Definitely the weakest entry but by no means bad. I'm still playing it (And the DLC isn't that substantial yet so that's not contributed much) now, so it's done something right. Now that Bethesda has got their heads round decent combat mechanics, I hope Obsidian will get a chance to use the engine to make New Vegas 2 or something. Knowing OP's thoughts on the FO3 Brotherhood of Steel, I imagine he'll like the new Brotherhood more (Without wishing to spoil). I consider them the best faction in the game. Protip half-spoiler for the railroad (No story spoilers, just gameplay spoilers) Spoiler If you play through the railroad enough, PAM will give you a mission that unlocks Ballistic Weave, so you can apply armour to apparel (Army fatigues with 150 DR bruh). At least do their first mission - you get one of the best weapons in the game.

It's a pretty fun game. Probably the weakest of the newer 3 in the RPG department but they massively improved the shooting mechanics. It definitely feels like an FPS with RPG mechanics than an RPG with FPS mechanics.
It's good you like crafting though because there's a real shortage of quests compared to New vegas or Skyrim. I've got over two weeks logged on it so far though so I can definitely say i got my money's worth.

I remember mine
I went there, had some food, sat outside for an hour because the music was both awful and too loud and went home and watched lord of the rings at 9
What a waste of £40. That's £40 I could have spent on something useful.

"B-buh you're playing a competititive game so you should be playing with a team you communicate with" is generally the excuse if you bring up this type of complaint on Waypoint. It's ridiculous that the system so heavily depends on having good team mates. If you have that system in a playlist, the playlist should be locked to party teams so it's not an issue.

I'm loving this game. Plasma rifle best rifle.
Pink rocket launcher is also good.
But yeah, mechanics are solid, map design is great, reloading substituted for picking up ammo is a great way for encouraging exploration of the map. Even when I'm doing bad in this game, I'm still enjoying the sheer craziness of it all, it's rarely frustrating to play. The already high movement speed combinednwith a 110 FOV (More consple game need this slider) feels really speedy when running around. I've had no issues with lag, either, and matchmaking is pretty quick. This feels like the direction Halo should have been moving in, and it's definitely convinced me to get the game when it releases. Campaign should be fun and promise of forge/ custom games is also good.

Battlefield 4 is getting better. There's still one or two weapons and gadgets (Mare's Leg, PHANTOM, AA Mines) that are useless, but other than that, the game is pretty well balanced. You can rock pretty much any weapon and do well, even against the guys using AEKs and M101s. Vehicle combat less so; if you're not using active protection, you're doing it wrong.
Don't get me wrong, it took close to two years to get to the state it's in, but Dice LA should be given credit for making BF4 incredibly well balanced overall. Vehicular combat could use a few more tweaks, but other than that the game has had a massive turnaround since launch.

Sit and read a book for half an hour and then try again
Usually that works for me.

I value my security over privacy. I mean, both are good but if I had to throw one away to keep the other I'd rather have security.

Alright ,well now I'm on my laptop I can look at this more in-depth. I noticed it doesn't say which star in the Alpha Centauri system they're going for. Alpha Centauri A and B are relatively close to each other in their orbit but Proxima is significatly further away than the binary pair.
Also, Meta, what's your general opinion of space exploration? I've never really seen you comment on it before. Do you think it's money wasted or do you think the opportunities for estraterrestrial resource usage (Water ice in space, rare-earth elements abundant in planetary rings, asteroids and meteors, hydrocarbons on Titan and Helium in the gas giants, for example) is worth the exponential cost of developing space technologies?

My dog is old and it's really sad
Like, she's gone deaf and can barely hear when I come home if she's sleeping
Really hits me in the feels when that happens.

Fallout 4.
Right now I'm looking forward to Battlefield, Titanfall, Mass Effect and HW2. But I am yet to get hyped because we haven't seen anything of them yet.

Someone on reddit increased the contrast of the blurry image to try and make out what it was. It looks like there's a wallrunning Titan next to a wallrunning pilot I'm not sure how I feel about this
