Completely agree.

Although it's the kind of game where getting off to a bad start can throw you off for the rest of the match, which can make it unenjoyable. But that's more an issue with individual skill.

But yeah, it's a solid game.
one squadron (jsdf) can turn the tide of a match given they can break the momentum of the other team. but one great game.
Damn right

Infact the most memorable rounds are the ones where it's down to the wire, 10-0 tickets remaining kind of victories and the like.

A lot of it comes down to psychology too, if you can break the morale of the other team in CQB and make them start sniping - you've won.

Then you have Russkie style charges with a squad of bulldogs and the shit you can tear up from the shock tactic is insane e.e

Oh god I remember this one Locker game I played where the final score was 1-0. Most intense game I've played for a long time.

Eh. I just never found her interesting in the slightest. She really wasn't that likeable - not dislikeable either, but she never did anything that made me care about the character or want to know more.

I call in snipers and tanks because I can actually contribute to the team without being grenade spammed with a sniper and I'm pretty decent in a tank.

I don't call anything else in because you just die from being swarmed or spammed before you can do anything with them.
But my K/D is 3.00 and that objectively means that I should get the sniper because I'm obviously better than you

Does that mean I'm not allowed to get the flag as well?

Aside from.the fact that the story was one of the best in the franchise and it actually acknowledged the expanded universe, okay.
A good story and a good story direction in relation to previous games are 2 different things.

I liked Halo 4 and the direction it was going. Up until H5's launch, it seemedthat the story was going to take a turn for examining john as a character and a bunch of buzzwords your english teacher would use. They'd already done the galaxy-spanning war so I liked that they were going for a change in direction to be more introspective. Halo 4 was a good story and I liked what it was setting up (Even if the gameplay and art style were meh and bollocks, respectively)

Then Halo 5 comes along and now it's clear that 343 is wholly incompetent as a studio.

Making more sequels isn't inherently bad - if people want them and the content is good, everything's fine.

Problem is when the content turns shit (Like Halo 5) and becomes full of shit nobody wanted (Like Halo 5).

Anyway, isn't the mext cod game like, 12 or something?
Don't forget Halo 4. Ruined Halo right there.

MCC is only worth getting if you like campaigns. It still barely works to this day (Or it does work but it has population comparable to 360 Halo 3). Halo 5 is only worth getting if you can get it cheap/ pre owned.

Fallout 4 gets mods earlier than PS4, and more people here have an X1, too.

BF5 (or bad company 3 or whatever) is releasing this year so getting 4 now might be pointless.

Now that Halo has turned shit and Titanfall is going to playstation and tomb raider's a timed exclusive, there really isn't any reason to get an Xbox One unless you know people who have one. Unless you love gears of war. In terms of games, I'd go for a Playstation purely for Ratchet and Clank. That's one more exclusive worth getting than xbox has.

The Flood / Re: How would you like to die?
« on: April 06, 2016, 02:10:21 AM »
Vacuum exposure or obscenely high radiation dosage. Preferably both at the same time.

Well aside from 15 seconds of intense pain as your body swells up because of pressure differences before you go unconscious, yeah. Vaccuum exposure would mean you don't havw to worry about much.

Still a better MKV than MKV though

Elder scrolls has something similar, the Aldmeri versions of character names become X-El

Pelinal is Pelin-El, there is Auri-El, etc.

Haven't looked into the deep end of TES lore in a long time, but it would probably be up your alley. Michael Kirkbride's inspiration from vedic and ancient religion is interesting.

And Apocrypha is the name of Hermaeus Mora's realm in Dragonborn iirc. It was the first thing I thought when I saw it here, anyway.

The best part of all this is the irony the first part of this saga was called 'All Too Easy'.

I don't get why you sperg out every time there's a lull. The fact that it's early morning for Europe (When OP was posted) and late at night in the US when people have work/college/ whatever the next day is obviously going to mean there"s not as much activity. That's more or less meaning that nearly everyone in the active userbase has something more important to do than spend time on a halo offshoot website.

As surprising as it may be, judging from the people that come here, but said people do actually have lives and things more important to be doing like sleep. This topic was posted at 4:15am - I don't know many people who are both awake at quarter past four and are posting  on the internet. It's not hard logic to figure that people have more important things to do.
