My ancestors got rid of widespread slavery 2,500 years ago, not to mention the slaves were more like servants who were treated humanely and were not picked for their skin color, and freeing slaves was regarded as one of the best things you could do. America got rid of it some centuries ago and still has people who think slavery was good.
I'm just not getting into it with Cam who's basically a broken record, Kinder who calls anybody who disagrees with him a Communist and "libtard", and any other inbred southern trash who wants to "discuss" this.
You can tell people the truth all you like, it's up to them to accept it. And when they don't want to and don't have an open mind, it's a colossal waste of time. I have far better things to do.
Hmm, I don't particularly wish to be drawn into this but I will say that I agree with you. Slavery is utterly wrong, and I would laugh in the face of anyone who tries to justify it.
I can't say I know enough about the causes of the US civil war to say who was explicitly in the right but the thing that stands out to me the most is that the North was freeing slaves and the south wanted to keep them. From an outside moral point of view, I'd side with the Union over it. If people want to nitpick and shoot over the things they deem to be the true cause of the war then that's the prerogative but yes, those who were freeing slaves and those who were keeping them... it's really not hard to see who is in the wrong.

Many people think abolishing slavery was a good thing instead of letting it die off naturally. It's untrue, and it's why many blacks fought for the South. Most slaves were actually treated well, given shelter and share of the crops and were able to raise families. After the civil war the hatred made it rare for them to find jobs or live comfortably. Not to mention you're all still slaves because of the income tax. You're participating in a rigged game.
Will have to disagree with you here a bit Slaves were treated well, but because they were the equivalent of a car. You wouldn't let your car go unattended, right? Same concept. I worked at a car dealership for a few months
Buy a used car. I suggest after finding a car you like, research the trade-in values and come up with a good estimate. Dealerships will not over pay the trade-in value but will jack up the resale price, as that's where they make their money from and it will be easier to lower the price rather than a new car.
Funny enough though, the car I bought when working at the dealership was an 08 Focus. They were asking like $10k but with employee discounts, got it for like $8,500
