Yes. Anarchy and a period without a government is far better than our current system.

#sarcasm
So when the government was shutdown, people were roaming the streets yelling anarchy and making the LA riots look like a walk in the part, huh? State and local governments would still be fully operational

Why would we.

Government tyranny out of control.
but it isnt

Plenty would argue it is.

A few backwoods, inbred secessionist retards and their mother's neckbeards don't count as "plenty" out of the millions of Americans.
Fucking what?

If you actually support the government mass collecting personal data without probable cause or a warrant or if you support the idea the government can detain a person indefinitely through the NDAA then fucking leave this country. Same shit we fought the British over and it will be the same thing we fight over again

I don't, actually, so don't put your words into my mouth.  But you and Camnator are thinking about running around like little Cliven Bundies wanting to spill blood, which--given today's military tech compared to the Revolutionary War's--would be a fucking DISASTER.  You'd end up blowing at least half the country apart just because you live under an imaginary threat of the NDAA (show me where a person's been detained indefinitely please?).  Also the NDAA has been around way before Obama.

But if you guys feel like charging with your homemade explosives and store-bought guns against the might of the military, have fun with the drone bombs crashing on your heads.

(And just for your information, I'm not against the idea of a revolution, I'm just against the idea of a bloody one.  Just look at the fucking TEA Party before the Republicans hijacked it and took over.)

Seeing as how you've had no mention that what the government is doing is wrong, alongside a response in a another thread with you saying "muh constitution", then things point in that direction. Great way of avoiding the mass information collection there, which is very unconstitutional. Here's an interesting tidbit, the military swears an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Not only that, but the military is just ordinary people and they will be the ones who would support and help everybody else against the government. And don't give me that modern day military tech also because the groups of people in the middle-east have been fighting against fucking NATO countries for the past decade and they still have yet lost. Don't forget that the government can't just kill American citizens as it's a deprivation of 5th Amendment rights and the government can't strip natural-born citizens of their citizenship either. Why would the government release they've been depriving people of Constitutional rights by detaining them? And there's a provision in NDAA that allows detention which has only been passed under Obama

As I said, government can't kill us. They only can if we're actively attacking them. Sleeping at night means we're not showing a threat and killing us would deprive us our Constitutional rights; we'd be martyrs

All revolutions end up with some blood spilled. Having a blood-less one will accomplish nothing. This is the very reason why we have the 2nd Amendment: To only protect ourselves, but to forcefully defend the rest of the Constitution

Do you really think citizens can get ahold of explosives here as easily as they can in the middle east?

More so, you probably have things around your house to make several explosives. You do realize they are easy to create, correct?
Rather VERY simple to create napalm. All you need:

-gasoline
-styrofoam

I have this interesting book that tells you how to make explosives and shit

No.

Even if the United States Government did get out of control and abolish the Constitution and Bill of Rights we would still need the support of the Military to start a new revolution.

That's what militias are for.
And militias can't destroy tanks and helicopters if the Military stands by the Government.
*looks at the middle-east and north africa*

Plenty of other people are doing it perfectly. Unlike other countries, ordinary people have the ability to own and use explosive weaponry so long as they go through the proper paper work

Yep. Law abiding citizens will be the ones fighting so they can uphold the law.

The job of the military is to defend the Constitution, as they swear an oath of such

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

They can actually just murder anyone under the NDAA. They just have to claim you're a "terrorist" which they now consider protesters exercising their freedoms to be. They don't need to give a reason or defend the claim and you lose your citizenship, allowing them to murder you.
And this is why I own guns. I'll take a couple fuckers down with me if the situation ever arises

The education system needs to be localised again
Jesus christ no

There are a lot of things that should be left to local governments, or no government at all.

But education is not one of them.
Exactly why not?

How would you feel if Europe started to tell you what to do? You'd be pissed. Local and, at times state, government knows where their children stand at education. Allowing locals to design an educational plan based on the needs of children will be far better than a flat, cookie-cutter regulation ALL schools have to follow

Centralizing government causes schools that are already ahead of everybody else to step back and lower standards, something that goes against the idea of education
Kinder, just shut the fuck up. We all know why you want education decentralized.
Lol, stay mad for being proved wrong

The Flood / Re: Let's be nothing but logical now
« on: November 01, 2014, 11:42:50 AM »
It's not an argument even remotely tied to logic. It's a matter of personal belief and nothing more
It is not an argument though, one side is factually correct, me, and one side is factually wrong, the people who believe God is real. There is really nothing more to it. I thought adults were supposed to get over having imaginary friends.
Look at everything around you: the trees, the grass, the children, the water, the sky. You can't tell a design of this complexity and this peacefulness cannot exist. The scientific law of chaos means there must be just that-chaos. But where is that chaos on earth? Not here, because God must exist in order to stop the chaos.
Alright, I actually laughed. I will give you a 7/10

I think BC might actually be serious though. I hope he does not give money to churches, because that just continues to slow the advancement of human society. Religion needs to be abolished.
The Catholic Church has always a huge supporter of education, including science. They actually helped progress humanity

Serious / Re: What is your view of Conservatives?
« on: November 01, 2014, 08:20:16 AM »
They're seen as toxic because they are. They're also generally pretty stupid.
lol

That's exactly the sort of tribal mentality that leads to gridlock and a lack of political progress. Conservatives aren't stupid, their psychology and moral priorities just tend to be organised differently when compared to progressives.
I said generally. I rarely encounter conservatives that have logical arguments for things beyond "muh bible" and "muh constitution"
Constitution is a very important document

Have fun not getting a fair trial, free speech, and privacy without it
