I'm still undecided on the issue. I live in an area that's pretty pro-leave, for the most part, so I'm leaning towards that though there's a lot of stuff saying it'd be better to stay with everything boiling down to no one knows what the fuck's gonna happen either way.
I don't really know what I'm gonna vote on thursday.
Anything you're still particularly uncertain about?
Eh. I know jack and shit about economics and politics and all that stuff and I'm not really expecting to become an expert in the next 4 days. I guess really I'm just going to put it down to what affects me and my interests the most because of that. And I'm not entirely sure how it would affect university tuition (I'm in 2017 entry for Computer Games Design), I doubt it would affect science and technology all that much (I mean, as I understand it current standards would have to be upheld regardless if the UK would trade with EU so not much would change) and elsewise I'm not really interested in travelling all too much so the open borders thing doesn't bother me either way. And I don't really buy the "Hey we can spend £300m on the NHS if we leave, honest!" crap or the "IF we leave = NO immigration at all!" stuff, but I also don't buy any of the fearmongering of people saying the world will end and world war 3 will start if we do leave, either. So yeah, not entirely sure. I'm not too sure that leaving or staying would affect me on a personal level and I'm not fluent enough in stuff to make an educated decision on the matter from that perspective.

I do like in the BF1 showcase, how water accumulated on the guns when it started to rain. It looked so nice. They're using the tech they used on Battlefront (that photo realistic look. Forget what it's called, but omg it looks gorgeous) and it looks incredible.
DICE never disappoints. The Frostbite engine is incredible. I really wish Respawn could have used FB3 in Titanfall 2. That would have been incredible.

"What kind of helmet you want, Fam?" "You know the starship Enterprise?" "Say no more"
Why is 343 so shitty at armor designs? We go from Bungie who came up with realistic practical armor to 343 who has been creating nothing but asinine shit which belongs in anime.
That's insulting to anime.

While I haven't played witcher 3, I remember hearing about a bit in the ZP review where you're going to see the king or something and you have to trim your beard, have a hair cut, dress up fancy and stuff rather than do what you do in say, Skyrim, where you go to meet Jarl Elisif in your mud and blood-spattered daedric armour, eating six cheese wheels, hauling a dungeon's worth of loot and barging in on the existing war council meeting.
I appreciate that. Adds a sense of immersion to the world. I'm not all too intereated in TW3 but stuff like that I can really appreciate.

Any game (or sci fi, by extension) that uses real stars rather than making up a bunch of their own.
Best example is the Terminal in Alien Isolation, when you can see the departures/ arrivals board listing Sol, Alpha Ceti, Lacaille something, HD something and so forth.
In general, I absolutely adore alien isolation and, while not all big a fan of survival horror, the sheer attention to detail that has gone into building the world of Sevastopol Station keeps me coming back. Everything feels used and lived in; things are arranged in a way that seems entirely believable and you really do believe that this is a space station where people work and live. Everything from the terminals and notes and emails written by the people who live there to the work stations cluttered with pens, paper, calendars and so forth. Everything is laid out logically and the sheer amount of ways you can go about reaching the objective you really feel that you're exploring an open world rather than walking down a linear path. This is all compoundes by some of the best lighting effects I've ever seen in a game and superb attention to the traditional Alien aesthetic of gritty utalitarian design that I so love. Honestly, I could gush about Alien for days, I love the art style, the sheer attention to detail and I consider it to be one of the best looking games available right now.
It's the one true sequel to Alien, honestly.
Yeah. I can't play it for long because I'm not good with suspense and shit, but being as true as it is to Alien is why I keep coming back. If it were anything else I would have probably given up playing by now. That should speak volumes about how much I respect the developers' efforts in making the game. With how Halo Wars 2 has turned out for me (I really don't enjoy it), I'm now just sour that CA hasn't been using the past two years to make Isolation 2.

You should watch as he runs to certain death doing something you could quite easily do for some lesson about using your powers responsibly. Spoiler Seriously though that really sucks.

Seph's brutality overhaul is fantastic for increasing challenge. Most things will die in one shot to the head and human enemies are not bullet sponges. However, you are alot squishier and enemies like mutants now live up to the reputation they're given.
No Guns Allowed is also fun if you want firearms to be rare, and ammo conservation to be a priority.

The guy who invented cats eyes (the little things in the middle of roads that reflect car light to show the road ahead at night) comes from my area.
Also ed sheeran, for what it's worth.
Uh.... that's it. That's more just famous people rather than heroes as such I suppose.

Just so you all know.
Mods that are capable of breaking consoles have been made.
Just so you all are aware, stay safe in your vault.
No they haven't. They could break you fallout 4, but you can't make mods that brick the hardware.

Damnit I was hoping for a desert map.
You could probably pull off a convincing desert oasis look with this map using tan asteroid terrain, palm trees, and the right lighting/fog.
Yeah but that fucks your lighting budget if you want to do some cool stuff. Can't deny the incredible stuff that people have done for sandtrap and martian style maps though.

I'll probably post my Somerville Place (mostly done), Egret Marine (half-done), Murkwater (mostly done) and Tenpines (finished) when I get on my Xbox. I'm pretty happy with how they all turned out.
