Most of those are made by ONI REAP-X, an ONI R&D team given pretty much any finding and resource they require. The vehicles themselves are canon, but MB are given a lot of leeway in their designs. So the general designs are canon, but not definitive.
The AV-30 Kestrel is actually a vehicle cut from Halo 2 and later reintroduced in Spartan Strike. It's the UNSC's answer to the Ghost.

I suppose some would consider that I spend my spare time writing science fiction to be embarrassing.
But said people are not the types of people I associate with anyhow, so whatever.

What exactly is The Sprint?
It's what 343 do instead of ViDocs. About developing various game aspects. It's named the sprint because they dial development into two week blocks called sprints. Though I secretly hope it's also a taunt at the hardcore halo 2 fans who think change is unacceptable.

For the second time today, I ask: what's the point in playing if there's no risk involved? Why play through the game just to breeze through it with no opposition?*
*unless you've already seen everything and are just replaying it on super easy mode for shits and giggles
to role-play If you want to RP as a Brotherhood/ Enclave member, you'd probably want power armour and a gat. laser. oh
hahaha

i mean he's gonna have to try harder than that, then, because there's no reason why i'd want to have the "best armor" at the beginning of the game anyway, even if he was being serious
like atticus said--i never actually take advice unless i ask for it
oh The armour he's referring to does exist, but it's a DLC-only item. The area he was referring to was.... high level, to put it lightly. So was mine.

If you go to vault 87 on the left side of the map, you get the best gun in the game. It's a mini gun that locks on to enemies and fires explosive rounds, it's super easy to get.

The NCR won't be in fallout 4. They're on the opposite side of the country.
Riot gear could, though.

The fact that both anything in Halo is able to do interstellar travel on it's own is a massive advantage. ME sucks without the relays, they have no mobility.

What kinda Didact are we looking at here? Gamedidact, bookdidact, or wantasticdidact?
Because gamedidact gets chewed up. The only thing he's really got is his brain shut off-er force-lite thing. Bookdidact would do a helluva job till about Primarch level entities. Wanktastic Didact destroys tons of shyt, because his feats are stretched to the extremes.
Put book or wanky didact in a War Sphinx and things get stompier in favor of the dildact.
Forerunner Ecumene, with it's book! feats destroys the Imperium of Man. Too many things stack against the Imperium. Like automated fleets, super super AI, Onyx Sentinels (GG), and giant hoolahoops that scale from giant hula-hoop that kills the planet it aims at to lol-fuck-the-galaxy.
Not to mention super FTL that doesn't try to murder you when you use it.
Gamedidact severely underestimated John, though. He thought he was just some random guy and wasn't much of a threat, so never put some serious effort into killing him. Even then, he was only stopped because Cortana used his own ship against him. He pretty much roflstomped Chief up to that point.
Very true. You also have to consider that the Ur-Didact is also fucking insane. And even be put a life extending ball for 100,000 years, he was still capable of single-handedly manning the Mantle's Approach (ala High Charity-Sized [big I think] mega ship) and utilizing the composer.
He's a nasty bugger. I hope Halo 5 gives a better representation of forerunner power though.
MA is slightly bigger than Charity.
But yeah, 50 years of Gravemind mind rape, then 100,000 years of isolation isn't healthy.
Considering the guardians are fucking up entire star systems merely by activating (Before we even see what they're actually supposed to do), halo 5 is certainly going for a much more book accurate forerunner.
Maybe they'll bring up the Forerunner's "Our engines eat infant universes." thing too
We've seen that (to a limited extent) in Last Light.

The covenant curbstomp a anything in ME. The UNSC slightly less curbstomps.
The forerunners, flood, ancient humanity or precursors is basically the boot to the anthill.
The only advantage mass effect has is numbers, but one UNSC AI (much less a forerunner) could pretty much hack the entire Geth collective and lose ME it's only advantage.

