http://www.examiner.com/article/missouri-democrats-propose-law-giving-gun-owners-90-days-to-turn-weaponsMissouri Democrats have introduced a measure that if passed into law, would give owners of certain types of "assault" weapons 90 days to either turn them in to authorities, disable them or ship them out of the state, Jim Hoft reported at the Gateway Pundit Thursday.
According to House Bill 545, "assault" rifles are defined as any semi-automatic rifle with a detachable magazine that has one or more of the following characteristics:
a. A pistol grip or thumbhole stock;
b. Any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the nontrigger hand;
c. A folding or telescoping stock; or
d. A shroud attached to the barrel, or that partially or completely encircles the barrel, allowing the bearer to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned, but excluding a slide that encloses the barrel.
The law also applies to certain semi-automatic pistols and semi-automatic shotguns with similar characteristics.
Democrats in the state also want to confiscate pistols or rifles with fixed magazines that can hold more than ten rounds of ammunition.
those who violate it will be charged with a Class C felony, punishable by up to seven years in prison. I've heard it countless times that Democrats are not wanting to take away guns, they just want to restrict guns. Well guess fucking what, if some suburban single mom doesn't turn in her AR-15 if this is passed then she will be a FELON and be put in prison for SEVEN YEARS. How many times does it said that gun control and confiscation leads to innocent civilians being unable to defend themselves and treated as a criminal while a murderer can get off or make a plea bargain? And what the fuck is an "assault weapon"? Assault weapons are more made up than those WMDs Bush ranted about/ Plus, an assault rifle is SELECTIVE FIRE, meaning it has full-auto capabilities. AR-15s and every other non-Class 3 weapon is semi-automatic. Don't give shit that it's "military-grade". the AR-15 was produced BEFORE a military version of the platform was ever made /rant

Was going to a store and noticed people out on the corner with banners, flags, and posters. I only made out a part of a large banner that said "Gaza" and was like ohboy.jpg here some the delusional pro-Israeli crowd. Being nosey and wanting to see what was going on, I decided to make a u-turn and drive right past them so I could get a better glimpse. To my astonishment, these were not people supporting Israel, they were infact people supporting Palestine and Gaza with posters saying things like "Leave Gaza alone" and "Cut all U.S aid to Israel". I was so proud that I was about to roll down my window and shout "Death to Israeli scum" but I didn't and went on my way
But this is how you start movements and change, by going out and protesting on the side of the road or go online and spread a message. That's ALWAYS phase one for change

Debate among yourselves about the following:
Would there be a Taliban, Al-Qaeda ISIS, etc. if foreign powers stayed out of the Middle-East? Would these organizations disappear if foreign powers stayed out of Middle-East affairs and let them deal with their problems like the rest of the world has done?

Just sitting around and sorting through some coins and thought we could use a backup site in case this place gets attacked again. I know there's one on Bnet but the blinding effects of the site and crap layout makes it a drag to go on.
I do have experience with a forum service similar to proboards but it's called Forumotion and I can make a simple site with one or two forums so it can be a simple bunker if shit happens. Only thing is that it would have to be more discreet and that means no links out in the public, only way is through PM to users you know for certain won't turn around and give it to Rose or Comms.

I made a thread on Bnet with an image of an Israeli soldier stating he killed 13 children. Yes, I do have an extreme dislike for Israel but Bnet is dumb so I just express my opinion in over-exaggerated ways that make me seem like an incoherent dick wad. I could have posted it in a mature manner with a discussion value but again, Bnet is stupid and it's better to post that way and get a reaction of people from there EDIT: I have mobilized to Destiny forums now http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/67211775

