Remember when 343 said microtransactions would fund new content being added to the game? That was such a funny fucking joke.
Actually, I don't remember that at all. To my knowledge, they only claimed the microtransactions would be used to help support the HWC.
It was also supposed to fund new "free" updates, because we aren't paying for new shit via a season pass.

I start at 9 but get up at 6:30 to catch the 7:30 bus to get there at 8:05.
Once-an-hour buses are fun.

>People in this thread calling Halo 1 the worst game.
Absolutely HaLol
OT: Destiny.
We're saying what we felt was the worst game. I had absolutely no fun playing Halo 1, or the remake it got later (which gave people headaches). I only played it for the sake of doing all the Halo games. At least Destiny's gunplay is solid and enjoyable. Halo 1's is most certainly not.
Sorry you felt that way.
I'm not. I enjoyed every Halo's story I played after. I just hate Halo 1's bland gunplay and even worse, the ever repetitive and bland levels.
Are you saying you don't want to play the same levels you've already played but backwards? Anyway, I like Metro but trying to play 2033 without switching the language of the game to russian and adding english subtitles is an awful affair. Fun game, but the english voice actors were so bad. Star Wars Episode III video game comes to mind, too. Honestly, I rarely finish games I don't enjoy.

Right now are there any redeeming factors to Halo 5 that would make me want to keep it? I'm thinking about trading it in along with ESO for Mad Max.
I'm thinking of trading it because I won't be installing it again. Mad Max looks really fun, and I've been wanting to play it after watching FR recently..
I ended up doing the deed yesterday and I have no regrets. I don't see the point of keeping a game which I haven't been playing for months due to the lack of content(Which I don't see changing anytime soon.) and the camping which I find to be a one time thing. 343 could have used the power of the Xbone to make the levels much larger and open, but instead we are still basically playing the same type of level design since Halo CE. God forbid we have vehicle levels that are something like the massive assault we see in Tip of The Spear's background and some space ones like in the Reach campaign beta video.
The Power of The Xbox One™ But yeah. If it were fairly small, I'd have probably kept it. But fuvking 70gb for a game that has barely any content and a campaign I have no intentions of replaying (I've done legendary and got the collectibles) isn't worth it. Especially when I had to uninstall Metro Redux and Far Cry 4 to get it - plus I have some BC games I'll be installing soon. Tell me how Mad Max is, looks like a lot of fun.

Remember the Halo 5 point of view trailers which were making the conflict between Locke and the Chief a major deal? That was such a funny fucking joke.

This thread has inspired me to give this game another shot.
So I'm downloading it on my 360 now. I'm surprised it's only 3GB, I'd expect it to be a lot more.
Apparently, I've inspired at least four or five other people, too. So many DaS threads on the front page right now.
Yeah. Seeing more people who actually give advice on the game rather than being total pricks has been part of why I'm giving it another shot. Plus,I want to understand what people are talking about in this thread.

I'd probably get the NV DLC, if you haven't already. If not, finish 3 and wait for the price to go down. Buy the Ultimate Edition to get all of it, that version is pretty cheap now.
Fallout4 is a fun game, but not one engineered for multiple playthroughs. If you have £40, I'd reconmend using it to maximise your time in 3 and Vegas.
Don't have either of them anymore. They were a little rough at times, I'm just imaging that 4 is a smoother experience, but from some reviews I've read, that's not the case.
4 is poorly optimized for console and non-nvidia pc's
I should have mentioned it's capped at 30 on consoles. Not too buggy, compared to most titled by Bethesda.

Fuckin ninja'd my edit In my own play history of Fallout 4 (6+ days of gametime on onemain save and a bunch of small saves), I'd say it's far less buggy than post-patching Skyrim and New Vegas (I play on 360 and Xbox One, so no mods included) I'd highly recommend picking up the FO3 GOTY edition and NV Ultimate edition first. It will probably be cheaper and you'll get more from it.

All that said, if you're fine with more in-depth settlement mechanics than RPG mechanics, very few quests outside of the MQ and a much bigger emphasis on crafting and dungeon diving, go for it. The gunplay in 4 is much better than the other two and is a lot of fun. I love Fallout 4, not as good as Vegas, but certainly on par with 3 (And I also loved 3)

Though the whole leaving the door open thing is pretty dumb.

Saying it was better than the older ones is like proclaiming that food is better than mcdonalds.
I mean, it's true, but it's not exactly a high bar to leap in the first place, so it's not exactly an accomplishment.

It's free on BC for a limited time right now, so is it worth getting?
Would it require foreknowledge from TW1 to understand, and how well does it fit with TW3?
Furthermore, is the combat and general gameplay a good way to understad what TW3 is like? So, if I end up enjoying/ not enjoying this, would I then have a good idea of what my opinion of 3 is?
It's free, so it's not like I'd be losing anything. Nevertheless, I don't really want to waste time with it if TW3 is massively different to it.

Please stop trying to be funny by changing one or all (Emphasis on all) the characters of the name of something to sound clever.
It's not clever, nor is it funny. Just annoying.

All I get on b.net are random requests to join Sep7 from people who think we're a destiny clan.
How does anyone even come to that conclusion? Doesn't the vast majority of them think of us as like stormfront or something?
I don't even know man, I haven't looked at their forums in ages. Last I heard people still go chimp whenever sep7 is mentioned and a group of them (including a newer mod and monitor) came up with some plan where they thought they'd be able to steal our domain name and shut us down.
And then people got (sorta) mad at me when one of those people joined and I put him in the spotlight for that, causing the fellow to promptly ragequit.
Well he only ever said he joined because he got banned on bnet for a weekend. We were just the backup.
