I'd play it if I had a PS4, but at the same time I'm not really that disappointed I can't play it

Of course I start playing Dark Souls 2 again, when Lords of the Fallen becomes free. Guess there goes my one likelihood of ever playing it hah

I don't really like fantasy when it's too fantastical, and after playing Chivalry and Dark Souls, I just find the swordplay in Elder Scrolls games mind numbing. Not that the gunplay in Fallout was any better till 4, but I found the setting and the theme more compelling, which made the terrible shooting negligible in my eyes.

the game auto-updated
Do you have downloads in the background enabled?
I think, but I don't know how to disable it.
I think you gotta go Settings Power & startup Power mode & startup then change the Power mode from Instant-on to Energy-saving That's the only thing I can find that mentions the background downloads in this latest dashboard anyway, I swear it was a separate toggle unrelated to the power settings in the past.

Is there a way to un-update the game on Xbox one? I really want to be able to do the bullet money glitch again.
If you uninstall the game, then reinstall it but decline the update prompt, that'll do it. Don't know any other way.
And that survival mode sounds interesting, but having to sleep to save just sounds like a terrible idea for a Bethesdsa game. They could at least make it save when you wait too. Not to mention how even more annoying the Minutemen quests will be if you can't fast travel to finish them in time.
Re-installing right now, I hope you're right.
I've done it before with other games, so it should work. For some reason the last patch for Metro Redux was fucking up my game endings, so it would just hard cut back to the main menu instead of playing the epilogue. But it worked when I reinstalled it and declined the patch prompt. You'll obviously just have to play offline when you do whatever glitch you wanna do

Vertibirds, babeeeeeeeeeee
so you're saying I should have to join the brotherhood to make the minutemen viable
I'm saying you should use institute teleport tech to defend railroad outposts
wait yeah, wont the institute still relay you to anywhere in the commonwealth, despite turning off fast travel
