No. The resulting nuclear fallout of a modern-day nuclear weapon would only come back to haunt us later when refugees and animals and dust particles are crossing borders while irradiated. You do not want radioactive particles moving around like that.

Because screenshotting on XB1, then going on my computer to download the image from XboxDVR and reupload to imgur (the site won't display linked images) to put here is a lot slower than going on my phone camera.

Food doesn't grow from oil
Oil drives the machinery used to make food, and would be a valued commodity in an oil-scarce world. Anyone willing to pay for it could use it to cook, heat, light and so forth. It would be far more benefitial to use the oil to make your overall life better for the long term than waste it for no reason.
