So what are supply routes between settlements supposed to do?

I read they're supposed to let you share settlement inventories but I tested that by setting a supply route between two settlements and putting a T-45 helmet in one settlement's workshop but it didn't appear in the other.

What am I doing wrong?
It only shares the inventory of the other settlement when you're building, apparently

So I can't use it to transfer all my shit across the map like the mjoave express in NV but I can access the stuff for building?

That's... weird.

I need to rewatch that show at some point. Though it really went downhill after season 3.

Gaming / Star Wars 1313 might not be dead
« on: December 13, 2015, 07:24:49 AM »
http://www.geek.com/games/infamous-canceled-star-wars-1313-may-not-be-dead-after-all-1641910/

Quote
A long time ago in Los Angeles (which is not so far, far away), the world was shown its first glimpse of Star Wars 1313. This was back in 2012, when we were getting our first real taste of what “next-gen” gaming would be about, and this one was of the titles that got people (including myself) insanely excited. But alas, there was a great disturbance in the Force. A million voices cried out in terror when it was announced just a year later that Star Wars 1313 would be cancelled, or at least put frozen in carbonite, after Disney bought out Lucasfilm and either cancelled or suspended any of the then in-development projects, including Star Wars 1313.
However, it seems that all hope is not lost and we may yet see the return of this now legendary title. In an interview with SlashFilm, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said that they are looking to “explore” some of these old Lucasfilm ideas, including 1313 and the Star Wars live-action series.
“We don’t want to throw any of that stuff away,” said Kennedy to Slashfilm. “It’s gold. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to.”

While this isn’t a full-on confirmation that we’re getting the same 1313 shown in 2012, it does at least give us the sense that we could see something similar to it in the future. Currently, EA has the licensing rights to produce Star Wars video games, so if anyone would be able to resurrect this IP, it’d be them. People love the recently released Star Wars Battlefront, and are excited for the upcoming Star Wars game which will be overseen by former former Uncharted director-writer Amy Hennig. Adding Star Wars 1313 to that list would be a no-brainer.
As a guy who salivated over the Star Wars 1313 trailers and concept art, I’m very excited over the prospect of getting this game in one form or another. I’m not expecting a complete replica of the original project since it will most likely use EA’s Frostbite Engine and not the proprietary one created for the original 1313. Not to mention that most of the original development staff may not even be involved in this project. However, the prospect of playing a Star Wars game set in the seediest parts of Coruscant where I get to play as a bounty hunter who has to rely on weapons and gadgets instead of Force powers is something that is irresistible.

TL;DR lucasfilm president mentioned 1313 as a project they're still looking at ideas like 1313 and discussing using them and developing them further

I really hope this turns into something. I was looking forward to this game, and I'm hoping we get to see something come of it again.

Fun fact: Marvel's writers are shit and they've done nothing but leave shits on Halo's lore as long as they've been involved

Bloodline, Helljumper and Uprising were all fantastic. I have no idea what you're on about.

You know, actually, that's true. Apparently I was an accident. There was never supposed to be a second kid after the first one came along.

I bet he really regretted it the most, when he went and punched my mother out, thus ending their relationship for good.

But not the stream of child support money, of course. That one probably burned him for a while, I'd think.

They gave battlefront an 8/10 which is BS but they did at least point out the lack of content.
So they aren't completely shilling.
An 8/10 is still too high for Battlefront. It deserves no higher than a 4/10.

That's for the sound and graphical design.

I enjoy the books but the Daenerys and Dorne-related chapters were just

Daenerys stuff only gets good when the Yunkish and their sellswords start the siege of mereen, along with Aegon Targaryen, Victarion and Quentyn all attempting to race to be the first to get Daenerys (Well, her Dragons, anyway) on their side. Particularly now she's stranded in the Great Grass Sea, in the clutches of a Dothraki horde.

No...There's almost no sex in the books whatsoever, and none of it is grisly.
Cool. Now tell this to the thirty or so people that have told me otherwise.

They probably haven't read it and are just espousing what others have said.

There are sex scenes, but it's mostly a few sentences of foreplay and then a transition to a later scene.

To add to this, I'd only really call one scene in the series grisly ('Arya Stark' at Winterfell), and even then, most (all) of what happens is implied rather than told.

If anything, I'd call scenes like Biter eating brienne, quentyn deciding to play with dragons and the descriptions of theon's torture to be much more harrowing than any of the sex scenes. Aside from the aforementioned.

Quentyn and the dragons...I had to re-read that bit because I couldn't believe it had happened.

Yeah. After the importance that had been placed on Dorne uniting with the Targaryens, it seemed really out of the blue that Viserion would just kill Quentyn like that. I want to say it was the only time it ever felt out of the blue in the series, but I watched the show first so I knew about stuff like the Red Wedding and Tyrion's crossbow skills beforehand.

You should look into some of the theories that have come up, they're really fucking in depth and some of them are probably true.

I've been looking at a bunch. Ehat interests me most right now is the continent of Sorthoryos. Fuckin' raptors, man.

...what?

There's seven books in the Song of Ice and Fire series; A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords I and II, A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons I and II. I've finished the series now and I don't have any books to read.

There's five...two were sold in two parts in some places, but it's still a single novel.

Anyways, have you read The Name of the Wind? It's fucking incredible.

I know. I say seven because they're separate physical books, though. Eh, Semantics.

Never heard of it. What's it about?

A seemingly generic (but actually detailed and unique) fantasy adventure with a very detailed system of magic and unbelievably good writing.

There are currently two books, with the last in the trilogy coming out next year.

I'll have a look into it. I'm planning on trying Fellowship of the Ring again at some point. I gave upon it before because I got bored reading it.

Yes. A Storm of Swords and Dance With Dragons were split into two books each because of their length.
I didn't even know they split them. Now I gotta go out and buy them to complete my collection.

You didn't read just ASoS part I and ADwD part I did you? I'd imagine you'd have been pretty confused if that was the case

When I used to play with my pals in Halo Wars, we'd all pick captain cutter, upgrade our MACs to maximum firing power, and then pick a lucky contestant on the enemy team to get orbital bukkake'd by 12 mac rounds.

Those were good times.

So.... you looking forward to backwards compatibility?

Assuming anybody still plays Halo Wars. Maybe.

I'm hoping there'll be more people returning to it when it comes to XB1, especially as Halo Wars 2 begins to loom on the horizon.

Does you remember MAC rushers?

Never experienced that. 90% of my HW experience has been sparta/ scorpion rush
