What other books have you read?
I'm still on storm of swords.
All the Halo stuff (Minus Shadow of Intent, because I guess 343 doesn't like releasing their books in the UK), Star Wars Republic Commando, World War Z, the two Elder Scrolls novels and a bunch of other smaller scifi series that I don't know if anyone here would have heard of.

...what?
There's seven books in the Song of Ice and Fire series; A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords I and II, A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons I and II. I've finished the series now and I don't have any books to read.

Just finished the seventh (Or fifth, depending on your perspective) A Song of Ice and Fire novel, thus ending a series that took me the better part of a year to read (until Winds of Winter comes out). Overall, I really enjoyed the series, it's probably my favourite book series (But I haven't read that many series', mostly individual books) right now.
Any recommendations for books to read now?

When I used to play with my pals in Halo Wars, we'd all pick captain cutter, upgrade our MACs to maximum firing power, and then pick a lucky contestant on the enemy team to get orbital bukkake'd by 12 mac rounds.
Those were good times.
So.... you looking forward to backwards compatibility?

For someone who hasn't played fallout, is it better to start with 3 or NV?
start with 3, then go to NV. You'll appreciate the many changes made between games more if you go that way.
Also, get the DLC.
getting it's not the hard part
it's letting go
I love Dead Money <3

Muslims working together with British people.
British people are muslims though

I love New Vegas. Probably one of my favourite games of all time. I wish bethesda cpuld combine their map building/gameplay with obsidian's writing to make the 10/10 fallout experience.

Warden Eternal was tougher than I expected. Took me quite a few tries to kill him. Campaign has been pretty good so far.
A B C, Flee's gonna learn how to count to three.
Yeah, I know what's coming up. I wasn't expecting to get an Xbox One or Halo 5 anywhere near as soon as I did, so I read through some of the threads on the game. I'm just going to assume that there's a way around the fight or that it takes place in an area that allows you to fight them more effectively than in this mission.
There's a handy little trick to skip that fight with a well placed spartan charge. Worls wonders on legendary.

Seriously.
I'm platinum mad at how shit the wraith is.
I have so many
And I haven't used them
You're not even missing anything dude. The wraith is basically a giant "highjack me" brick. I don't know what 343 did to the mortar, but it's so damn awkward to aim the arc now. The firing reticule is just dopey and the mortar itself travels about as far as a deflated balloon.
Which means in order to do any really good damage to people or actually land your hits, you need to get in close. Which, frankly, is a death sentence because
A) Vehicles are made of paper, so rather than use them like an engine of destruction you have to treat them like sniper rifles and stay at the back of the map
B) The wraith's mortar recharges slightly faster than a cellphone hooked up to a potato
C) Has wide highjack angles, terriblely slow mobility, and is limited only to front facing targets. Once again, the scorpion is better in every single respect.
Maybe the upgraded wraiths are better. But so far, the default standard is a laughable hunk of shit.
I've been using wraiths alright. But the disadvantage is offset by the fact they don't cost as much to bring out as a tank. I find it ridiculous that the UNSC still have an inability to give machine guns to their drivers. Or that my spartan doesn't want to leave his vehicle when someone is on the back of the tank.

The typical glitches you get in any Bethesda game. NPCs floating in the air, physics spazzing out and launching things into space, ragdoll meshes messing up and stretching across the map
Y'know, the usual stuff.

Ugh
It's still not available in the uk
This happened with new blood and saints testimony, too
343 needs to get their shit together if they insist on these stupid digital releases and realise there are people outside america who woud like to read the books, too.
