In a lot of cases it's probably like that. To the people I do talk to I'm more invested as I get to know them, naturally.
But I notice when certain names don't come on so often anymore. I know that generally most everybody here has something that's not going right in their life. So I start to worry if I don't see certain names showing up.
You might not be as invested here because you have a social life and other things to occupy your time. I don't.
I'm sory if I scared you when i dissappeared for a couple months.

I cant for the life of me beat a halo game on legendary, I suck at the fps gene too much.
The closest I got was the last level on reach .
I've done Halo CE 2 (soon to be 3) times, H2/ Reach/ Wars once and H3/4 twice. I've nearly done ODST twice but i gave up on the last mission on MCC when Buck insisted on riding shotgun instead of using that nice big turret on the back of the vehicle. I'll go back to it after CE, but I'm currently on AOTCR and I want the Legend achievement before next tuesday so I can have Helioskrill armour :3 I'm a sucker for hardest difficulty. Done a run through of Fallout 3/ Vegas on V. Hard, BF3 on Hard, BF4 on Hard twice (X360 and X1) and Far Cry 3 a couple times on Hard. I want to do ME on Insanity but I suck at third person, and I'm lending skyrim to a friend so I can't do that either

Maybe it's because I play a lot more old games, or rather, I don't really play many games at all any more, but still, attention to detail isn't something I usually slack in...
I got back from running. Great thing not running in the cold for about a year. I feel like someone punched me in my delicious stomach. God screw the cold. So hard to run in.

It's a difference in reactivity. In a twitch shooter like battlefield, having fast reflexes is key and higher frame rates make you more responsive. It's very much a "you won't miss it until it's gone" situation.
