Isn't it that dark souls clone?
I don't really care for it.
Yeah man, like how Halo 5 is that Halo clone!
Except that's a sequel, not a new franchise. Unless they're making Asari souls sequel that has no outside relation to its predecessors.
I didn't like DS1, and this don't have the interest to go research anything about it.
It's made by the exact same people as Dark Souls one.
Here's an idea, if you don't know shit then don't make dumb ass comments about how it's a clone.
I seem to hae touched a nerve there. I'm just going off the Zero Punctuation and TotalBiscuit videos that both say its essentially dark souls. But it seems that you get mad easily so I'll stop now <3

This is the same company that didn't add allied Mgalekgolo and Unggoy in Halo 3 because they thought players would get confused.
I love how they purposely butcher their own games. They do stupid shit like that and they seem to forgot the Arbiter is in the game as well. It's pathetic we have no idea what he was doing outside the times where he's with us all because Bungie are lazy fucks.
They got rid of multiple campaigns- Arby and chief- in 3 because the fans hated it in H2.
I'm gla 343 is going back down tht road with Locke and Chief in H5.
You mean because a few vocal critics hated it.
The vast majority of players loved it, something 343 figured out.
Pretty much. I mean, there have been a few polls on waypoint tht have shown more people in support of newer gameplay features and the like who just don't say anything out loud, which is why sites like teambeyond basically have a grip on the way the multiplayer goes now.
Still, the a t that arbiter is becoming an essential character to te series makes me happy again. Plus his new armour looks fucking amazing.
I really hope they contract Blur to do the cutscenes for Halo 5.
I just know this much, they need to fire Certain Affinity.
All of their maps are bland.
I don't know. I liked Highlands and the H2A maps are pretty good, even if te game itself is shit. But of we just had a server browser half of halos matchmaking problems wouldn't exist anymore.

Everything changed when the Brutes took over.
But seriously, why are the sangheili even there when the jiralhanae are basically better in every way?
Elites were smarter and more skill with guns and swords.
The jiralhanae are far from stupid, and can make tactical decisions almost as well in a fight. That's on top of being physically superior. Really, they made the sangheili utterly redundant.
Except when they're angry- you wouldn't like them when they're angry. But otherwise, the Writ of Union, combined with all the prophet up to the last heirarchs respecting it meant that it was more of a tradition thing- the Jiralhanae have only been in the Covenant ~400 years as opposed to the Sangheili 3,000. They're the newcomers and most couldn't risk the Sangheili leaving the covenant as they still had a majority of its infrastructure and military night; you see what happens when the Sangheili get kicked out in their rebellion.

The Writ of Union explicitly states that the Sangheili will be the protectors of the San 'Shyuum and leaders of armies; this wasn't broken for over 3,000 years until Truth planned on taking over. At this point, the Brutes were more helpful to him as they are easier controlled and less likely to question anything, having completely converted from their own religion to the Covenant's when found on Doisac. Otherwise, the Sangheili sense of Honour had long made them ideal honour guardsmen in the covenant and their eye for strategy ideal leaders, whereas the Jiralhanae rely on brute strength- one example being in the Schsim, when several Jiralhanae cruisers bore down on the Incorruptible and were essentially relying on force rather than tactics to win.

The question I ask is.
Why did they turn into Moonbabies in Reach?
Different clans have different styles; those fought on High Charity were likely Tartarus' own clan, whereas those in Truth's fleet in H3 were o other clan(s), and the aim in Reach was to make a design that combined te two, and you can tell from looking like chewbacca while keeping power armour- though again, this would have been another clan(s).

Because weren't the names Elites and Brutes termed by Marines?
Or Apes and Alligators as used by the Headhunters. But yeah, I love how 343 is actually using the proper names more now in their media.

So yes. Plus the names kind of made more sense as they were, the Jiralhanae are very brutish, whereas the Sangheiliare more elite in their lifestyle, always trying to become the best in their keep.

Started Halo 4 legendary solo and did the first three missions before docking around on GTA online with a friend.
Five star wanted level and holding off the police with a fire truck was ducking hilarious. Then got a 9000 bounty for stealing an NPC's mini...

