I've played hundres of hours on 360, though the inconsistnt framerate means I'm struggling to enjoy it now. If/ when it comes on BC I'll undoubtedly play again. I loved Skyrim.

I'd argue that being a good strategist is as equal parts skill as having reflexes or whatever The point was, RNG removes any elements of how good the player is and puts a win or loss down to chance. If you win, it's not because you did better. It's because the gods of RNG graced you with their favour.

So I completely suck at this. Do I just keep doing station missions until I get the hang of things? I've seen guides talking about going around and scanning signals, but I don't have a clue how to scan something, let alone how to actually navigate in supercruise without blowing past my target.

The news was pretty to hear about, right now I haven't had the time to read articles, but it's promising to say the least.
I'm looking forward to the other data that comes from the black hole collision. It's largely been overshadowed by the Gravitational Waves, but black hole collisions are pretty rare in general. I'm excited for what else comes of it.

Usually it would hurt more, but I see that you're only 19. Maybe you'll see how it is when you're out of college. Not everyone is lucky. You could end up doing the job I have a year and a half after graduation, and then I will be the one laughing.
Nigga you went for a degree that has very little payout and because you thought it was an easy way out. I plan on being a teacher AFTER I do my career in astronomy.

I've been playing since day one on PC. Horizons is filled with scum and it's fucking awful.
Excited to see what it'll include in about a year though.

If you play on a console, go fucking kill yourself. That game deserves a HOTAS and voice attack. You're literally scum if you play on the consoles. You are the reason why PC Elite is actually delaying their patches.

I should get around to watching S2. I liked series 1, but I agree - Breaking Bad was a lot better
I might rewatch BB at some point. I have all five seasons on DVD.
S2 doesn't start until Monday in the UK...
And while S1 as a whole wasn't on the same level as BB, I'd say that the show has the potential to become better, and some of the episodes were on the same level as BB's best, particularly Mike's episode.

On Uprising in Halo 2, I'd go back and play that mission on Easy. I would give all my Elites energy swords and let them tear the Brutes apart
I gave all the power weapons I found on The Covenant to my allies. They were pre good at blowing shit up tbh
I did the same haha. I would give marines the two Splasers in the beginning of the level and I would keep them alive all the way until the Hornet segment. I had those marines ride on the side of my Hornet and they blasted every Banshee outta the sky with the Splasers.
It was even better if they both survived to the tank part. Two splassr guys + the rocket launcher guy that gets dropped off + an FRG guy on your tank is so fucking fun to drive.

It's weird when people who play betas now expect a fully functional product right out of the door instead of an unfinished part of the game which is being used to help find bugs to fix later om
Which is how it should be. People who're posting in this thread like it's a final representation need a reality check into what a beta SHOULD be. Not what EA has hijacked it to be.
The game comes out in three months. At this point they'll be wrapping shit up and sending it off to be printed.
Except a beta is never the most up-to-date version of the game. Becauee they have to spend time packaging it for download and shit
Just like the Battlefield 4 beta wasn't representative of the launch product right? The game has more issues than just running like ass. The AI are absolutely brain dead, the maps are linear as hell and only give a very basic illusion of "open world", and the gameplay is mediocre.
I haven't played HF2 so I dunno. I can't exactly excuse that stuff, because yeah it's not really fixable. But networking stuff might be. Curiously, I seem to remember BF4's beta being better than the launch product. Regardless, homefront doesn't particularly interest me so I can't say much about it.
