RTS and Sims would have been somewhat interesting, last year was a two and a half hour shitshow of mediocrity with not even some cringe to liven things up. 2719

tbh all the workshop dlcs should have just been one bigger pack than 3 smaller ones.
I'm really hoping they're just marketing them on a gimmick like WW arenas and the stuff that makes them worthwhile is small stuff for structure and decor and shit, like WW. One's literally a mobile game and the other is Minecraft Tekkit. 2720

Anyway. Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake. Bethesda's got a thing for retro shooters it seems and it seems they're doing them well.
Unreal Tournament next? 2721
Gaming / Re: E3 2016; Microsoft, PC, Ubi and Sony today« on: June 13, 2016, 06:54:17 AM »Also, does Skyrim remaster include all DLC? I'm guessing so. You require it all to get the free upgrade on PC. 2722

Great song.
Tbh that entire album was fantastic. I prefer IMD (the song) though. 2723

Gaming / Re: E3 2016; Microsoft, PC, Ubi and Sony today« on: June 13, 2016, 05:52:14 AM »Yeah, there's the whole rug glitch and all of that. That's definitely helped me out a lot (especially in refurbishing Croup Manor), but it's still a tedious workaroundI see what you mean, makes sense. For building especially, I need the mod where you can just place anything anywhere, regardless of clipping. That red object shit, when I could literally plop something down there in real life no problem, is so annoying. Oh yeah. Sadly there's no mod for XB1 that bypasses the limits yet. Hopefully one day we'll get it. 2725

He's pretty cool. 2726
Gaming / Re: E3 2016; Microsoft, PC, Ubi and Sony today« on: June 13, 2016, 05:39:53 AM »nah man, I don't care about graphics or glitches or anything like thatDamn, that sucksI just really really really wanted PS4 mods to finally get released and was let down Oh yeah. I have a couple that add some WWII army uniforms and add hunting rifle mods for Lee Enfield conversion, but everything else is eh. I prefer building with vanilla stuff in my settlements than new stuff. Adds more challenge/ room for creativity(? - not sure how to describe it) and I'm generally happier with my settlements that look cool with vanilla items than crazy shit. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/BaconShelf/video/18459410 (shameless self plug because it was still the last thing I copied) Like that^. Minus flagpoles and more trees/ grass, that's all vanilla and I'm more satisfied with that than I was with anything I did with expanded stuff. Of course, it's all down to opinion, but I tend to get lazy when given all the tools. When given a selective palette I tend to be more creative in doing stuff. 2727

The one I was most excited for was the ability to wear a gas mask with a helmet. 2728

I mean, we didn't get them until the last day of may, so I would wait until after DLC04 earliest. 2729
Gaming / Re: E3 2016; Microsoft, PC, Ubi and Sony today« on: June 13, 2016, 05:21:48 AM »oh my god, I never realized how much I wanted this gameTbh the Outcasts should have replaced the Enclave in Fallout 3this would be pretty sweet, actually Yeah. Conflicts where the characters have a personal investment (NPCs, like) are a lot more interesting than 'these guys are bad' and that's it. The Outcasts were such a missed opportunity. 2730
Gaming / Re: E3 2016; Microsoft, PC, Ubi and Sony today« on: June 13, 2016, 05:19:39 AM »while we're still talking about fallout 3, have we all seen this Keep seeing it on my recommended feed but I was assuming it was one of those videos like BDobbinsFTW where he doesn't really say anything of value but just uses clickbait and shit for views. Might give it a watch. In unrelated news, I got around to watching the TES/ Fallout stuff. Skyrim new looks gorgeous, Nuka World looks interesting and I'm disappointed with the workshop DLCs. I liked Wasteland Workshop for new building materials and decor, but building conveyor belts and vaults doesn't really interest me. Thank fuck for weapon and armour stands though. I was hoping for a GRA-style DLC to give us more guns. |
