Depends on how they do the factions.
If it's just like how they did factions in the previous games where they don't really affect gameplay all too much then it doesn't bother me.
If faction actually changes what weapons and vehicles you can use (As in, the vehicles aren't just reskins of the same thing but all actually play differently) then yeah that's bullshit.

So it turns out PS4 mods have a 900mb limit and aren't allowed to use sound. Sony are being dickbags.
https://community.bethesda.net/thread/32339
What the fuck
that's straight up bullshit, first we have to wait a month longer, and now we don't even get half the storage space for mods that Xbox has?
hopefully this will change
Bethesda and Sony haven't really had an amicable relationship in the past. Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim as well as Far Harbour have all had really bad issues on PS3/4 compared to Xbox and PC, and after Skyrim released utterly broken on PS3 there was a lot of arguing between Beth and Sony over whose fault it was. Plus, Playstation uses its own proprietary audio stuff so I'm guessing that's why Sony are not allowing sound. So no radio/ custom gun mods that add new sounds.

Damn I was gonna post that.
It is nice to see though, that they are intent on taking Fallout 4 feedback into account in future games.
I wonder how they incorporate settlements into TESVI. I really hope it's kept, but scaled down to one or two areas and given a role more on the backburner, rather than being vital for the story.
Being able to use the settlements like how they do the Defend the Castle quest would be cool, if it's morr focused on building up defences and shit before an attack.

Nah. Having to live and spend time with another person permanently would not work out for me. Main reason I want to go to uni is so I can live by myself.

>he measures an RTS's worth by how many units he can spam laughing2Dfemales.gif
The people here primarily play consoles Das.
how does this make any sense when Every PC RTS I can think of lets you have significantly more units than halo wars
Dawn of War 2 didn't.
that's not true though
But it is. The cap may be 100, but the lowest costing pop units are 5-6 depending on your faction.
In Halo Wars the pop count is 60 max (in beta) but marines cost 3 pop to build now. So it's still less.

Britain used to own half of the world. Now they are Brussel's puppet.
While you're trolling, I would actually be really proud of my country if this were true. Imagine this all being a brilliant scheme started by a few Belgian scholars and politicians decades ago to transform such a tiny country with such a small population into the seat of largest supranational institution ever, controlling all of it by pulling strings and faking checks and balances.
BELGIUM STRONG.
Germany failed at taking over europe twice already by conventional means. Now they've done it without firing a shot. Truly ingenious.

I'm considering pre ordering Battlefield and Skyrim 2 when we have more info. I mean, I've already played the shit out of Skyrim so I know what I'm getting into with it, and I'm very impressed with the hour of live gameplay we were shown on sunday for BF1. Though for Battlefield I might just see how day 1 servers are reacting and then get it in town on my way home from college if they aren't shitting the bed like Battlefield 4 did.
Titanfall I'd have to wait for more footage and Halo Wars 2 has been really average at best for me thus far in the beta. I can only see myself really getting into HW2 with a keyboard and mouse. And if I have a PC capable of running Halo Wars, there then looms the question of why I'm not just playing better strategy games like Starcraft.
I'm kind of concerned about Mass Effect Andromeda so I think I might wait for that one too.

Played some rounds. it was physically unpleasant to play.
The UI is cluttered and all over the place, the FOV feels too low and the zoom level is atrocious. It feels lile I'm looking at a brick wall. It should be able to zoom out more, bevause everything feels clustered and annoying. I'm kind glad it crashed in the second game because I really wanted to stop playing because of this.
Outside of that, it's alright. Some changes good, some bad. Not particuoarly endearing one way or the other. If it were to launch as it is now I probably wouldn't buy.

Yeah the stuff I've heard hasn't been particularly enthraling (My download wasn't done this morning. Hoping it will be by the time I get home). I'm remaining hopeful but I'm not really all that excted right now. Plus, selling new leaders and units as DLC is disgusting.
If it were to come out on the same day as Mass Effect (They're both releasing Q1 next year, so it seems an apt comparison as I'm interested in both) I'd be going for Mass Effect, and I've not even seen any gameplay of that yet. I'm hardly surprised at 343 making mediocre products at this point, but I'm disappointed in CA.

