Depends on the clothes. A $150 two-piece suit is going to be very different from a $400 suit, and so on. Overall, more expensive brands bring quality of workmanship, like material, fit, sewing, and dyeing. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned buying flannel for $20...reality check, you're not buying flannel, you're buying a thick cotton shirt dyed tartan. Flannel is a high quality material, not a color pattern, and it costs more than typical cotton.

Those chinese kids really cost a lot, don't they?

What?

They don't exactly pay the workers who make the stuff a lot now. If it says made in china, then it was probably made by someone earning a couple pennies a day or something.

Serious / Re: FCC to vote on net neutrality today

How, if at all, would this have affected speeds in the UK? Like, would it also slow down over here, too?
It wont affect things outside of the US at all. This basically treats US ISPs as a utility so they can't charge extra for preferred traffic on the network.

My bad. I meant if it did go through and they could do bad shit.

Like, I don't think any ISP's in Britain are owned by a US company, and a US company doesn't operate in other countries, obviously. So I'm wondering how it would have affected me if it had gone the other way.

Not saing that like I wouldn't care otherwise, it's a big deal no matter where it is. I mean, if it had gone bad, then it would just open the door for UK companies to do this shit. Albeit, UK companies have a slightly better reputation here than the US ones do, it seems..

In the 21st century, internet access should be considered essential, not a product.

I'm actually completely disgusted by this thread.

I shop almost exclusively at factory outlets.
I own $70 sweaters, $500 suits, $80 pairs of pants, all which I got for around 90% or more off.

I'm repulsed when I find out people actually pay department store prices, and even moreso when I find out that people bought cheap shit instead, and actually paid more than I did for my nice things.

Also pacsun is gross.
Even grosser than Armani Exchange.

You got ripped off.
>90% off of store prices

Eh. I read it that 500 was AFTER the discount. Bad wording.

Why do people care about the rocket launcher when the sword sucks so much ass it blinds you when you hold it.

I really hope they fix that.

Yeah. One of my few complaints about H5 was how I ende up avoiding the sword as it just blocks half the screen.

Personally, I like the new rockets- looks way more functional now. I really hope they do the same to the 'Hog and Scorpion, and make them actually look like feasible military vehicles.
For the scorpion it could look something like this with the tracks on each side being connected. It looks like an actual tank and it still retains a similar design.

Even going the route of the Grizzly from Halo wars and Spartan Assualt would be better; thicker armour and now the turret to above the driver so they any be sniped out.

That alone would increase the functionality like, 100%.
This thing would be one badass Scorpion. Like you said it  would have thicker armor and the driver is more protected. The other thing is that there are tracks in the middle would would help prevent it from bottoming out. But we can't have anything like this due to retarded gameplay. After all hijacking it would be a pain in the ass.

I could see it as a legendary vehicle in H5. That would be awesome, especially if there's a reason it being a replacement of the scorpion in lore.
Hell the resaon could be the military needed a stronger cannon on the scorpion so they designed a chassis to handle the weight.

Quote
Though popular and effective, the size of the Grizzly caused significant issues after the conclusion of the war, as remaining heavy-lift spacecraft were tasked for high-priority reconstruction and few threats couldn’t be countered with the lighter, cheaper Scorpion. In other words, while its performance was lauded, logistical requirements were simply insurmountable given post-war realities.

There's a reason why there were no Grizzlies on Earth or reach.

Also, the factory that made Wolverine tanks was obliterated on Mars.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't ever watched a video of yours.

But I think Sandy got it right. I mean, Nerd^3 was actually doing so much via playing and editing that he ended up working too hard and had to go to hospital because of sleep deprivation.

Though Zero Punctuation is fucking funny. I love his videos.

I dunno. I just buy clothes from George/asda. It's cheap and does what I need it to do; keep me warm.

The not I have ever spent on one item if clothing was £90 on a full coat. And that's made of proper wool and shit. I get everything else for less than £10 each, though I don't even do that anymore. I haven't bought any clothes aside from the coat for months because I already have clothe, I don't need more.

"So fades the great harvest of my betrayal"

"This here is sixty-six tons of HE-spewing dee-vine intervention. If god was love, then you can call me cupid." And various other versions of that speech.

"In this hour of victory, we know only defeat. i ask why? we are forerunners, giardians of all that exists. where there is life, the wisdom of our countless geberations has saturated the soil. our strength is a luminous sun, to which all things grow; and the impervious shelter bdneath which it prospers. humanity atands as the greatest threat in the galacy; refusal to eradicate them is a fool's gambit! I syand before, accused of a sin, of trying to prevent us being forced to recede; We squander eons in the darkness, while they seize our triumphs for their own! The mantle of responsibility for all things belongs to forerunners alone. Do not doubt the reality; the reclamation has begun.
And we are hopeless to stop it."

Is Infinite worth downloading? Bear in mind that I'd have to delete something else because my hard drive is full and it'll take 8 hours to download. I also didn't like Bioshock 1, so is there any point me deleting a bunch if stuff and leaving my 360 on for it or will it be a waste of time?

As long as you sell muskets, everything will be fine.

Who'd buy a musket from a gun store? You can have them shipped to your house.

Wow, didn't know that.

I mean, to have a replica for reenacting you need a shotgun licence here, so...

Besides, even if it's essentially dlc, you get more content than Halo ODST.

And Destiny, for that matter.

OT- they've been killing people for months now, it'll probably get the same reaction as any other mass killing by them, which is to say; a lot of 'Oh no!' but nothing actually being done. unfortunately.
