The Flood / Re: Any Writing You're Working on?
« on: December 13, 2014, 11:15:46 AM »
I have a science fiction universe consisting of over 180 documents. That counts right?
Yeah, that certainly counts. Do you have any short stories or longer novel length work conceptualized?

I have the plot for a larger novel down but it's just eh trying to write single characters. I much prefer actually world-building.

Unless you have some sort of mental disease, you enjoy company.
What about incredibly introverted people who just tolerate company, and then end up feeling sapped of energy after every event?

There's no point trying. He's just a close minded idiot, and has proved this on many occasions
Coming from the edgy suicidal teenager, that really hurts. Teach me to cut pls.

I don't recall wanting to kill myself.
Oh you'll get there, don't worry.

Can you tell me next weeks lottery numbers too?

That's bullshit. We're social creatures. You may not be comfortable at first but it's good for you and you'll have fun. Trust me.
i can attest to the exact opposite

sometimes social situations are pure agony for five straight hours

imagine being the only sober person at a party that you were personally invited to by the host

so fun

This guy gets it

9246
So you turned down having some fun because?

Because he doesn't find that fun, maybe?
How is that not fun? A girl asked him out on a date. You don't have to drink, but nothing will happen of you have one drink. The girl likes him and he turns her down because of what? He's afraid of having fun and meeting new people?

Just doesn't compute with me.

The being around people part is why I'd say no. I don't find ring around others fun.

I've tried many times. I just can't. I just en up thinking about the fact I could be playing games or reading instead and get extremely bored.

People expecting you to have to talk when around others, even when you're doing something else.

9250
I would do that. I think alcohol is fucking terrible and I don't have much to say to anyone.

Yeah. The Clone Wars is an infinitely more interesting time period than the GCW.

Also, we have an Aragorn reference.
LOL FUCKING DROPPED

Fuck Jackson and fuck these movies.

ah. It's just a name drop. Thranduil tells Legolas to find Strider at the end
Legolas shouldn't even be there
It would be strange for Thranduil to be there and not Legolas

Have you read the book?

How much would you rate it out of 10?

8-9. It suffers from having too much fighting so eventually you sort of get bored of it. However, it is much closer to the book than its predecessor and we get to see Saruman, Galadriel and Elrond fuck shit up.

Just finished TBoTFA. I loved it, it's much closer to the book than 2, and Fili, Kili and Thorin are all killed off. Smaug is also killed like, 15 minutes in even though the film is over 3 hours.

Also, we have an Aragorn reference.

Yeah. I play with my friends over Skype every Friday. My characters a Half-Elf Ranger, with a bow, shotsword and dagger. Also Neutral-Neutral alignment.

The Flood / Re: Do you find Christmas still relevant?

Shit, I just like hanging out with my family, trading gifts, and watching reruns of thirty and forty year old Christmas movies while drinking coffee/hot chocolate.

But all Christmas films are fucking terrible.

The Flood / Re: Do you find Christmas still relevant?
« on: December 12, 2014, 06:40:15 AM »
No. I only get money so I don't have anything to open and I find everything else boring and annoying. I just stay upstairs and play games or something. Usually me an my friends do a Halo customs day or something, but they all have X1's now so fat chance of that this year. I'll probably just play battlefield or something. Fuck, I hate the fact my family expects me to get them stuff even though they don't like anything. I once spent about 3 hours on a nice drawing and just got 'Is that it' s fuck it. It isn't worth the time or attention.

Splendid Dust was a fig.

You should stop looking in that mirror.

Spoiler
Going by this, we should value the living over the dead, the healthy over the comatose and the young over the old. We should, however, also value the artistic over the boring, the intelligent over the stupid

I agree with all of this.

So disregarding the fact they couldn't tell it was an air rifle...

Air Rifles are legal here. I could buy one if I wanted.