So it turns out that two of the Bethesda writers left the studio after Morrowind and Oblivion, respectively, leaving only Emil as lead writer.
Explains a lot actually.

now I understand how sports games fans feel with people irrationally complaining that their games still exist.
in fairness, I don't think anyone was expecting Fifa to turn into a TellTale Game Series.

The only decent zombie games are the ones that do unique stuff with it. TWD (TellTale) is good because it's less smash zombies with a hammer and more about the characters and stuff, with the zombies as the background threat. Deadrising is just about crazy weapons and messing around in a sandbox with the zombies just there to justify mindless slaughter and state of decay idunno. Stuff like dead island/ dying light/ etc are the generic boring zombie game that give stuff like the aforementioned a bad name.

Might try and get back into FO1 when I get a desktop
I'm sure that trying to play it on my god awful laptop affected my enjoyment the first time around. I would try fallout 2 but the graphics glitch out on me whenever I try launch it.

The CoD space segment will just be a toy for one mission like the tanks and jets and choppers and shit in previous games. I wouldn't hold my breath yet.

I'd say there's a fundamental difference. You can still watch old films all you like, DVD format or Blu-Ray isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Games (Unless you're on PC) are generally stuck to one console and can't be played if you don't own that console anymore for whatever reason and it's not backwards-compatible.
That's why you don't sell your consoles.
I get so triggered when people say shit like "I'm selling my PS4." Makes me want to just throttle them and say, YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET THIS DECISION. STOP.
unless they literally needed the money, ofc
Yeah. I still have my PS2 because I wanna play good battlefront games and shit. Just a shame the controller is the most unergonomic product to be produced in the history of everything. Anyway, if they add new stuff in remasters (Like skyrim doing mod support or MCC adding all multiplayer shit) then its cool. If it's just a port I'm a bit iffy on it

Frankly sick of remakes. It's just like with movies.

So...
Dawnguard = Nuka Hearthfire = 3x workshop and Automatron Dragonborn = Far Harbour
I mean, I guess, but Automatron at least had a plot and new locations. I would compare it to Dawnguard before Hearthfire.
Maybe. I suppose if you see Far Harbour as more equivalent to Shivering Isles and Nuka to Dragonborn (Which I'm hesitant for). In slightly related news, looking at the DLC plans for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, it seems Fallout 3 is the outlier rather than tge standard. Fallout 4 is following that trend.

I don't really care about machine stuff. Beyond functional elevators ao I can build on overpasses, it just seems like another gimmick that won't be all that useful like arenas. Armour and weapon stands are nice though.
The Vault one is kind of dumb. I don't get why they're just repackaging Fallout Shelter. We could have had a guns pack that adds stuff from Fallout 3 but nah. I lile settlements because I like building stuff that people would feasibly do in a post-apocalypse. Vaults really take away from that.
Nuka seems cool though the lack of actual gameplay means I'm hesitant to say much. The promise that we can ditch the minutemen seems cool though. I'm getting some Paradise Falls vibes from the trailer and even a little bit of Pitt. It's promising but I'll wait to see more before judging.

So is anyone going to mention how the aliens are basically rip offs from that one big movie whose name I can't remember right now.
Well the art book cites Alien franchise as an inspiration for art style, so I guess you'd follow that to it's logical conclusion and arrive at Avatar. Tht said, the dragons were in the first game and the wolves were in concept art for the first game. If you're looking for james cameron style stuff, I'd take a closer look at stuff like the Hemlok BF-R.

While I can't say anything of the sony conference particularly interests me, it's good to see at least one company has a fucking clue about what E3 should be. X-Wing VR looks cool but I'm not interested in anything else enough to justify going out and buying a new console.
So I guess EA won this one for me, which is really pathetic. Titanfall, Battlefield, Mass Effect, Skyrim 2 and Halo Wars, one of which is a game I already have and one is a sequel to a game that sounds like it has had all the good stuff of the original taken away in the sequel. And another's show was a two minute video amounting to "We are doing this game". Big surprise there.
Microsoft in particular has to win some kind of award for the most boring E3. It's like those guys are actively trying to get me to stop buying their stuff.
