Mroe to the point; how did they get back? Honestly have no idea. Do we not even have a small explanation?
though their version of armour was experimental in the first place so it may be they already had similar/ superior upgrades to the ones utilised by Blue Team. I guess that's possible, seems unlikely, but okay.
Nope. They literally just showed up, last time we saw them they were facing a Covenant army on a line installation, next time they're on a mission to Installation 03.
I'm hoping we get an explanation for this in one of the upcoming novels, maybe Last Light, which we know nothing about.
Last Light? Never heard of that one being announced.
Hunters in the Dark, Saint's Testimony, Last Light and Shadow of Intent all coming this year.
June, July, October and December, IIRC. Frankie is writing#2 and Staten writing #4.
When were these ones even announced? This is the first I've heard of these.

do you consider an operating system to be alive? No, an AI is just a fancy computer program really.
An OS and a self aware AI capable of human things such as emotion and feelings are pretty different.
I know I'm massively oversimplifying it, but thats just how I view AI; equipment to be used.
So would you argue that that's what Spartans are? ( more specifically S-IIs & S-IIIS)
In what the UNSC/ ONI makes them for, yes. Basically emotionless meat robots that kill stuff. With what John is starting to do in H5G, no.

What should be the fate of SPARTAN-II teams Black, Red and Grey Team Black are already dead though, unless you're disregarding Escalation for the purpose of this.
More of a 'If you could decide' scenario. That question for some reason didn't do multiple choice correctly, you were supposed to be able to select multiple responses, same for a lot of them.

I always imagined the H2A armours to be MKVI rather than a GEN2. Speaking of which, H2A's GEN2 MKVI =/= H4's GEN2 MKVI.
I do remember reading from Catalog, now, that Blue team recieved similar upgrades to the ones got by John on their armour. Huh. Link or anything?

Query: In Halo: Escalation #8, Blue team is seen wearing MJOLNIR armour resembling the custom upgrades used by John-117. What is the reason for this change? Query Answer: Available information indicates [praetorian] Human [exploratii] units have priority access to incremental [combat skin] updates. Ah, okay. But now the questionis why didn't Team Black receive the upgrades?

Are Roland and Serina a Smart A.I.? They seem a bit dimwitted to be one.
However for a Cortana Smart model, probably. It thinks like a human, it's self aware and has "free will", unlike normal A.I.'s. Though, that's just if they were an everyday thing. If it's a military tool, they would be treated like such. Which then brings to the question, if Smart A.I.'s are not considered "people" due to them being military hardware, then why are Spartans (Spartan II's especially) considered "human"?
Then again, I guess they aren't (according to Halsey at least), so I dunno. If I had a Smart A.I. though I would treat it like a person.
They don't use Dumb AI on ships- a dumb AI is something like the Superintendant which does one job and one job alone and doesn't really have a personality. Even Deja counted as a dumb AI.

The fleet at Joyous Exaltation (Led by Imperial Admiral Xytan Jar 'Wattrinee, destroyed in 2552) how do you support a faction that's destroyed? lol
More about, if it were still around, would you support it more than any others.

http://goo.gl/forms/r0KtFIQm7RIs a link to a simple survey about the opinions of the community- IE this is simply opinions, not a quiz- on various factions and characters in the Halo lore, post-2553. There shouldn't be any major spoilers and all questions are multiple choice/ choosing from a list so it shouldn't take long. This is purely for my own interest, You should be able to view results at the end if you wish. Thanks for looking.

Fred, Kelly and Linda may be using GEN2 armour Besides that they obviously aren't. If Fred was wearing GEN2 he'd have the H2A GEN2 Centurion armour set.
Or it's another branch of the armour, similar to how MKV Scout and MKVI Scout look radiaclly different. That's not the same scenario though. MKV and MKVI Scout is a generational leap, which is why it has a different look.

Like differences cross-generation, as Spartan-II's that have been in service of the UNSc throughout the introduction of GEN2 and the Spartan branch, Fred, Kelly and Linda may be using GEN2 armour or specially requested upgrades. Or it's another branch of the armour, similar to how MKV Scout and MKVI Scout look radiaclly different.
I'd compare this to differences cross GEN1/ GEN2 between the Rogue and Scout variants. As for EVA? Likely custom upgrades- or blame Escalation art.

https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/blog-posts/canon-fauxder-believePROPHET OF SWAG Rising from humble beginnings as a lyrical scribe within the Ministry of Bling, San’Shyuum prodigy Craybae Can’Teven soon found himself elevated to the title Prophet of Swag. Free from the trappings of a far more basic political persuasion, the Prophet of Swag was able to leverage his station to build a vivacious and vocal following who hung on every wild-waddled word. Craybae underpinned his philosophies with ancient late-20th century manuscripts that he assumed were of Forerunner origin, which included such wisdom as “The rejected stone is now the cornerstone. Sort of like the Master Builder when I make my way home.” Craybae's lyrical anthology "Back for More" was considered an unrivaled artistic achievement amongst the creative elite. Yes. Yeeeeeeeeeeeessssss.

I dont know why no one else liked the Kilo 5 trilogy. ...just couldn't put those down, and the engineer love :3
*sips tea*
Because Karen Travis is a hackjob writer that disregards things that are in the series she's doing work on.
For Star Wars I love that she thinks the Clone Army had a total of 3million clones. That's not even enough to do a single planetary war. In WW2 the US estimated the invasion of Japan would have cost around 1million causalities. That number is just or our boys. So the number of troops sent there would be around 3 million.
I just pretend it's a typo and it was actually supposed to say 3 billion. Her books are good, but just shit at sticking to a pre-established canon. I would definetly pick up the first two K5 books if you want more info on how Jul 'Mdama and his Covenant got started up.

In multiplayer, I'm always playing for the objective or team benefit- it's why I like battlefield, because every gamemode is objective and I can still get a lot of points just by being support by dropping ammo, health (etc) and being a pretty good transport chopper pilot.
If you can have a god pilot in a transport who doesn't just use it for a fast travel and bail for a sniper point, you can rek in those things.

Also this is set two years before 343GS hijacks the UNSC Rubicon.
Wait...what?
Halo: Primordium. I wrote the basic up in my reply to Lord Rule.

I sure didn't.
The cast was funny.

Holy. Shit.
Are those fucking Blind Wolves?!?!?!?!
Looks more like raptors to me.
Sounds good. Can't wait to pick it up.
343GS hijacks the UNSC Rubicon. Also someone explain this? Is this something that happened in the comics?
Forerunner Trilogy spoilers the Forerunner trilogy (Cryptum, Primordium and Silentium) is told through the UNSC investigating Forerunner installations and the records they find there. In 2557, a scout group was sent to the Ark and found the remnants (Not physical, the AI essence) left of 343Guilty Spark. GS was actually a human alive in the time of the Forerunners and tells of the times he was aboard Omega Halo in Primordium, and takes control of the ship at the end of the book, claiming to know where the 'elusive lifeshaper' is and plans to find her. Note thatGS' personality was compartmenalised; he couldn't access his human memories until he was 'killed' by Jogn at the end of Halo 3. This book is set two years before that event. Also, this is a blind wolf, a creature planned to be in Halo 2 and Halo Wars but made neither cut.
Right....guess I forgot about that. Guess that's what I get for skimming through the forerunner trilogy instead of actually reading it
Primordium was the only book that I skipped. I read the first few and last chapter of it, which was the interesting stuff for me. Siletnium and Cryptum I rather enjoyed though.
