Love all the changes. Glad to see the AR got nerfed in smart scope: that was crazy magnetism. Plus, the SPNKr and crouch jumping is back, the game will (hopefully) be less dudebro, and quickscoping should hopefully not have a few frame animation where you sway a giant box in front of the screen.
To be fair with PSU: how many people who've hated Halo since Reach, over mechanics like sprint, do you think still bought an Xbone, the MCC, played the beta, and signed up for Halo surveys? That's a pretty narrow selection pool, considering the fact that it assumes the average person participates on Waypoint or opens their emails from 343.
Same thing happened with arguments all over Reach and H4 forums: the "vocal minority" over lots of issues would be considerably bigger if you include the people with those opinions who decided to give up on the franchise and not bother bitching on forums all day. Can't say that 11% would be 80% (or even 50%) or anything, but I bet it'd be more than 11%.
Speaking of sprint an spartan abilities, I feel like a 4v4 beta wasn't enough to really show off their potential in the game. I would love a BTB map with a fuck tonne of skyscrapers or something that you can really use the ground point and thruster on, almost like Mirrors Edge or something. That would be sweet.
Oh god, imagine parkouring through a huge as fuck New Mombasa level.
Or a map set in an asteroid field where you have to jump off all the little rocks and climb on them and stuff. I really wish they kept the Jetpack...

Hmm, I do quite like the exodus storyline >.>
I would like to see more about the Final Light one though, it could be quite intriguing <.< Human evolution/mutation is one of my favourite sci-fi things >.>
Well, evolution and genetic modification would have bred many subspecies. But it set in the time when matter itself is beginning to decay into weak energy, and there are only a few stars left burning. Plus, the lifespan o the civilisation would be in the thousands of years, and they would be able to see the end unfold entirely, as a lack of resources forces their technology backwards and the survivors beginning warring for the control of what little remains. Also, everything links up. Every universe is connected through ways I've only got a rough idea of. But everything stems from Final Light. As for human modification, there's a faction that replaced their bodies with machines. Just for the transhumanists out there.

I'm on the PeeEssFore
If it finishes installing before the fucking beta ends that is ._____.
Yeah, I don't get why the PS4 is painfully slow at downloading anything.
Stuff downloads pretty fast for me. My the Xbone takes for fucking ever though.
Yeah. My 360 could download a 6GB game in a night if I left it on. Both H5 and BFH betas, both roughly 10gb, have taken the better half of two days in their download.
what's your down speed?
halo 5 beta which was like 10gb took me like 2 hours to download, whereas digital games around 4gb on my ps4 download in like 20 minutes or so.
I will just say its in the kilobytes >.> But I would think tht even if a 6GB was taking roughly 8 hours, a 10GB would take roughly 10-12 instead of >30 hours.

Off topic, but what's your opinion on the communities that solely care for the campaigns story or the customs? Like, I've seen many people who think that campaign and/ or forge should be removed entirely; but I can't really tell with you :3
Nothing wrong with campaign communities. In fact, if they wanted sprint, I would be happy and hope they got it.
As for forge. I'm on the fence. Its a very useful tool, but it seems like developer made maps have gone very downhill since forge was included in game.
Yeah. I hope that some o the better forgers make some maps based around no sprint, for the MLG playlist or whatever. Personally, I love being able to jut fuck around and make cool looking stuff. But I'm a whore for map editors on anything so... Speaking of sprint an spartan abilities, I feel like a 4v4 beta wasn't enough to really show off their potential in the game. >Sprint is togleable >People still bitching >Halo "Fanbase" #AlwaysAngryAllTheTime
Yep because we are being blatantly lied to and 343 won't swallow their pride.
Give me a few good reasons why sprint is good for halo.
I gotta go to walmart, but when I get back I'll easily refute every point anyone makes.
I enjoy it more.
You enjoy Halo reach and 4 more than ce-3?
I mean thats you're opinion and you're entitled to it, but you're the minority.
Yeah. I've not played enought (any) CE Because its never vote for but I'm not overly keen on 2-3. R/4 weren't really my strong suits either, I just played a lot with a party. I loved H5 though, I can't wait to see what they have planned for te big team stuff. Off topic, but what's your opinion on the communities that solely care for the campaigns story or the customs? Yeah. The Titanfall deluxe edition was on sale for £10 on XBL last week, and I couldn't afford it.
Well, I could, I just don't link my credit card. Plus I don't like downloading games.

