Gaming / Forge hype
« on: November 09, 2014, 09:47:10 PM »
Managed to find my profile on pre b.next and had a look around my fileshare; found some screen shots of this map I made at random one day. With the updated Forge in the MCC, I seriously can't wait to get back in action and make some cool looking maps. Just one day left basically ^-^

Think I either named this Retribution or Redemption

Oh, if anybody is on Reach and wants to download it, here's the link on Bungie

Skip to about 1:20 and you will see different selections with various characters and titles. This is apparently called the Helix and is explained later on in the video being some database kept by Abstergo. Here, you are able to play through mini-levels (first one being played in the video) but look through the list, and you will see one called "Jazz Age Junkies" and assassin wearing a suit typical with early 20th century attire

So on top of the WWII DLC and these various mini-levels, this Assassins Creed seems to be one of the best and most in-depth of the serious with a lot of time and detail placed into it

Well, back in high school that is. Not that I really had any choice......she was a friend of one of my friends at a table I would sit at so she was there like almost everyday. Fucking scarred the shit out of me and never surprised me she would do something like this

Quote
Chesapeake, Va. – Do you still love me?
Prosecutors say that’s what Rachel Hutson asked her father while sitting in the back of a police cruiser.

Hutson was 19 years old when she was charged with murdering her own mother Susan Hutson.

It happened at their Osborn Avenue home on Black Friday last year.

According to the medical examiner’s report, 58-year-old Susan Hutson died from a shotgun blast to the chest at close range.

A search warrant states Hutson then called her father after the killing and sent him a photo of her mother’s body to prove it.

Last year, Defense Attorney Erik Porcaro told NewsChannel 3 the teen had a history of mental illness that had gone undiagnosed for years.

Chesapeake court documents show Hutson was admitted to Central State Hospital this summer.

In a letter to the judge in September, hospital officials said they found “little evidence of psychotic symptoms.”

The letter states that Hutson had the ability to control her outbursts of “impulsive,” “aggressive” or “destructive” behaviors when she chooses. Health officials also said Hutson understood the charges against her and was aware that the outcome of her case will have an impact on her future.

This week, a Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court judge ordered that Hutson is competent enough to stand trial now. But court documents show her attorneys plan to argue she wasn’t in the right state of mind on the day of the murder.

As Hutson sat in that police cruiser on the day of her arrest, prosecutors say her father told her he still loved her. She responded “Sorry.”

Heard my mom say they saw the beagle we're fostering and they all wanted to see it

so yeah, I saw them leave and they were all looked 17+ and easily 7.5/10 (._.)

Authorities are looking for a Florida quadruple amputee in connection with the murder of his parents.

Sean Petrozzino, 30, is on the run and considered armed and dangerous, authorities say. He went missing after his parents were found fatally shot in their home, and he is believed to be driving his father’s red Toyota Camry.

Petrozzino has two prosthetic legs and no hands.

Do I seriously need to go any further?

President Obama said Wednesday that he accepts the American public’s message in the midterm elections that Washington needs to break its political gridlock, even as he will now face a tougher final two years after Republicans won control of the Senate for the first time in seven years.

“I hear you,” Obama said at a news conference in the East Room.

“Obviously, Republicans had a good night and they deserve credit for running good campaigns,” he added. “What stands out to me is that the American people . . . expect the people they elect to work as hard as they do, expect us to focus on their ambitions and not ours. They want us to get the job done. All of us in both parties have a responsibility to address that sentiment.”

Obama’s remarks came shortly after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), fresh off his party’s sweeping victory Tuesday, sounded a bipartisan note, calling on Obama and Democratic leaders to find common ground with the GOP during the next two years. The president had spoken with McConnell, who stands to become majority leader, by phone shortly before their news conferences.

“My interactions with Mitch McConnell is he’s always been very straightforward with me,” Obama said. “To his credit, he’s never made a promise he couldn’t deliver.”

Obama cited investments in infrastructure and multi-nation trade pacts as areas of potential compromise, but he also emphasized that voters on Tuesday endorsed raising the minimum wage in several states — something Democrats have pushed in the face of Republican opposition that it would stifle business growth.

