Anybody else wish the campign was just focused on Locke's group and the MC is just seen in cutscenes? For myself I enjoy his members a lot more than Johns due to them being more fun to be with.
No, I completely agree. I vastly prefer Osiris to Blue Team. They all have varied backgrounds and their inter-squad chatter is a lot better than Blue Team's. Granted, I may be biased in favour of Buck, Vale and Tanaka because books but still. I like Blue Team but they aren't all that interesting.

This is one of those things I can't explain how I fell that great but like you said Blue Team is boring to be with. Locke's team to me is like the commandos in Star Wars RC. Locke is exactly the leader commando and Buck is the black and white one who is the joker of the group. To me with Blue Team there is no humanness to them to relate to and to get attached to. The only thing they have going for them is that the MC we played as since the start and the others are just characters in books. There is nothing game wise for me that makes playing with them fun. For Halo 6 I'm hoping they just write off the Chief and have a character that isn't a wet blanket.
The thing is, Blue Team is awesome in the books. When you can get across how they can notice the slightest movements and gestures amd how effectively they work as a team, they are awesome. When they have shit ai and barebones dialogue (And no helmet removal), it takes some of that off. Osiris had a lot of banter in the squad, like when stickibg in an area for a while, and it makes them feel much more like characters.

Kinda hard to make proffessional killing machines interesting. The only nice dynamic Blue has going on for them is the whole silent family kind of deal. Their bond goes beyond words essentially.
Which, sadly, is hard to translate outside of speech.
It works well in the books, yes. But in game, they're bland. I like that they stuck to the books, of course, but it made me realise I find them kind of boring.

All of Blue Team and Osiris armour (Aside from John's campaign MKVI, which isn't useable) is only unlockable through REQ packs. They're of Mythc rarity though. For context, 8 people have unlocked the mythic Prophet's Bane sword, and about 100 people have each unlocked the Oathsworn shotgun and Nornfang sniper rifle, the weapons used by Kelly and Linda, respectively.
So yeah, you won't be getting them any time soon.
No, that was the amount of times those weapons have been used in Warzone. Many more people may have those req cards, but they're hoarding them due to their rarity.
My bad. However, only about 100 people have Tanaka's Technician armour or Buck's helmet. That's still incredibly rare.

The only book I have written by a women is some shitty science fiction romance* novel where the author could even understand basic physics. And while I have nothing against female authors, it's just that most don't write hard sci-fi or (good) fantasy novels, which makes up most of my reading interests.
*It was a gift.
That's pretty much my stance. Karen Traviss is okay until you realise she doesn't research lore for any existing series' she's writinf for like Halo or Star Wars (She thought there were only 3 million clones in the GAR).
