Don't know if someone has said this already, but I doubt Cortana was "cured" of her rampancy. More like halted it.
The stuff she did was very rampancy-ish.
She exhibits all the signs of rampancy we know about. If anything, access to the domain has made it worse, if not affected it at all.

Something I need a lore expert to explain, which I still haven't found an answer for online. How is the Domain still functioning? It should have been destroyed with the Halos, as described in Silentium. Unless they reconnected that. Which means that the Didact going insane inside his Cryptum would also not be true...arghh. So many plot holes...I want it to make sense.
It was always implied it survived, but severely 'injured'. Reduced to a nonfunctioning state but slowly healing itself.

Scientific and historical accuracy in films, tv and games. With an already shit season of doctor who, seeing vikings with horned helmets was enough to make me stop watching two minutes into the episode and I haven't actually seen any of the series since.
Of course, alt histories (Ex. Wolfenstein NO) or just weird science (Fallout) doesn't really rile me up in the same way as in something trying to be serious.
I feel ya, man. Vikings with horns, two handed swords in the early middle ages, no color anywhere, castles built randomly next to a forrest... STUDDED LEATHER ARMOR eugh...those silly leather bracelets that everyone wears in Gladiator movies because ",oh, well that's a roman accessory. They don't look roman without it", torches everywhere and burning outside in the daylight...
Spartans not wearing any armour on their chests bugs me. I guess you can blame 300 for hat one. Oh yeah, heavy armour for seafaring soldiers. I guess no one likes the fact that steel plate on a boat is basically a death sentence if you get thrown over board...
