The Flood / Re: It's over

It's not over. Not yet.

Not yet.

You're right. Truly it's never over.

I feel that I'm the only one now who remembers that as being from Halo 4.

I recently beat the game on Legendary so I remember.

I just felt like saying something else.

Oh dear that game was so easy on legendary. I mean, I love it at least as much as the others, (Probably more) but I feel like 343 went the Bethesdfa route of hard difficulty; more enemies with higher health.

Actually, I just started all the levels at the final rally points, making it even easier. Last level was a bitch at first but I manged to deal with it and beat it.

Got the achievements for it too. 343's fault not mine. They forgot to add a piece of code to prevent that which Bungie had in Halo 3, ODST, and Reach.

Fucking lol. I just went through the entire thing (Excpet using the glitch to skip 2/3rds the pelican mission) because I presumed you had to.

Heh. 343 should have just waited and released 4 on the Xbone, given it more complete features in customs and stuff.

Update. They don't show on mobile, but do on PC. I prefer the previous ones, they were a lot simpler.

CRAWWWWLING INNN MY SKIIIIIIN
God hates figs
fix'd

Learn your Bible kids. Jesus didn't kill gay people, he killed a fig tree.

God also sent bears to kill kids after they mocked an old man.
Not kids, people around the age and intelligence of /b/.

So yeah, kids.
If kids are neckbeards, then damn has the internet changed kids.

They have the mentality/ mental age of them.

ITT: people who never played fallout 3 DLC

Too much for my money, plus Fallout 3 didn't entertain me for long....

You've made a classic mistake. You don't buy Bethesda games until the GOTY edition comes out, ten get the DLC disc and let all your friends borrow it for free DLC.

Don't buy it all separately.

Was this from The Pit? Cause I can't remember the dialogue in that game, it's been to long.

Yes, it was the Pitt.

Also, that shit is expensive.

No. I got one from Asda for £30 for my prom.

I wear that shit whenever I can. If it wasn't so muddy and rainy where I live I'd wear it whenever I go out.
I think he meant a GOOD suit

What? It looks exactly the same as any other. Just not custom made or have some kind of brand adds to jutify more money.

Citizens of The Sep7agon, workers of Downtown, ninjas of Uptown, and all fierce souls who do what must be done! I bring you good news! We stand at the dawn of a new golden age. Where others merely survive, we thrive! Our layout is the envy of the Desticles! Our moderation is the envy of the Waypointers! Our shitposting is the envy of #OffTopic! And while I have led your efforts, it has been by your own strength that you have earned all of the envy of the Internet. They envy the shit posted by the workers in our boards, and they envy the strength of our members and moderators who wield that spam for The Sep7agon. And most of all, they envy our victories in the struggle for freedom. Because, yes, freedom is what we all work towards. Freedom from bans, freedom from drama, freedom to live as once we did before we were shackled by DeeJ! And so, to celebrate this struggle, I ask my loyal members: who among you is prepared to fight for your freedom? Who among you will risk your life in the Flood to create a new life of freedom in Uptown? Who will take this rare chance to thrive?

Getting my book or game or something to do with my scifi work published

Live in an entirely self sufficient home- solar panels, win turbines, grow food etc. Basically to not be reliant on society.

Explain why lemy's threads get locked but te barrage of "join muh shitty music" doesn't.

Anyone?

Because there aren't 20 of these made within the span of 15 minutes.

Can't it all just be kept to one pinned thread?

Gaming / Re: >TFW Skyrim got GOTY over Human Revolution
« on: November 13, 2014, 10:37:02 AM »
Ironically, I find the game more fun at the lower levels.
Most games are fun until you become a god in them.  I play most games on hard difficulty ("Heroic" in Halo terms), but aRPGs typically interpret "hard" as "enemies have more health".  That doesn't make the game more challenging, it just makes it take longer.

Thankfully there are mods out there that make Skyrim a much more challenging experience (like one mod that makes an arrow to your head an insta-death).  Still, it doesn't make up for the fact that Skyrim can be very shallow.

OT:  I like both games equally.  I've put a lot more hours into Skyrim (naturally), but I feel both games were worth the $60.

I feel one of my biggest faults in Skyrim was having it on console. I still don't understand why they didn't implement a hardcore mode like in New Vegas.

Personally though, I'm more interested in the boosting memory part. I would like to see it be used in more settings honestly as means of improving students during school years and such, but you know, blah blah ethics and all that jazz would probably prevent this from ever happening.

Why? There's nothing bad about boosting memory
