Gaming / Re: I need advice for GTA« on: January 31, 2015, 10:55:04 AM »Everyone on here hates it because you have a finite supply of cash and you actually have to play the game to make money that might not last you long if you spend like a retard. As long as you don't see playing missions as a chore, you should be able to have fun with it. I'm not opposed to doing missions as long as it isn't just the same thing over and over again. 8163

I did a diagram on a program at school where I made two circles- one the diamter of Sol, one the Diameter of VY.C.M. When looking at Sol, VY just looked like a straight line, it was ridiculous. 8166

Gaming / Re: Do the Elder Scrolls games now feel all that fantasy to you?« on: January 31, 2015, 06:20:46 AM »They feel fantasy, but I don't think they're perfect. I really want to see some of the other races in the games, like the Sloads and all of the Akaviri stuff.Same here. It gets boring playing as the old same races and seeing them. It wouldn't be so bad if the majority of the races you play as weren't humans. Instead of having all these human races they should have done something like having the Redguards be some sand lizard kike race. Well, I think they're too far in now to conjure something new up unless you went down a route like the Falmer in Skyrim. But considering that we have a good deal on (potentially) four akaviri civilisations- one of which is believed to have contacted Tammriel- I would love to see Akavir as a location. Especially considering that that's where the Dragons come from. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Akavir_%28Continent%29 ^^^ Is a really interesting link. 8169
The Flood / Re: So, scientists have also developed promising quantum entanglement« on: January 31, 2015, 06:18:33 AM »Why is this so important? Quantum entaglement could mean for [near] instant communication across the entire planet- even wth modern tech and stuff liek Skype, you still get some delay. If/ when we begin going into space more, it will be the best option for instant communication with Earth from colonies/ craft, rather thna having to wait several minutes/ hours to communicate. It could revolutionise communications technology. 8170

Even if they're fairly good with criticism, it also sets a precedent for other games developers to see one of the biggest games companies in the world doing something, and decide to do it themselves. relevant YouTube semi-relevant YouTube They don't really have any video you need to watch, but I'd recommend listening to them. Or at least the first one, there's been a few cases of the first case happening and the whole nintendo thing could encourage people to do it more :/ 8174
Gaming / Re: Welp, Nintendo says *F You! Give me money!" To YouTubers.« on: January 31, 2015, 05:48:33 AM »They try this shit every year. Those retards fail to realize lets plays help sell games. By doing something that decreases the amount of people doing videos on your games that affects the sells of whatever game they were going to to. It might not be much but it's still a decent amount of people. For example the only reason why I found out about and bought FTL was because of Nerd 3 doing videos about it. It was his series that made me want to get Shdow of the Colossus. Never heard of it before then. Then I saw it was £15 in a used games store for the PS2 and decided nope. 8175

>100 billion galaxies, each with several billion- a trillion stars in, most with planet(s) orbiting them
A small star like Sol uses several million tonnes of hydrogen in it'sfusion reaction every second, and can last for several million years before it runs out. Just consider what bigger stars, like the red hypergiant VY Canis Majoris go through every second and for a much longer time. I love astrophysics <3 OT- I don't have a crush. So I am superior. The only time I ever did, I asked, she said no and then we were just friends after that. 8182

The header looks great, but when you scroll down that's when the inconsistencies begin. The footer is also terrible. The images on the main slider have different font styles and approaches. The blog page is the best part of the design, but it suffers of some strange choices in color, and images featured on the articles. (Not being consistent) Where the fonts on the partners page is a disaster. Needless to say, that the design is not integrated with the forums is the worst aspect of it.I consider the blog section the worst part, actually... That white on dark grey is jarring. And I guess if you really want to critique the partners section, then yeah, the fonts are odd. But it's not that bad (and not as bad as their spacing and display of the partner images without some kind of background element support). I'm not sure. I don't know I it will be just the front page threads or what. (I imagine only the halo related discussion ones would get moved thoug). As for software, I'm not entirely sure. 8184

We did that on the move from zetaboards, and will likely execute the same again. 8185
