Why is the sling point in the way of the optic?

Don't know. I thought it was just the side of the optic.

Looking at it again, though, it looks like it might be under the actual sight.

Yeah but there's other, more important issues for him to focus attention on

Like a fucking print button.

In all seriousness though, what is it going to change to? Nothing happens here.

Delays are usually a good thing, it's better to just wait a couple of months for a much better product than scream for it ASAP and have a buggy mess come out.

What's concerning is that a number of BioWare devs left only a couple weeks ago, hinting at something going on behind the scenes. I'm kind of worried we're gonna get a destiny release here.

Also, pushing Titanfall up to Q3 when previously Respawn said they were expecting a Q1 2017 release is concerning for me.

Hopefully it doesn't clash with Destiny 2.

Not that I'm sold on either yet, but still.

I'd be concerned if you were fully sold on either, as we have seen nothing about them thus far.
Exactly, not to mention their predecessors were complete horse shit.

Though ME3's MP was p 👌 and actually fixed a lot with Destiny with TTK, even if it took them a whole year.

Well, Mass Effect as a whole was pretty good as long as you just accepted it at face value and tried not to poke holes in the story. The gameplay did get better across the series though.

However, a few of the devs, including the lead writer, leaving a while back has me concerned for what's going on behind the scenes at BioWare. I hope it's not a repeat of what happened with destiny.

Gaming / Mass effect Andromeda delayed to Q1 2017
« on: March 04, 2016, 07:31:30 AM »
Quote
Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed from its original holiday 2016 release date into Q1 2017, according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.

Speaking during Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, via NeoGAF, Jorgensen was asked to provide the status of EA’s upcoming non-sports games. He said Mass Effect would be coming in EA’s “fourth quarter” EA’s fiscal year ends March 31 so the game could launch sometime between January and March 2017.

“We’ve got a great year ahead. We’ve got our Battlefield first-person shooter game coming in the third quarter, and our third-party title that Respawn, our partner, built, it’s called Titanfall, it’s the second title that they brought into that brand. Both of these are first-person shooters and will be targeted around the fast, action-driver shooter market, as well as the strategy-driven market in that quarter. We have our Mirror’s Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter. So big year ahead and we’re pretty excited,” Jorgensen said.

Mass Effect Andromeda was announced during EA’s E3 press conference last year, with an expected Holiday 2016 release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Details of the games’ plot, multiplayer mode, and more were reportedly leaked in a survey.

Jorgensen’s comments also confirm Titanfall 2’s release date as a Q3 2016 release. Previously, Jorgensen said the game would launch in EA’s “fiscal ’17” but recently McFarlane Toys unveiled a line of Titanfall 2 toys expected to arrive alongside the sequel in Winter 2016.

In related Battlefield 5 news, recently DICE confirmed it is working on a new Battlefield. Other than a Holiday 2016 release date, EA has not revealed any details regarding the new Battlefield game. However, a recent retailer listing hints at the possibility of a World War I setting in Battlefield 5.

TL;DR Mass effect delayed until next year, Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 5 getting releases this year.

I'm guessing that big thing of a bunch of bioware employees leaving a while back must have really affected development.

Which damage output? Melee damage generally falls into two categories: strength and dexterity. Dexterity typically benefits faster and lighter weapons more (katana, scimitar, dagger, rapier, spear...) while strength yields better results with heavier and slower weapons (hammer, axe, club, mace, greatsword...). Even though you can level both of them up as much as you'd like and no points in either of them will be wasted regardless of your choice, this is something I'd recommend you settle on in the first parts of the game. Do you want to rely more on bigger and slower weapons that deal a lot of damage per hit but are kind of clunky and unwieldy, or do you prefer faster and more nimble weapons that you handle quicker and agile but with less damage each strike?

Going for strength.
That's a good choice for a tank, as it'll allow you to carry massive and heavy greatshields. Don't forget to level up your endurance if you're going for a tank build. The higher your endurance, the more weight you can carry without sacrificing movement speed and agility. So if you're planning on going full heavy armor, be prepared to sink some points in endurance just so that you're not limited to a walking speed.

Would I be correct in assuming that endurance gives more stamina so I can get more attacks in as well?
Yep. Endurance affects equipment load and stamina. More stamina = more attacks, rolls, sprinting and blocking.

Alrighty then. I'll probably start playing again in a bit. I've been enjoying it a lot more this time around than the first time I played it, though I'm still in the parts I have a recollection of.

Baryonic matter consists of matter made of that made of protons and neutrons, but mesons, antimatter, leptons and exotic matter could still hold many secrets for us to discover. In particular, the recent discovery of gravitational waves could lead to confirmation of the graviton's existence.

Your starting class is irrelevant, honestly. You end up leveling up everything after a while. Just focus on what suits your play style at first.

I've put my two current level ups into beefing up my health and damage output.  I kind of want to be more tank-ey, or as tank-ey as possible in DS.

Well the plunge attack decided not to activate so asylum demon fucked me over.
The timing is pretty specific. You can't do it too early after falling or too close before hitting the target. Try it when you're mid-air and in the falling motion.

Yeah. I'm the kind of guy who prefers to hold a button to make sure it does what it does. I just sort of kept sliding down the demon's back and then getting repeatedly stun-locked by his attacks.

I'm in the middle of undead burg right now, but had to take a break because >xbox 360 controller. It's pretty uncomfortable after being on XB1 for so long.