Marine can't defeat didact.
Marines fight Psykers far worse than anything the Didact has at his disposal regularly. The tyranids make the flood look cute. The most advanced forerunner weaponry is infantile compared to Eldar guns.
The didact can do what exactly? Use the force? Talk menacingly?
Oh no, whatever will the space marines do against such a horrific foe.
Dildact has adaptive armour. If it doesn't kill him his armour modifies itself to adapt to anything thrown at him. And he's apparently not easy to kill.
It's gravity manipulation actually, which can be a real bitch when turned up to 11.
Dildact can actually afford to give speeches since he's so casually consistent about not giving a fuck in combat.
I'm reasonably certain one of the following would be enough on it's own, but in conjunction would be GG no re. Lascannon, Plasma cannon, Heavy Bolter, Multi-Melta (This especially, that sucker will turn the heaviest tank into a pool of molten metal in seconds) or just the plain old Godwyn Bolter would probably do the trick.
It's reasonably similar to some of the shit farseers pull with the warp, but without the chance for daemons to come skreeing out of thin air in the process. There is a nice little intro cinematic to DOW:II that shows what happened to the farseer anyway e.e
The other thing that the marines are good at is just pulping someone who stands their talking rather than fighting >_> See the entire campaign of every dawn of war game ever. lol
Forerunner combat skins are retarded strong, I doubt that Space Marine standard would put a dent into the Didact's shields and armor. It would take a Power Sword or Power Hammer to smash.
Well a powersword isn't all that uncommon for marines <_<
Most veteran sergeants and above would have one, unless they prefer a chainsword for the gore factor.
Basically any power weapon would work because of the weird forcefield shit they wrap around the blade. A normal human with a powerfist can carve through tank armour like it's butter, so a spehss mehren with one of them would do him in <_<
That is if the Marine is fast enough, the Didact well can fly by manipulating the gravity around his body. He can also manipulate the gravity around the bodies of others, and could easily flip or throw the marine away from any battle zone. He doesn't need to face the slightly superior Space Marine to win, he just needs to play it smart. If the Didact wanted to Hulk Smash Space Marines he would need his War Sphinx which can destroy continents.
To pick someone on par with the didact in the respective universes (as in, position/power etc) you'd be looking at a chapter master.
Some of the chapter masters are bordering on primarch levels of badassery, even the smurfs CM has done some ridiculous feats (Like holding an entire pass against an oncoming ork army singlehandedly for about two days of solid fighting)
So going by any of the big named CMs
Dante, Angelos, Calgar, Helbrecht, Azrael, Kantor, Seth, Draigo*, Severax, Tu'Shan and mothafuckin-Logan Grimnar.
Pretty much any of these guys, who are standard space marine biology unlike primarch but just BAMFs to a man could drub the didact around the room with ease.
So in a 1v1 rust noscopes only with any of these, he'd lose. He'd have a chance against a foddermarine, struggle against a well organised tactical squad and be GGing against terminators <_<
As for a war sphinx, an imperator titan or even a reaver could probably fuck it up without much bother. It'd be doing well to strip the void shields off one let alone damage it <_<
If all else failed though, and they really didn't want him escaping a planet after miraculously beating errbody. They'd just roll out the nova cannon, which is the kind of planetary system ending allahuakbar that osama can only dream of.
40k never gets beaten at the over powered game <_<
Seekers, the newer super War Sphinx, are like better. So basically, the entire Forerunner military would be necessary to defeat the Empire of Man.
Given that the forerunners lost to the flood or their own arrogance/stupidity.
Even if they came back better than ever, they are still gonna get bitchmade by most of the 40k stuff out there.
'There is always a bigger fish'
and that fish is 40k
e.e
The forerunners were still reeling from fighting another war that had drained a lot of their military. That, and the politics of the species wanting to preserve the flood and treat it as any other life form put them at a disadvantage. If they had been at full strength (and not arguing about destroy vs. preserve them), they would have roflstomped the flood before it could gain a foothold.

I'm waiting til I play the game before judging the system.
I don't feel I have enough information to make an informed opinion.
The only thing I kind of agree with is the no weapon degradation thing. Sad it's gone, but it was pretty much a non-issue anyway.

Wow! That's pretty awesome man!
This reminds me of this map and gamemode I had in Reach called Battleship Blockade.
Fucking hell that was great. I loved that gametype. If the missile hogs were in this (and a bigger item allowance), I'd have made a version of that for sure.

Halo 2 anniversary's forge kinda repelled me after I began to switch between monitor and human to test the map. The time required to switch becomes ridiculous.
Main thing that repelled me was that the textures for the space map are stone. Shit on halo 4's textures, but at least the space textures look like a spaceship. Not stone blocks. Which is annoying because I wanted to create a cool SWBF banshee battle but no dice. Plus no one plays MCC.

Turn it into an infection map.

Wall coliseums rape framerate FYI
I would have never guessed that from having spent over six hours in the forge session.
