This is just a snippit of one of the Armored Kill maps. Couldn't really find any overhead shots that'd put it in perspective. They're massive maps, but the problem is most of it is just open fields with no cover. The map pack was really designed for non-infantry, because the only cover are some houses here and there, which get knocked down in 2 seconds. Meanwhile, the massive maps in the Bad Company games supported vehicles AND infantry, using designated paths, cover, varied terrain, visual cover (bushes, etc...), etc...
You didn't miss out on much with BF3's DLC. Endgame was pretty decent, and Close Quarters was like a fun clusterfuck mode, but other than that, the maps were pretty forgettable. BF4's DLC maps are much better.
Operation Whiteout seems a bit like tat. Snipers and BTR heaven. But China Rising'a maps and Final Stand's maps are quite good for overall balance. Then we have maps like Shanghai which are good floor all round combat...

I get the feeling only 20% of sep7 knows who nigel farange is. Unless there are a lot more britbongs on here than i think.
The 20% guess sounds about right. Me, Meta, Mr P, OP and Gatsby are the only bongs on here that I can recall.

I liked Bad Company's big maps, but I thought BF3's Armored Kill ones were overkill, because they were mostly massive open planes. I'd love to see Oasis, Port Valdez, Harvest Day, or Laguna Presa.
The only smaller maps I liked were Seine Crossing, Grand Bazaar, and Wake Island.
Never played any BF3 DLC aside from Karkand, because it and with the game. But Seine Crossing was a lot of fun, kinda like Dragons Teeth in BF4. But BF4 maps on Final Stand are overkill but fun; Hammerhead has Two tanks at bases, an additional two hover tanks, two jets and a scout and transport chopper per team and attack choppers at Bravo/ Charlie flags. I love it.

Hopefully MCC is fixed soon.
I was playing it last night, and while it is fucked up, I still had tons of fun on it.
It doesn't seem too bad. If I search BTB, I can generally get a game within 5 minutes.

What kind of pussy doesn't eat meat?
Aside from those who have genuine medical issues, this^
Yeah, medical issues aside.
I mean, it should be easy to eat meat these days. You don't have to hunt, kill, or gut the animal yourself. Thats literally the hardest part about eating meat.
Cows would be extinct if it wasn't for farming. That's the irony I find, vegans want to protect cows and stuff, but our love for beef is the thing that keeps them not extinct. Take that vegans!

We should all be in a squad you guys.
We'd be the finest soldiers the world has ever seen.
BF4 is the only game I want to e in a clan on so we can have loads of different squads that actually follow commander's orders.
It would be glorious. If we had more people if suggest a BF4 game night. I'm thinking about renting a server, if enough people are interested, we could have a Sep7 server.
Little bit off topic, but I was in a clan of some of the finest shitbuckets I ever met and even then people weren't too great at following orders when we went into a public match. Usually because the commander was a trog but hey <_<
It worked well for small unit tactics though, two five man squads on different comms channels with the squad leaders talking to each other meant we crushed the bejeesus out of every game we played (Barring one or two obviously, nobody is flawless forever lol)
*sigh*
Lotta fond memories of playing with them, but it all just sort of disintegrated over the summer as people got bored/busy/new games etc :/
This is why you need an xb1.
It's on my list <.<
Buuuut a desktop is probably going to have to come first, or a car <_< Probably the car >.>
You don't need a car.

More BF3 map remakes? Jesus, most of the maps apart from 1 or 2 weren't well designed, and the already returned the Metro Meat Pulverizer.
I'd agree on the large BC2 maps (Heavy Metal, Arica Harbour, Atacama Desert and perhaps Harvest Day), but I'd expect the destructibility to be ported over too at the very least. I can't say much about BF2 maps but from what I hear from old timers is that most of them were well designed with lots of flank points and only a few bottlenecks for those who wish to grind, and would be a good addition (though they already added Karkland, Oman and Wake for BF3, so those are out).
They added Oman in BF4, it isn't out of the question. Besides, I thought Wake was the Blood Gulch of battlefield, it's been in at least 3 of the games I know of.

Lets stage a coup of the staff board.
The passcode to get in is "Haram"
So now we have a guy on the inside? Excellent.

Mine has a Master Chief helmet on it in metal and a bunch of the Halo 3 weapons in grey on the background. Got it for my birthday a couple years back.
Are you 9?

Trip mines were good for lagging out maps in customs and dropping a free "get yourself kicked by teammates later."
Flare was very situational in the MP, only really working if you were a longshot with it.
Bubble Shield, Power Drain, and Regen were the three core used ones, for obvious reasons.
Radar Jammer was handy for a makeshift jump tool.
Grav lift was neat for some special trick jumps to get into hiding spots.
That one tower on high ground with the laser is basically the only time the gravity lift was useful.

What actually was useful, equipment-wise? Like, the power drain and bubble shield were it. Nothing else was useful. Honestly I just forgot I had equipment.
The regenerator is useful at times. Other than those 3 the others in the MP are just pointless. The radar jammer is very situation based. That thing was truly only good when the Brutes used it. The grave lift was only useful for those puzzle custom maps. There's really not that many times where you need it. What's funny is how OP the bubble shield is. It's basically the armor lock of Halo 3. Once that thing is deployed there's no bringing it down unless it drains itself or you go inside it and destroy it.
What I don't get is why the turret and active camo weren't present in the MP. The turret would be useful for a distraction. In the campaign it's pretty damn pointless.
I often think people forget hooting armour lock brought it down quicker. It wasn't OP at all. At least not compared to the over shield. We can see what the turret would have been like from Halo 4, that thing was useful for brining down a guy's shield just fast enough to get a shot in before he does.

But what if I don't want to put my video in spoilers?
But what if having ridiculous amounts of youtube videos on one page can crash mobile users?
But what if it's not a music thread?
I've never opened a music thread.
