The exclusive titles for each platform are both as exciting as each other.

All hail multiplatform releases.

Also, the legendary ending. What does it mean?
Cortana has control of a Ring. Pretty clear.
Now here's the real question:
Can she activate the ring? You need a reclaimed, and she considers herself to be one, going as far as saying it was the Librarian's intent, but how true is that? Could her apparent control over the Domain let her activate the ring regardless?

000 Tragic Solitude (Monitor of Installation 00) was able to remotely activate the entire array in 2555 (Hunters in the Dark), so there's definite basis that Cortana will be able to activate it.
I was under the impression he still needed a human to do that, which is why he took Broadside One

Maybe. But I can't see Broadside One activating the Halo array, presuming he knew what it would do.

But it does make more sense, truth be told, I'd repressed the entire ordeal involving BS1. It ruined what had otherwise been an amazing book.
Could be an instance where he was forced to activate it, kinda like Johnson.

He totally exists because they needed to convince people that Vale can be a Spartan.

Maybe. I suppose he was pretty messed up by the time Vale and Co. found him, so he would've been easily manipulated. Even so, 000 was able to use the tusk creature things to make Vale docile, so I imagine it could have had a similar effect on Broadside.

000 Tragic Solitude (Monitor of Installation 00) was able to remotely activate the entire array in 2555 (Hunters in the Dark), so there's definite basis that Cortana will be able to activate it. After all, in her eyes, Artificial Intelligences are the true Reclaimers, so there could potentially be a loophole there.

Remember, 343GS wouldn't activate the ring because his programming dictated a human or forerunner needs be present. Cortana isn't bound by those restrictions, and I think it's safe to assume she still has Installation 04's activation index.

So... there's definite basis for Cortana and the Warden being able to activate the array. Whether they'll do it or not is another question.

The game is real simple if you allow it to be. Get good weapons, fuck jobs, hunt through space for the biggest low risk bounties you can find (na-na-navigation beacons motherfucker) and gradually buy better ships/modules. Right now I have an Eagle worth about 250,000CR and 180,000CR in the bank, from approximately a week of play-and that included a day where I tried to become a miner after four days previously of being destroyed in my shitty old sidewinder.

Also, don't die. And once you've ranked up join the federation, that is if you ever want to see Sol.

I'm currently making my way over to Tau Ceti right now, doing trade jobs to make money on the way there. Trading astrodata every so often,,too.

From there,,I'll probably start trying to become friends with the Feds before heading over to either the nearest black hole or the nearest pulsar for some fun times.

Also I want to go to Saggitarius A at some point. Fuck the collectors.

The Flood / Re: How do you treat technology?
« on: January 03, 2016, 05:31:00 PM »
I treat all my stuff with care. Besides when needing to dispose of a hard drive, then out comes the shovel.

Other than that, the only thing I ever break is headphones. And I have no idea why. My last headset died because I kept picking it up by the wire but apart from that, all my earphones just randomly die on me for no apparent reason.

I tend to skip it whenever it comes up. It's the main reason I choose to save Jason's friends in FC3.

I mean, I love the ASOIAF novels but fucking hell, I just skip those scenes. Blegh.

That said, if it's optional/ skippable, I don't really care.

You bought a game that is insanely short on content and needs more. I'm sorry.

Once the "newness" fades away, you realize just how shallow it really can be. Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous and exploring is fun, and it nails that "in space" perfectly to me. But once you get past that, it doesn't really have enough to draw you back in.

Even with the new expansion, it's still in beta form and apparently very buggy.

Honestly, I bought it so I could explore space. Everything else is a bonus.

It was only £22, so it's worth it for me.

I am loving this so far

I have no idea what I'm doing, of course, but I've got flying and basic combat down just from trial and error in the training missions. Exploring space is so fun, especially for me being someone who loves space and astrophysics as a subject. I wish I had infinite fuel; I want to go to Sagittarius A*.

Fruit you shouldn't be watching nudity. You're too pure and innocent.
I mean I skip the scenes, but I'm just explaining that they're not there for the sake of it
Why do you skip the scenes? Because they make you feel uncomfortable? Why do they make you feel uncomfortable? Are you saying you find sex uncomfortable and yet you DON'T find people being burned alive and hung from trees disturbing?

Just applying your same logic to you.

I skip sex scenes but am fine watching gore.

I was reading an interview with him (Adam Driver) in Empire. He used to be in the marines until he got kicked out after he broke his back.

Anyway, I liked him. The whole point of him is tp be a winy vader wannabe. Plus it leaves some room for growth as a character, obvious redemption arc aside.

So why is the story so bad? It's pretty disappointing with the whole manhunt thing and the predictable ending, but I can't say I thought it was downright awful. I have to admit that I know little about Halo's lore, so I can't comment on how accurate it is or anything like that. Story isn't great, but I was expecting much worse after how much criticism it's gotten.

Also, the legendary ending. What does it mean?

After a myriad of books and the entire advertising campaign revolving around TR-8R, it was more than disappointing. For many, this is another straw on the camel's back, so to speak, after some pretty awful comics and other bits by this writer. On top of all that, Halo 4's story was arguably the best the franchise has seen, so expectations were high going from there.

If you're only into the games, there's not really much to complain about. For the bigger lore fans, Halo 5 was generally bad at best, especially with it's predecessor and supporting material (The recent books have been fantastic at (re)introducing characters. Halo 5 did not do any of them justice.)

I could go more in depth if you want.

Well, actually you can legally drink alcohol at the age of 16 if your parents are present and they give permission, both in a public place like a restaurant or at home.

It's 18 to buy though.

For me, I'm more happy that on my 18th, I'll be able to buy 18 rated games and dvds in a store.

I buy a lot of pre owned stuff, so it's useful.
People actually follow the PEGI and BBFC ratings?

I was denied entry to a 15 rated film when I was 17 because I look like a young'un

Ordering takes time to arrive. I walk through town almost every day.
