If you have the Libertarians, you should have the Greens too.
Even though I despise the Green Party more so than the Democrats, all parties should be on the ballot

http://wtvr.com/2014/10/31/watch-u-s-senate-libertarian-candidate-robert-sarvis-offers-his-views-on-current-issues/Election day is five days away and the candidates have been appearing on CBS-6 News at 7. Over the past several weeks, we’ve heard from the two major party candidates in the race for U.S. Senate, the incumbent Democrat Sen. Mark Warner and his Republican challenger Ed Gillespie .
Thursday we heard from Robert Sarvis, the Libertarian candidate. Sarvis had been excluded from debates with Warner and Gillespie because he had not previously polled at least 15%, a barrier that frequently prevents third party candidates from getting the attention of the electorate.
He offers his take on some of the contentious issues of the day, including drones, the Affordable Care Act and government regulation.
Click on the video player above. The Republicans and Democrats do their hardest to keep politics a monopoly split between them. Their 15% policy and ignoring of popular 3rd parties restrict American political knowledge, leaving the people who vote for them a small number

I'd get accused of rape. So...maybe.
Not if they were above the level of .08%. Well, you could but it would more than likely be dismissed because she didn't meet the legal requirement of being drunk

Government should prioritize the people first in the form of tax breaks, reductions, and even tax free weekends.

Happy Birthday Jesus!
Not his actual DOB. It's estimated around spring or summer time he was born based on research and I believe a certain crop growing at the time, which could only exist in one of those climates

vegans are killing the planet. People who eat meat eat cows, thus reducing the amount of harmful methane gas in the atmosphere

Visiting the USA isn't worth going through the TSA.
It's made out to be far worse than it really is. You should definitely visit if you can.

I think the thing that scares me the most about the "ban guns" mentality, is how ignorant you have to be to not understand how easy it is to make a gun.
That said I don't agree with either side of the argument/spectrum.
That, and banning guns would just resort in people using other methods to kill
Not even. There are so many guns in circulation that banning them wouldn't change anything, if anything crime would increase.
And that's the problem. It's far easier to get a gun illegally in America than it is in the UK. That's really what needs to be attacked, along with some better background checks especially on mental health.
Well of course. I was just going by a hypothetical situation where guns somehow were not in circulation, just as how a person can't get hold of an Apache helicopter. People will always find ways to kill each other and it's extremely idiotic to make attempts at banning all guns because there are so many in circulation Of course, restricting the ability for law-abiding citizens won't solve anything. There is no sure way to eliminate all illegal guns, but it can possibly be controlled. Part of that is tightening prison time and punishment for those that commit gun crime, along with eliminating plea bargains of those being prosecuted. Another way would be to charge the ATF for the whole Op: Fast and Furious seeing as how they put a lot of guns on the illegal market

So when the government was Partially shutdown, people were roaming the streets yelling anarchy and making the LA riots look like a walk in the part, huh? State and local governments would still be fully operational
Let me fix that for you.
A total lack of any central would create absolute chaos.
Talk to majority of Americans who don't read into things. They would have thought the government was fully shutdown. Yet those same people still kept on with their daily lives. What really showed is that people are capable of making rational decisions and not go primitive; no anarchy, no riots, none of that. People can live without a strong central government, and a strong central government is a huge evil

Yes. Anarchy and a period without a government is far better than our current system.

Why would we.
Government tyranny out of control.
but it isnt
Plenty would argue it is.
A few backwoods, inbred secessionist retards and their mother's neckbeards don't count as "plenty" out of the millions of Americans.
Fucking what?
If you actually support the government mass collecting personal data without probable cause or a warrant or if you support the idea the government can detain a person indefinitely through the NDAA then fucking leave this country. Same shit we fought the British over and it will be the same thing we fight over again
I don't, actually, so don't put your words into my mouth. But you and Camnator are thinking about running around like little Cliven Bundies wanting to spill blood, which--given today's military tech compared to the Revolutionary War's--would be a fucking DISASTER. You'd end up blowing at least half the country apart just because you live under an imaginary threat of the NDAA (show me where a person's been detained indefinitely please?). Also the NDAA has been around way before Obama.
But if you guys feel like charging with your homemade explosives and store-bought guns against the might of the military, have fun with the drone bombs crashing on your heads.
(And just for your information, I'm not against the idea of a revolution, I'm just against the idea of a bloody one. Just look at the fucking TEA Party before the Republicans hijacked it and took over.)
Seeing as how you've had no mention that what the government is doing is wrong, alongside a response in a another thread with you saying "muh constitution", then things point in that direction. Great way of avoiding the mass information collection there, which is very unconstitutional. Here's an interesting tidbit, the military swears an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Not only that, but the military is just ordinary people and they will be the ones who would support and help everybody else against the government. And don't give me that modern day military tech also because the groups of people in the middle-east have been fighting against fucking NATO countries for the past decade and they still have yet lost. Don't forget that the government can't just kill American citizens as it's a deprivation of 5th Amendment rights and the government can't strip natural-born citizens of their citizenship either. Why would the government release they've been depriving people of Constitutional rights by detaining them? And there's a provision in NDAA that allows detention which has only been passed under Obama As I said, government can't kill us. They only can if we're actively attacking them. Sleeping at night means we're not showing a threat and killing us would deprive us our Constitutional rights; we'd be martyrs All revolutions end up with some blood spilled. Having a blood-less one will accomplish nothing. This is the very reason why we have the 2nd Amendment: To only protect ourselves, but to forcefully defend the rest of the Constitution
