Reach, overall

Best art style, best status at launch (IE not broken feature incomplete like everything after and the customs stuff is better than everything before), pretty good soundtrack and the multiplayer was pretty good. Reach didn't excel at any one area over the others, but overall it was a more satisfying experience than any other game in the series. I had far more time out of it than any other halo game.

I thought ME3's story was fine until the end.

It was.

It's just that the mass effect series, as a whole, falls apart when you put some critical thought into it.

So what you're saying is that a fictional video game set in space and with aliens, isn't actually believable

who wouldve guessed

I moremeant plot holes and stuff

The way ME2 and 3 turned out is not what Mass Effet 1 set up. It's why there's a bunch of inconsistencies that had to be duct taped together later on.

psy no

the public school system is responsible for every stupid fucking VIKINGS! myth known to man.

You're telling me vikings didn't have horned helmets?!?!
I'm also telling you that the men sewed and made socks. And that really most Scandinavians weren't Vikings.

Well, at least we remain secure in the knowledge that christopher columbus was the first european to find america and nothing happened before then.

Thankfully we did cover Russia from 1905-39 in excessive detail, and germany from versailles to 39 too.
So we got to see an awful lot of the causes of the war but bugger all of what actually happened during it, (aside from the 6 gorrilion stuff).
That's how I remember history class being like. They want you to learn the causes of events and then maybe some tragedies or a really simplified explanation of a turning point (hitler invaded Russia in da winter XD, or, da alps killed hannibals elaphants LOL), but actual order of battle, grand strategy, and anything remotely detailed about a campaign is something that's never mentioned.
Yup, the most we ever did on a military tactic was francis drake spamming fireboats at the spaniards.
I learned that from AOE 2 when I was 6.

oh and the tortoise formation

Bloody primary school history was better because they brought in some big scandanavian motherfugger with a huge axe who screamed at us in viking for the day.

I remember my history teacher going off on one one lesson about the russian front and how it's never recognised in popular media because of D-Day (We were doing about the industrial shit at the time, it was completely irrelevant to what we were doing), and proceeded to spend a week telling us about stalingrad, the tank stuff going on in the east and putting on a film about a russian sniper.

I liked my history teacher. I wish he hadn't resigned later that year, he was brilliant.

Gaming / Re: Fallout 5 location
« on: March 02, 2016, 01:06:39 PM »
If Bethesda, one of the locations mentioned in Fallout 3 would be welcome - Broken Banks, 'Ronto and the Erie Stretch. Ronto, presumably Toronto, would be interesting as we'd be able to see how the annexation of canada affected the region. Outside of those, New York.

For Obsidian, either SLC and that region, something in Legion Territory or something that follows up on the MWBoS would be welcome. You could even combine those last two, as there is some overlap and evidnece to support Legion and the Brotherhood meeting.

As for a general location, Anchorage would be interesting. Yao Guai polar bears would be cool,  and the idea lf some chinese military remnant having kept at war with the americans even after the bombs and even ghoulification would be a nice way to change up the scenery and provide lots of juicy lore. It could keep stuff like The Power Armour Faction being a thing without needing another Brotherhood or Enclave chapter.

I want enviromental hazards. Put hardcore mode on up in alaska. Power armour has a time limit before it's joints begin to freeze or that it's weight slows you down in deep snow.

Just make it inhumanly cold up there so that it's a true wasteland of snow and ice.

Given how water seemingly retains radiation in the Fallout universe, the rad levels would be insane in an arctic wasteland.

why?
It was more like threatening suspension, really.

I still don't see why
I'm pretty sure having sex with a minor even if  you're a minor is a crime.

Oh, right. honestly, I have no idea what age 4th grade is.
like 10 or some shit

oh

well that makes a lot more sense

it was probably all the xbox players' mothers he'd fucked, I take it

I'm pretty sure Fedorekd had a decent time finding matches on Halo 2
Yeah, I was finding games pretty quickly.
Maybe I should reset my router then. It was around 6 PM EST, would think there'd be a decent amount online at that time.

One of my friends was complaining XBL as a whole was down and he couldn't play H5. Might have been that.

Maybe. It would be useful and also cost less than your sex-change mutilation. Sorry, but if someone burns me I return the favor.

that would imply what you just said could be in any way interpreted as a burn

And by the way, if you're going to call girls sluts if they sleep with X number of people per week, you have to call guys sluts if they also sleep with that number, or else you're just a hypocrite.

Why would you not do this though
Beyond that, the entire label itself is offensive and contrived. How often someone has sex is no one else's business whatsoever.

Still

I don't see why you'd apply it to one person but not another, if they're doing the same thing

They're both equally as stupid.
