Way too vague a question. what kind of features being cut, what platform is being developed for and how intensive the game is (IE Battlefield-style destruction physics and FX or a top-down platformer with very few hardware-intensive features).
I mean, it's kinda obvious that he's alluding to Halo 5's lack of split screen in favor of 60fps.
Yeah, but he was asking if I was making a game. If it were the choice between sacrificing a consistent frame rate on a PC-based, competitive shooter to have a feature like splitscreen, I'm keeping a framerate. A high frame rate impacts gameplay by allowing twitch reactions - and I would rather have better reactions than a feature I rarely if ever use. I'd rather downgrade my graphical quality for a higher FPS, as FPS actually impacts the gameplay. I've tried playing games on my 360 since I got an XB! and I can't play them for long because the framerate made the game not-fun to play. So yeah, as a general rule, I'll take a high frame rate at the cost of feature removal.

That was actually intentional; like Bungie did with Destiny's raid's.
That just gives even more reason to criticize 343. You understand this, right? Like, a deliberate misstep is actually worse than at least trying to include a feature.
Is it so hard to believe that I would acknowledge such a thing?
You did kind of present it as a "They INTENDED to release it unfinished so it's okay!" It's not exactly hard to believe when there are a sizeable people who subscribe to that train of thought.

I played this game at a friend's last night. Aside from the PS4 controller reeeeeeee, it wasn't as bad as last time I played (I was imperial walker assault/ endor). Thinking about getting it for cheap, as it's only £22 at CEX.
Is it worth twenty quid or would I be better off getting R6Siege? It's only £3 more expensive.

60fps is good though
But yeah other than that, deliberately planning releasing an unfinished game doesn't excuse the fact you sold an early access game for full price.
I was saying without Split Screen, a matchmaking feature becomes more important for Co-Op campaign.
Especially with the way they were pushing Co-op too, speaking of that I'm surprised that campaign doesn't distribute REQ points or Experience points to give people more incentive to play it.
Yeah. I wish there were campaign commendations for weapon kills and enemies killed. The Halo Reach and 4 commendations extended a lot of my play-time in Campaign/ Spartan Ops because I could actually get some cR/ XP from them. Once you have the collectibles, there isn't really much reason to replay Halo 5. Having campaign matchmaking with commendations would make the focus they put on co-op with different characters and dedicated servers a lot more useful. Hopefully WZ Firefight will remedy this.

I know fam, that tradeoff was almost fair enough, on top of them reportedly making a reasonable effort to include both features. I was saying without Split Screen, a matchmaking feature becomes more important for Co-Op campaign.
Yeah. Honestly, I'd have been fine with them downscaling to 720 or 900p if it meant a splitscreen experience. Frame rate is far more important than resolution. I can kind of undersand them removing matchmaking co op though, it rarely had more than like, 300 players even at the height of Reach's lifespan. Plus it had a voting system to decide level/ difficulty, which H5 doesn't have.

Go for Latin. I did 6 years of Latin and 2 of Greek, and much preferred the first. More useful too.
I can imagine latin being pretty useful if you want to do biology.
It's also pretty useful if you want to study Latin.
Also that.

Wait, so is this game a remake of #1 or not? I'm really confused.
Regardless, it's the first title on ps4 that has actually interested me because >ratchet and clank
at least I can see the film.

It was underused in previous titles, but the lack of local Multiplayer support for Halo 5 makes it a bit more important to give players (especially those with limited friends lists) more of a chance to play Co-Op online. Unless they plan on releasing this further down the track to iron out any kinks, I can't see a reason to axe a feature that was introduced 8 years earlier than Halo 5 itself.

When I'm back in a couple hours I'd be up for doing the campaign achievements. Most, if not all the ones that need co-op I haven't done yet.

So if any of you preview bitches wanna play Wars on the One you will be able to soon.
Hopefully it will be playable, unlike Reach.
Do you ever stop fucking bitching? My god it is so annoying. You are a literal cancer to this forum.
Except that's a legit complaint. Reach is unplayable on BC
Unplayable?
Thought it just had texture and framerate issues.
Unplayable
Ouch.
Didn't they release an update to diminish frame-rate drops?
Still awful and there's a noticeable input lag.
That's a shame.
And lets not forget about the textures and lighting to top it all off

I mean seriously what did they they do to the game for it to end up like this?
not gonna lie the autumn in white does actually look kind of cool, and in retrospect actually fits the modern aesthetic for the unsc than the original but yeah, reach fucked up

Framerate doesn't matter though. What if Bungie intended for you to play the game at 20fps?
You never actually enjoyed the older games. It's just nostalgia.

I'd say Elder Scrolls or Fallout for lore but you've already said you don't like Bethesda's style of gameplay
Maybe mass effect?

Plus, there's only about a thousand people playing now at any one time. You can only find games in a handful of playlists now. (I was playing EU times so it could have just been the time I was playing though.) Kind of like 2011 Halo 3, I guess. I ended up removing it from my HDD.

It's also coming to PC, if you'd rather play on that.
Oh cool
They want to bring it to XB1 at some point.