So after skimming this thread for real responses I'm going to throw out some advice for dudes and ladies who may be uncomfortable speaking to other people IRL while not having any problems online.
Now this may not actually help since it's all anecdotal evidence, but get a job where you have to interact with the public while you're in school.
Not only are you forced to interact with the public in a sink or swim kind of situation, but you'll make contacts through work that'll get you invited to parties that will further expand your opportunities and interactions with IRL person to person contact.
Ew parties

What is Twitch plays? Is it like they get the commenters to decide what they do or something?
I don't care for livestreams so I don't know much about it.
The chat feed is the commands the game is told to use
How does that work?
There's a script that plays specified text commands through an emulator as a button press. So you just set the commands and the script takes them out of the chat feed and inputs them into the game. Well it inputs every single thing typed but only the set control words actually do anything.
Fucking hell.

1- No religion. Or at least not enough to try and get me into it. 2- Gamer. I'm not giving up my pasttimes. 3- Not expecting me to spend every minute of my spare time with them.
Of course, this is all nul anyway because I want to live alone regardless.

Send it to her and request monetary gains if she doesn't want to be thrown off this plane grounded by her very angry father.
Perhaps she is wondering why you would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane?

What I dislike is it's culture and the fans of it.
How come?
It may be a british thing and thus only really associated with football (soccer), but hooligans and the people who have literally nothing else to talk about, or spend their time doing just infuriate me. Like the people who spend £300 on an xbox one or ps4 just to play fifa and nothing else.
Though it isn't just sports. I find fans of more or less everything obnoxious in general.
So the people infuriate you because you don't like sports?
I mean, why's it matter if someone buys an Xbox just for Fifa?
You say they have nothing else to talk about. What would you like them to talk about instead of sports?
Like I said, I would have no problems with sports if it weren't for the fans. I'm more apathetic towards it. It just seems a waste of money to spend a couple hundred on something which is only marginaly different to that last version- like I said, I specifically meant the people who buy one game and that's it. Just seems like a complete waste of money if you're not actually going to use it for anything more intensive on the new hardware. I don't know, anything. TV, films, games, anything. It's the kind of people who sit behind me in form and I have never actually heard talk about anything other than football. It ends up seeming like they are incredibly boring people.

I like all three of them. I personally think the first and second would look better if Earth was bigger.
I've not considered that- though I was thinking the middle space looked a bit empty. I was considering a version with an upside-down triangle in the middle rather than Earth.

The second one is reminiscent of weyland yutani a bit
You're going to have to explain that one. I don't know that one.
What's that off? I've never heard of it yet it reminds me of something.
And it's not ratchet and clank.
Alien/Aliens/Prometheus
Oh. It's been too long since I've watched those films. I need to watch them again before Blomkamp's film comes out.

i like 3
i feel like there needs to be more symbolism in all of these
could you elaborate on symbolism?
I'm trying to keep them fairly minimalist, so I don't really want to make them too complicated.
it just looks too minimalist, to the point where its generic
it needs symbolic colors, or little hints describing the organization in some manner
i dont know; put some personality into it
I like the minimalism, seems like something a futuristic military dictatorship (if that's what is) would use.
minimalism is done the best when the symbol is done cleverly
this logo is a good example
its a road going on forever
or this
or this
idk
I have some designs like that; Irisi Armouries has the flag of the colony of Irisi as it's emblem and it is basically 2 lines and the word IRISI under it.
it would be cool to add a few different art styles to different colonies
like a lot of them could be minimalist but a few could have a lot of more traditional, or maybe even more elaborate designs
sort of to match the feel of the different colonies
a very technology-based colony could have a clean and sleek, spacey design
while an industrial colony may have something totally different
Yeah. The militias/ paramilitaries are much more elaborate in their designs and generally frontier worlds further from the core tend to take a more desined/ stylised look to reflect their nature, whereas closer, more controllwed worlds use more minimal designs to reflect the cleanness of their cities and organisation of colonies.
here is a good resource when picking out typefaces that you may want to use
http://www.dafont.com/new.php
Yeah, I like using that place a lot. I actually got the one used in those pictures there, it's called Franchise Free.