Well, for America at least (don't know about other countries)
Free-market is defined as "an economic system in which prices are determined by unrestricted competition between privately owned businesses."
Back in the 1913, America's economy stopped being a TRUE free-market and capitalist system. What major event occurred in this year? The creation of the Federal Reserve. Each year this small group of people get together and hold a committee called the Open Market Committee (FOMC). This committee is charged with the task of deciding the amount of currency in the system (Reserve Notes, which is actually worthless) and how much it is worth, and even the amount of interest rates on said currency.
Now look at the definition of market manipulation/manipulative-market
"Market manipulation is a deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market and create artificial, false or misleading appearances with respect to the price of, or market for, a security, commodity or currency"
What the Federal Reserve does each and every year is they sit and manipulate the system in order for it to work in their advantage. There is nothing free about that. When people, example being Kiyo, says Capitalism or free-market fails, it isn't because we don't live under such a system. We live under Cronyism

I was at Wal-Mart and as I passed by the arts and crafts section, I noticed a strange product being sold. Upon close examination it was string. But oh no, it wasn't just ordinary string. It was in fact string made out of hemp

blah blah NRA This is something I never really thought about and I agree with this. When these killings and crimes happen in bad areas, it's shrugged off as the typical norm and it's an evil social acceptance that it will happen in these bad areas. But when it spreads to suburbia and more established and respected areas, all of a sudden it becomes an issue and only then will media and politicians talk about it There's also the fact we have the right gun laws on the books, it's just that the government isn't enforcing them, especially when a criminal can plead guilty and get a lesser charge or even yet walk free. Plus gun restrictions only create more victims by decreasing the chance of a innocent citizen from wanting to defend themselves Just as the point Colion makes, passing more laws when the ones are not being enforced is trying to put out a house fire by blowing on it

Anybody suffer from it?
I don't know if I actually have it but I almost half of my week ends up feeling like it. Mostly deprives from boredom, to which I just stare outside or the ceiling for a while, but it also comes from this feeling of loneliness and a void I just can't fill. Plus I only have a very, very few number a friends which doesn't make it better. So yeah
*shrugs*

[ http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1b9_1406532712Israel has confirmed that it unintentionally hit a UN school in Gaza last week, but denies reports that anyone was killed in the incident, claiming the courtyard area was empty when the strike took place. Palestinian officials say 16 people were killed.
Around 200 others were injured, according to Palestinian officials, as three Israeli tank shells hit the Ashraf al-Qidra school in the town of Beit Hanoun last Thursday. Women, children, and UN staff were reportedly among those killed during the shelling.
Israeli army spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner said that the shell that hit the school was not fired intentionally.
?A single errant mortar [round] landed in the courtyard of the school,? he told journalists during a briefing. ?The courtyard was completely empty? at the time of the incident, he said, referring to aerial footage. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed outrage and horror at the tragedy.
?Many have been killed ? including women and children,? Ban said in a statement on Thursday.
?I am appalled by the news of an attack on an UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) school in Northern Gaza where hundreds of people had taken refuge,? he added.
The school was being used to shelter hundreds of Palestinians displaced by the conflict. UNRWA has called for a full investigation into the incident.
"It is important in a case like this where a UN school in which hundreds of people took refuge is hit in this way, that there should be full transparency and accountability," UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness told AP.
Gunness added that the school was clearly marked as a UN shelter, and that the Israeli army had been made aware of its location.
The fighting between Israel and Palestine has been ongoing since Israel launched Operation Protective Edge on July 8. The overall death toll from the conflict has climbed to over 1,000.
The Israeli army was responding to militants ?in the vicinity? of the school, who fired mortar rounds and anti-tank rockets at Israeli soldiers, Lerner added.
?We reject the claims that were made by various officials immediately following the incident, that people were killed in the school premises as a result of [the Israeli army's] operational activity,? he added. It is "extremely unlikely that anybody was killed as a result of this mortar.?
The spokesperson claimed that the victims might have been wounded elsewhere and were ?brought to the compound after injury? for help.
Meanwhile, the commander of Civil Defense in Gaza, Saed al-Saoudi, said on Sunday that ?all the testimonies of the wounded, witnesses, paramedics and doctors confirm that the Israeli shells are the cause of this massacre.? I just don't even.......How do you expect to launch mortar rounds at a fucking school being occupied by civilians and deny any deaths from such as your fault? Israel is a cancer that needs to be destroyed. They've gotten away with so much shit that somebody needs to put them in their place
