"Those constructs appear to be memetic in nature."
It's been three years and I still have no idea what the actual fuck this means.

Muse, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park - parents
Les Friction - heard a cool song in a video on YT. Asked the guy who made the video what the SMG was an I liked the rest of the band's content
Pendulum/ Prodigy - friend showed me both
The rest of the music I listen to is odd songs from a band I've heard from games or YT Or friends but not multiple songs. Or video game soundtracks, as well (They make good writing music)

I'd prefer a far cry style headhunter game.
At least then guns blazing is an option alongside stealth.

What if Halo 5 sucks ass?
The copyright for up to Halo 9 is bought.
I love Halo, but I don't know how I feel about that
As long as they keep the quality of story we've been getting so far, I'm happy.

If they don't release something in 2017, then congratulations. But I doubt it.
Halo 3 Anniversary.
It's inevitable.
If they rewrote the plot, or at least added more terminals to make the plot make sense and had blur cinematics done, I'd actually be okay with that.
They definitely won't rewrite the plot (sadly) if when it happens.
The leat they can do is add some more terminals, explaining what the fuck Truth was up to te entire time, or where Rally Point War was.
They'd probably flesh out Usze and N'tho tbh, it'd be nice to have them appear as allies at the canonical points (like I think Hunters in the Dark mentioned that they were present during the assault on the Citadel)
I wish that 4-player co-op was the canon version of Halo 3. I think they'd do well if they did multiple stories like H2A. A couple about N'tho and Usze, a couple about Truth's retardedness and maybe one for the Cortana Level just about Cortana on HC. Maybe an adaption of Human Weakness or something.

The copyright for up to Halo 9 is bought. And Halo 5 has already got an insane amount of pre orders. The implication that it's going to do terrible is laughable.

Just because something gets named, doesn't mean it's a massive thing.
The things of note in that room are the eye of a War Sphinx and the theory that a Halo's activation index has secondary and teriary purposes.

They've already got the story planned for another 20 years, this doesn't surprise me at all.

Good. Once we finally drop the last gen, devs can make their games without having those limits in mind.
I mean. It's rampant in Battlefield 4. Originally, the riot shield was going to equip on and protect the player's back when not in use, and allow the player to use a sidearm when in use. Two features dropped because the 360 and ps3 can't handle it.
mw2 did that
MW2 didn't have 64 players on a server with dozens of explosions and other high-strain processes running at any one time.
He was talking about the Riot Shield blocking bullets while it was on people's backs because in MW2 it did that
I know. But MW2 didn't have anything on the scale of BF4 - apparently the 7th gen simply can't handle to have that feature alongside everything else that's going on. I can kind of believe that, based off of personal experience.

So. Were these colonies like the size of how our colony on mars is going to be in a couple decades, or full on terraformed and habitable with trade routes and shit?
Because if it's the latter, I don't see why they couldn't just move the population.

So. Serious question, because it just sprung to mind now.
Is it a serious possibility that China and Russia could ally in the next few years?

Seriously. They have huge-ass spaceships and shit, why didn't they have a network of planetary colonies or space-borne habitats to house a good amount of the species even before they got roflstomp'd?
Why did they waste their super cool spaceship on prisoners instead of just letting them die?
Serious question

The Blue Team Intro video was actually good. No extremely over the top crap like Osiris had. It's like they are trying to push Osiris as being cool, like they did Palmer in Halo 4.
Or, they're trying to show the difference between the cold and efficient SPARTAN-II's and the flashy, show-off SPARTAN-IVs. Y'know, to show there is a difference in how the two operate.

Does someone want to summarize Hunt the Truth for me since I'm too lazy to listen.
The episode or the series?
Series
In late 2557, the journalist Benjamin Giraud (who previously appeared in the Halo Graphic Novel) is hired by ONI to do a story on the Master Chief. At first, things go as expected an he begins building a good story. However, when he eventually manages to interview Ellie, one of John's childhood friends (the girl from the starry night trailer), she tells him a lot o information that conflicts everything he's been told. He digs deeper, soon finding several documents that support Ellie's claim. He goes back to one of his previous sources and pressures him to admitting he lied about John, with the source eventually cracking. Shortly after, he gets called to ONI's Earth facility in Boston (The one from ILoveBees), fearing the worst. He calls one of his friends, Petra (Halo Escalation an First Strike Adjuncts) and hands her his documents so she can continue the story if he is taken. When he gets to the base, he meets his handler, Michael Sullivan (The guy who escaped Circinius with Lasky in Foreard Unto Dawn) . He is instead given something different; an interview with Franklin Mendez (Who trained the Spartan II and III trainees) but is never given any details about spartan. When he returns home, he is seated on the same shuttle as someone who he interviewed before, and proceeds to ask some more questions. Eventually, Ben is put under when he refuses to sit down on the flight, and wakes up in a spaceport with a hefty fine, and the recording his datapad made while he was out - the interviewee is a lot more sinister, and mentions he was hired by ONI when he doesn't realise he is still being recorded. Ben is then contacted by an insurrectionist, codenamed FERO. She proceeds to advise Ben on what to do after he eventually directly defies ONI and gives him funding. His next step - UEG and ONI are meeting now that his story is making waves throughout the colonies. He hacks the video feed, and tells them everything he knows about spartan-II. When he is cut off, he goes into hiding, with FERO killing two agents in his apartment. In hiding, he becomes extremely paranoid until Petra contacts him again with something for him; on a glassed planet (I can't recall which), there is something for him. It turns out to be an underground ONI base that survived the glassing, and he is able to pull dozens of documents from the server; SPARTAN augmentation and selection details, the recorded rehearsal sessions from his ONI-approved sources. He secures a seat on a massive Talk show, and proceeds to expose everything about SPARTAN. This turns against him; his documents are registered to be faked and he is accused of being a liar to gain attention, before being dragged off stage. The crucial thing is that throughout the series, the situation in the colonies only gets worse. Entire planets are disappearing under mysterious circumstances, the story of Ben has begun massive scale rioting and breakdown o law and order and potentially the beginning of a new insurrection. A human-Sangheili peace talk on Biko is interrupted by John, with him executing all of the human guards and later leaving the human ambassador dead and the Sangheili extracted and ONI is shutting down all communication between the outer colonies. It calms down at the end, but the situation is still tense.

Dunno, I think he made his own cases for XB1. I just chose that picture because I liked it, though I wish there were a more up to date one on google. My own collection has many, many more books. Because that picture is a couple years old.