I think there are two things behind that, for this one it's just down to the hardline beta being shite lol. When it's struggling to download things it's usually because it's biting off more than it can chew with simultaneous downloads which throttles at either the PS4 or the router <.<
You never replied to my last message.

XB1.
I don't know why everyone here hates it, maybe it's just this community's general distaste for battlefield as a thing. I love it so far.

No.

Cool. I like sprint, but more options is never a bad thing.
Anyway, I don't give one about multiplayer as long as the campaign is good, and 343 has my trust on that.
H5 will be the best halo yet.

I wasn't too sure but I've played a couple o matches and I'm in love. It feels a lot smoother an after than BF4 and I'm loving the new class system. I'm definitely getting this game now.
Also, this is like the first time I've ever been decent with a sniper on battlefield. I'm in love <3

I only played BC2 onwards. That said, while I do like the one off linear map like Metro, I consider it an exception rather than rule- a game full of Metros would be bad.
My favourite maps in BF4 are Shanghai and the Final Stand/ China Rising ones, the latter 2 for their emphasis on vehicular combat.

I disagree with whatever the shit people say about the Imperials in Skyrim.
What in the fuck did they do wrong other than fight the Aldmeri Dominion to a standstill by their fucking selves? So what they outlawed Talos worship. Do you seriously think they actually support that?
It's all temporary measures.
>implying the Imperial Legion was ever a credible threat to the Aldmeri Dominion and not just a pain in the ass
The only reason the White Gold Concordat was agreed to was because the Thalmor couldn't be arsed pouring the time, effort and money into completely eradicating The Empire. They've had the Legion under their thumb this whole time. P
This^ The legion are around because the Dominion allows them to be. Not because they pose a threat. Personally, I choose legion because the stormcloaks are just depriving the legion- the only chance for resistance against the aldmer- of soldiers and resources that could be used to prepare for the end of the current cold war.

How did you do the hexagon effect?
I'm guessing they're the Avengers, Black Mesa and Aperture Science logos, so presumably you applied some kind of effect to them via Photoshop.
How?

That Enclave quest line in Fallout 3 was pretty damn fun though. It was badass being able to storm the Pentagon with a team of Enclave soldiers...Oh wait there is no Enclave story line because Bethesda can't do shit for depth.
Unless you count that one choice at the end of broken steel where you can arbritarily blow up the Citadel for no reason.

The writing was terrible, but I really enjoyed the game. Vegas beer captured the wasteland feel for me, because it was untouched by war. I love both though, and if Bethesda's map team and Obsidian's writing team worked together on FO4 then it would be amazing.

Never seen that show, but those wolves are kickass.
When you have time, watch it. The hype is real.
Fantasy isn't really my forte.
I'd draw a larger comparison to medieval rather than fantasy. There aren't elves and dwarves and shit, jut people. Unless you count the one appearance of a giant for about 3 seconds.
To be fair, there also are white walkers, wights/zombies, dragons, magic, telepaths that take control of animals, shadow creatures, prophecies/visions, mystic assassins, warlocks and probably other mystical things that I'm forgeting right now.
It's definitely more politics/medieval, but there's some strong fantasy in there as well.
What I mean, was tht all that takes a massive backseat (maybe not the dragons). It's not like LoTR or TES where elves, dwarves, mages and orcs are the norm. It's a lot more grounded fantasy, if that makes sense. It's more like medieval with a sprinkling of anyway that fantasy with a. sprinkling f real stuff.

ITT: nostalgiafags
Still has more weapons, clothing, magic, depth and better systems than Skyrim.
The only thing that doesn't have better customisation than Skyrim is Fallout- armour is arms, legs, arms and feet and the helmet is just a hat.
Two things.
Customisation of armour is the only thing I give Oblivionand Morrowind.
if all you get out of RPGs is visual customization, you should be playing CoD or an MMO.
Please point out where I said that. I didn't enjoy morrowind because it just bored me.

Well duh, 30fps is more cinematic.
Every game should be 24fps. The human eye can't see past that anyway.