“As president, I have a unique responsibility to try to make this town work,” Obama said. “All of us have reason to make all Americans feel the ground is stable underneath their feet . . . and folks here in Washington are concerned about them.”

Well hopefully this stays true

Serious / West Virginia elects to position nation's youngest lawmaker
« on: November 05, 2014, 12:51:22 PM »
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2014/11/04/west-virginia-elects-americas-youngest-state-lawmaker/

Quote
A West Virginia University freshman who did most of her campaigning out of her dorm room became the youngest state lawmaker in the nation Tuesday.

Republican Saira Blair, a fiscally conservative 18-year-old, will represent a small district in West Virginia’s eastern panhandle, about 1½ hours outside Washington, D.C., after defeating her Democratic opponent 63% to 30%, according to the Associated Press. A third candidate got 7% of the vote.

In a statement, Ms. Blair thanked her supporters and family, as well as her opponents for running a positive campaign. “History has been made tonight in West Virginia, and while I am proud of all that we have accomplished together, it is the future of this state that is now my singular focus,” she said.

Ms. Blair campaigned on a pledge to work to reduce certain taxes on businesses, and she also holds antiabortion and pro-gun positions. She defeated Democrat Layne Diehl, a 44-year-old Martinsburg attorney, whose top priorities included improving secondary education and solving the state’s drug epidemic.

Ms. Diehl congratulated Ms. Blair on running a good campaign and said she knew she was also up against broad dissatisfaction with Democrats in the state, partly from the widely held view that the Obama administration’s energy policies are hurting the coal industry.

“I’m very proud of the race that was run on both sides,” Ms. Diehl said. “Quite frankly a 17- or 18-year-old young woman that has put herself out there and won a political campaign has certainly brought some positive press to the state. I look forward to seeing what her leadership brings to the state of West Virginia.”

Ms. Blair gained national attention in May when she defeated the 66-year-old Republican incumbent in a primary when she was 17.

She will be the youngest state lawmaker in the nation, according to records kept by the National Conference of State Legislatures. There are more than 7,300 state legislators in the U.S., and fewer than 5% are under the age of 30, according to Morgan Cullen, a policy analyst at NCSL.

Ms. Blair said she would defer her spring semester to attend the part-time legislature’s 60-day session and make up classes in the summer and fall. She promoted her youth as an asset during the campaign, saying the voice of younger voters should be heard in the state capitol. An economics major, she hopes to become a financial planner, and she supports term limits.

She also contributed nearly $4,000 to her own campaign.

“Candidates should have some skin in the game,” Ms. Blair said in a recent interview. “I wanted voters to know I was serious.”

Regardless of affiliation, she deserves an applause for this great achievement

This libtard has taken my attention away from studying and instead of getting up and confronting hum, I'm going to pissed off here instead. If I were to actually get up and confront this 4-eyed skinny-ass chump, I'd first tell him no country is Democratic, all countries have a Republican government. Then I'd tell him that universal healthcare is the very contradiction to Capitalism and universal healthcare creates a sub-standard medical climate. After that, I'd point out that Switzerland has the 3rd largest gun ownership in the world with some of the lowest crime, Mexico has some of the strictest gun laws yet VERY high crime rate. Also the fact gun-free/gun strict states make up the majority of high crime rate

Election day is five days away and the candidates have been appearing on CBS-6 News at 7.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve heard from the two major party candidates in the race for U.S. Senate, the incumbent Democrat Sen. Mark Warner and his Republican challenger Ed Gillespie .

Thursday we heard from Robert Sarvis, the Libertarian candidate.  Sarvis had been excluded from debates with Warner and Gillespie because he had not previously polled at least 15%, a barrier that frequently prevents third party candidates from getting the attention of the electorate.

He offers his take on some of the contentious issues of the day, including drones, the Affordable Care Act and government regulation.

Click on the video player above.

The Republicans and Democrats do their hardest to keep politics a monopoly split between them. Their 15% policy and ignoring of popular 3rd parties restrict American political knowledge, leaving the people who vote for them a small number
