA. They're actually really good, especially for the price and food you get.

Oh, they're also basically CFA. Look on the cup and you'll see a bible verse printed on it

Serious / Re: Why is Islamophobia a thing?
« on: October 02, 2014, 09:10:53 AM »
It's the distinction where people associate Muslims with Islam. Kinda like the term African-American where it's a implication that all people from Africa are black but it's not the case since South Africa is a large white African nation
Seeing how Muslims are followers of Islam, your post makes no sense.
My mistake. Just woke up and I don't make much sense during the mornings
