I hope they don't add any more titans. The sandbox in #1 was pretty well balance and another titan class would ruin it.

So apparently WW is only about 100mb download. Not bad.

Also, the neon letters have to be placed manually like a sign, not typed like I was hoping.

You can set XB1's to australia, download, then set back and access the DLC now, too.

I introduced one of my friends to this site, if it counts.

I'm in a facebook chat with a couple members, but that's about it. Not many people from the North here.

North as in?

Because if you mean Northern America aaaay buddy.

A guy on my killfeed just committed suicide with a repair tool... how?
Blew up a tank with one and the blast finished him off too

My favourite to figure out is when people an hero with pistols and sniper rifles, that's usually down to some elaborate Jihad on a tank with C4 though

The best ones are when you get a kill with a flare by throwing it at some C4.

OR getting a kill with a flashbang because someone was on 1 health.

So once survival and wasteland workshop have dropped on XB1, I'm going to RP a cannibal. More specifically, I'm going to recreate Terminus from The Walking dead by capturing raiders and choosing said perk. And have one room decked out with meat bags and stuff. It's going to be amazing.

Who cares anyway, they've always been corrupt bullies even when Tandi was around.
not any worse than the Legion or BOS

Well, the Legion and Brotherhood aren't corrupt. The Brotherhood is a quasi-religious order that doesn't tolerate anything that goes against it (And really, what is there to corrupt in the Brotherhood? Their leaders have a fairly simple goal) and the Legion literally sees Caesar as a personification of the God of War and the Legion has no tolerance for personal gain outside the Legion's goals.

Say what you like, but those two aren't corrupt. Their structures and organisation don't really allow for it.

Settlements has been my major time-sink in Fallout 4, so this workshop stuff will benefit me greatly.

Only problems I have are with size restrictions. I can't build a junk fence around the whole of Sanctuary, and make use of every empty foundation after you clear them, and make use of every remaining house still standing. Why make it so the building area large in the first place then?

If you drop weapons and armour then scrap them in the workshop mode, it will count as deleting objects in the 'budget' meter. Do it regularly and you can pretty much build only limited by supplies and frame rate.

Just tp add on to this, the more mods a piece of gear has, the more the bar will drain. If you store them in the workbench rather tha scrap them, it will also account for draining the meter so you can do a repeat on the same items if you need.

Hated that place. 2spooky6me
are you serious

that place was like straight out of one of those old "True Detective" magazines

it was so great

I hate it in the 'oh fuck this is spooky and I don't like it ways'. It was really well done, kind of like the museum of witchcraft.

I didn't hate it because I thought it was bad, I'm just easily spooked by that kind of stuff. Some  of the quieter sections of Metro 2033 and Last Light and my first run of Dunwich Building were awful for me. fun though, Bethesda can really nail certain atmospheres/ feels when they decide to.
ah, that makes sense. I could tell that it was all pre-war by the second tape, so that really eased my fears a bit. When I first went into the sewer it was indeed freaky as hell

I really need to play Metro 2033 at some point

Yeah. My first thoughts were it was for Nick, and was wondering if it was a location I should have brought him.

If you get round to it, get Redux; it comes with both games in 1080/60fps and they do a lot of reworking of 2033 to add mechanics from last light, some enemies from last light (New levels), all the DLC gear and they massively rework to UI to make it much more pleasant to use. It's the definitive edition. They're both great single-player games. Especially if you have a good headset - they're incredibly immersive and the developers nailed the atmosphere of both games. I also recommend the books, too. They're great reads.

Serious / Re: How I like to calm down and put things in perspective

Yeah. Something that really hit home for me was when we detected a supernova outshine all the stars in another galaxy. Not only did it outshine trillions of other stars in the sky, but it's when you realise that supernova happened before humans even existed. For millions of years, those photons have been making their way across intergalactic and interstellar space to reach our eyes for a few seconds before we'll never see it again. A 2 million+ year journey and it's done.

It's just something I find amazing. That there are hundreds of billions of stars in each galaxy, and there may be trillions of trillions of galaxies in the universe. And we will never see them all; every planet, every star, every nebula, and such. It's amazing, really, just how much there is.

I don't know if that really added anything to the discussion but it's something the topic made me think of.

fuck any west coast fallout faction that isn't the NCR

>post Tandi presidency
>supporting NCR
lol, Tandi died before NCR was even a power that could rival the Brotherhood

what are you on about

NCR can only contend with the Brotherhood because it mass-conscripts its soldiers as cannon fodder for Brotherhood troops. It's strategy is to throw wave after wave of soldiers at the Brotherhood until they simply run out of ammo.

That's not any kind of advantage other than numerical. The Brotherhood still has the technology and training to do operations like destroy NCR gold reserves, rendering their economy worthless- all while on the verge kf being destroyed.
Well, yeah. And I'm saying that under Tandi, they didn't even have the resources to do that. They were a literal city, not a nation.

She was still the most popular and effective president they had. Without her, there would be no NCR at all.

House winning at the Dam is the best option for the NCR.
NCR shouldn't have gone into Nevada so early in the first place. They should've let the inevitable House-Legion conflict play out and then swoop in afterwards.

Doesn't change the fact that in the game itself, NCR is awesome and the most rewarding faction to side with

Well house winning means the NCR still gets access to Vegas for its civilians and such - House says that NCR is vital to his own plans because they're his source of trade and economy. If he wins, the NCR can focus its resources on securing its own territory from raiders and gangs like the Legion did. Plus, Kimbal being killed and Oliver being kicked out of office would mean a negative reaction to future imperialistic efforts by the NCR after their combined failures of Hopeville and Vegas. On top of all this, the Legion would be crippled and any future expansion attempts by them would be House's responsibility. The NCR loses nothing and gains everything in a House win scenario.
Remind me, because I haven't played NV in a while. In a House victory, he gets total control over the energy output from Hoover Dam, right? When the NCR controlled it, something like 65% of the energy went back to California. Wouldn't that be a pretty big loss?

Currently, vegas only gets 5% output from the Dam. House doesn't want to cripple the NCR at all - they're his best customers (his own words). He wants their civilians to keep coming and spending money in Casinos because they are providing him the means to do what he needs. His entire goal is purely centered on making New Vegas an independant, autonomous state comparable to the Old World, and eventually colonising another planet. He has no interest in what goes on outside that area unless it directly affects him; if he were to cut off the NCR's power, it wouldn't really benefit him much. All he wants is to get the military out of Vegas and stop them annexing the place like they did to Vault City or Navarro.

As long as you don't go crazy with lighting, you should experience very few frame drops.

I'll play if we do breakout
Why would we play casual gamemodes? Especially in 1v1-2v2 situations.

breakout's fun in a R6 kind of way. More tactical - plus the maps aren't all terrible.

LOL, Breakout will not be in the Tourney unless a vast majority requests it. Because Breakout is for casual gamenights, not a tournament.

Regular arena is only fun if you play on forged maps. The developer ones are shite. Of course, I've never really been a 4v4 fan so take that with a grain of salt.
