Serious / Re: Should College in the United States be free, like Public Schools?« on: December 09, 2014, 10:06:03 PM »YesYou directing the questions to my schooling?Okay, now, are just talking tuition costs here? How accredited is the school? Are you solely taking the minimum courses for the required credits for your (what I assume is a) two year degree?NoneHell noAnd how many government subsidized grants are you taking again? An entire year, 2 semesters, is a bit more than $4,000 at my college. People who pay $20,000+ a semester are idiots I will say having a 2-year degree and wanting to work in local government is the best way to make an impression and get hired. Taking a simple 100 level course has gave me more knowledge than like 80% of officers on the streets, meaning I know more about the law and pose a less litigation risk for the department. On top of that, pay is like an extra $5k a year with a degree 1840

People who pay $20,000+ a semester are idiots My school is VERY accredited, it's the 2nd biggest community college in the state of Virginia and has articulation agreements with American University, George Mason University, James Madison University, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion, University of Maryland University College, University of Virginia, and Virginia Wesleyan College, and a few others My degree program is 66 credit hours and have only taken courses that are on my degree plan; I'll probably pay out-of-pocket for other courses like firearms and marksmanship 1841

And on top of that, a 2 year degree pays more than any other degree as per a study done Georgetown Center on Education and the WorkforceHell noAn entire year, 2 semesters, is a bit more than $4,000 at my college. People who pay $20,000+ a semester are idiots http://cew.georgetown.edu/collegepayoff/. That loan will be paid off in the manner of a couple of years and the person can gradually work up to a higher degree if they wish to do so, as they have a better income to afford it That's higher education in general; we live in a bloated market with a majority having a degree but nobody is hiring them. It has some part in people not wanting to be flexible, but it shows how much a scam degrees really are, as 20 years ago you didn't need a degree for what you have to do now. More emphasis should be placed on trade schools, rather than 4-year colleges 1842

People already think college is just a 4-year party and this will make it worse 1843

Lack of 32v32 gave Rush a better feelPlease bring back Damavand Peak and Isla Innocentes. We need more good Rush maps.Is rush as unpopular on consoles as it is on PC? I think DICE is reluctant, because BF4's rush implementation was pretty sloppy, and the community prefers conquest because of it. 1851

Serious / Re: If you live in a country that banned Mein Kampf« on: December 09, 2014, 12:14:53 PM »I'm going to look stupid walking in class from laughing my ass off. Thanks budKiyo, Meta, Slash, Berzerk Commando, Kernel Kraut, Kinder, and a few others whose usernames I can't remember. If you think people genuinely revere Nazis, there's something wrong with you.Either make a rebuttal or just don't reply at all. Go ahead and drop the discussion if you want, but don't start acting stupid.Oh ok you're just trollingThe majority of German politicians are closet Nazis. The majority of governments in Europe are fascist.I can't think of any place where Nazis are put on pedestals. I'd say Nazism is probably the most widely hated thing in human history. Calling someone a Nazi or fascist is the most powerful slur in modern politics. People call the UKIP Nazis, for example, demonstrating a clear misunderstanding of the ideology. If a politician in Germany is accused of Nazism, that's it for his career. Nazis are our boogiemen, the default evil. The word Nazi doesn't even mean National Socialist anymore, it's the new way to call someone an asshole. If you call banning Mein Kampf a "suppression of ideologies" you're just being dumb.I wouldn't call it valuable in and of itself, but understanding this ideology, and it's causes and implications, is pretty important if we want to prevent it's resurgence. If you think Nazi ideology is important and valuable then there's nothing I can say to you about this.So you're not for suppression of ideas, you're just for suppression of ideas. You're taking what I said out of context. I said I'm not for suppression of ideas, I'm for the suppression of Mein Kampf and by extension all books promoting or glamorizing Nazi ideology.Suppression of fascism is not suppression of ideas.I'd love to know what makes you think fascism isn't composed of ideas. 1860
