Argon sounds cool, but i feel as though it really depends on what type of characters are shooting them

The species that shoots them evolved in a carbon-dioxide based atmosphere, so they wear masks akin to those on Avatar that the humans use. their society is much like that of the USSR (Though they actually listen to their people and make sure they are happy to an extent, political dissent is not allowed and military service is mandatory) and their world is heavily urbanised. The military is sorted into three main groups- infantry, leader and command and this is separted by the colour of their coat, dark red, green or blue. The emperor has a sigature colour, used in the flag, stripes, mask colour, colour of plasma and other aspects of life. The current emperor uses orange, the previous violet.
well with that in mind, i'd have to say N2, i just feel like that would suit them well. i'm assuming they're the antagonists so i feel like those would be good colors for not-so-evil characters. the only problem is that that might make the connection to the USSR a bit obvious, not sure if that'd be a plus or a minus

sounds like a cool story though

There are a few species;

Sanpaari, Osmatari, Nûenin, Rithrael, Algonein,Thanatus,Menae,Tankaii,Iquin(And subspecies Iquinaf and Iquinay)

1,2,8 and 11 are all human allies. 3,5 and 9 are neutral/some factions enemy some ally and 6 and 7 are enemy (So is 10, but they're hostile to everything)

Then there's the S'pher which are like the Reapers/ Covenant.

Pre-TU halo 4 is better than post-tu halo 4
Reach has the best art style in the series
I can forgive bad gameplay for good stroy (Halo) but I can't forgive bad story with good gameplay (Destiny)
Reach had the best customs (Pre H2A)
343 has better lore handling than bungie
Kilo 5 was enjoyable to read
Spartan Ops was fun
Fallout 3 is a fun game
Vegas has a boring map, supported by good mechanics and story which even it out
Skyrim was a fun game
Oblivion was bad

>implying it's ever had a welcoming community

Every game, the 'pros' blame the newcomers for 'making the game worse' but then complain when they drive off the potential fanbase, reducing players.

The only part of the community that aren't dicks to everyone who hasn't been playing since before halo 2 came out are the forge community (Because it pretty much doesn't exist now) and the lore community still has idiots that despise 343 and hate them for the story post-Bungie.

Also the fact that most act like they just want a game with only one gun.
I could go and try to dig up threads from the Halo 2 forum welcoming noobs, not saying that in a derogatory way, and telling them that they'd be willing to play with them and help them, but I don't know if I could do that twice.

Most ex-pros/pros now that have made videos seem really laid back and make educational videos and explain basic things, as opposed to the over-aggressive MLG/Tryhard players that exist in some number. Also, the few players I've hung out with in-game were able to shit on me, but still kept me as a friend and would play with me despite me not being as good as them.

I don't think anybody wants a game with one gun.

I should've been clear about the pros thing. I was mainly referring to the wannabe pros and the MLG community that blames newcomers for every problem that exists in the game and shits on anyone that hasn't been playing since 2001.

The way people act around any gun that isn't the BR with wanting nerfs (And BR buffs) essentially makes the game a one-gun thing. In Halo 3, good luck using the AR or SMGs. In Halo 4, you used to be able to use pretty much everything before the TU which turned everything aside from the BR into a horrible weapon in every situation aside from the LR at long range.

Spoiler
And I can rek with the BR on H4, but suck with every other weapon I used to like. And I hate burst fire guns in everything so I don't enjoy the br, so that TU pretty much killed Halo 4 for me.

Oh yeah, I'll give everyone an idea of how large the file paths are in my folder for my writing.

G:/Hard Drive/Writing/Universe/Factions/Imperium/UCEDF/Aircraft/Generation1/Experimental/(File)

So that goes, like 8 subfolders, and thats average.

Thanks for the info, I can now colour the plasma my laser weapons in Warframe fire and say "Cool, I'm firing Hydrogen plasma"

I've never played warframe, but I've heard its good. What is it like? An FPS or something?

Third person co-op shooter. Tons of free fun. It's really the only game I play nowadays when I'm able to play games.

Is it on 360?

PC, Xbone and PS4

PC has the most content and is the most up to date, the others lag behind in updates, because of the way Sony and Microsoft process updates for games.

Looks like I won't be getting it for many months then.

Huh. I'd say whichever would seem the most abundant/easiest to utilize in the plasma-making process. Which I happen to no nearly nothing about how that is done. Or something environmentally friendly, idk.

Edit: Is there any real difference in effectiveness?

Well they're all superheated to a few thousand degrees, so they are all doing 4th (If thats a thing) degree burns and melting most metals. It's more based on the colour than anything. The species that utilises them most is ruled in a society that works like an alien USSR, and the leader has a signature colour in their flags and aesthetic that dicates the colour of their weapons. The previous leader- Tabek- used a violet colour in the army. The current leader- Kabolt- uses orange, which is reflected in the flag and colour of lights and stuff.
So, N2 then? Seems the closest to orange.

Yeah. I decided that while posting that last :3

He (Helium)

Easy to come by and gives off a nice color.

Well actually, Helium doesn't naturally occur on Earth. Fun fact. It's escape velocity is lower than gravity so it means it is knocked out of the atmosphere by solar winds. IE, we're facing a helium shortage.

i was gonna say that red/orange would be the most realistic but it seems you've done a lot more research than i have

That would be Nitrogen gas. I think that would look coolest.  do't really want blue (Halo) or green (Fallout) but I want it realistic. I may have every weapon fire a different colour then have a rocket launcher that fires pink beams. However, all my stuff in my universe has a scientific background/ explanation, so I view my work to be better than destiny because it actually has the science part of sci-fi. Because I'm that egotistical.

It's cool though, I have loads of different weapons including plasma, laser, mass accelerator, ballistic, radiation and even bows.

My personal favourote is 859 Static Carillion, though 686 Ebullient Prism was cool as well, if a bit maniacal.

Next up: the weeb convention.

The sequel won't be as good as the first one, and it will try to rehash jokes from the first and attempt to set up a third one.

The colour of plasma depends on the gas being heated. which one should  I use?

CF4: blue
SF6: white blue
SiF4: light blue
SiCl4: light blue
Cl2: whitish green
CCl4: whitish green
H2: pink
O2: pale yellow
N2: red to yellow
Br2: reddish
He: red to violet
Ne: brick red
Ar: dark red

Many > One

I usually dislike being so cursory about stuff like this, but I really think it's that simple of a dilemma. I can only hope that the child knows why he must live in squalor.
If I were to make an assumption, I'd say the child doesn't know why. If he or she knows, then the child might take solace in the fact that it's for the good of many.

If they don't know why, then why would they care? Presuming it's all they've known, they likely can't even imagine a life outside the one they have much like how people who live in 3rd world countries are complacent not having cities (I mean those such as tribes and shit. Not just poverty) because they don't know or imagine anything better than what they have.

It's the Halo community. What did you expect?
Quality and plentiful Machinima, animated videos on Newgrounds, trick-teaching/informative videos on Youtube, and a welcoming community that tried to help new players to the community? Oh, right, that's not it anymore.

I used to be in a clan like that. It was actually pretty fun, especially when you went to war with other clans and invaded their bases and shit.

Yeah. I used to be in that one I linked ages ago when it was more relaxed, though I was a forger and never had to do stupid shit like that. Though base invasions were always fun.

But that link is just hilarious.

Spoiler
However, I wouldn't say the UNSC are authoritarian. They only ever acted in retaliation, even if nuking Far Isle was extreme. Though the URF were hardly any better. I would choose the country Rohan, as they're generally cool when their king isn't being mind controlled.
