Glowing Sea is a different story since it's directly where the nuke hit, and I think in the lore there was a nuclear reactor or two there or something.

Still, even if it's not realistic, turning off the music and going there is insanely immersive and well done.

Honestly the glowing sea makes no sense in general from a real science perspective.

If you accept Fallout SCIENCE! of some weird nuke doing that then I'm guessing you can accept Fallout 3 being similar. I mean, it's already a world where plasma weapons work and laser weapons are more efficient than bullets so I don't take stuff like DC too seriously.

I always quite liked the idea that the Capitol Wastes were just a less extreme Glowing Sea.

Tbh though I did install Green in the Commonwealth and I'd probably say you still get as much of a wasteland feeling as you would anyway. Though the draw distance ia kind of cack on Xbox so if could just be that.

Here's my survival bus. Same save as my cool Sanctuary.

I rug-glitched a generator inside the bus so it lools like the engine is powering the lights. Looks pretty cool when it's not dark.

I wish I could make threads about my fetishes that got pages of replies
you have to construct an addictive ARG where you pretend to do retarded shit like slice your dick on a girl's bra
It actually happened, cunt. At least I don't look like a creep who could be a mass-murderer.
But you do
I actually think that's you as well. Pale, very thing, narrow face, no muscles...but go ahead be jealous of me. And not to mention you want a gender change, so I'm not so sure about the stability of your mental state. The only thing that's wrong with me is not having a job currently, but I am trying my best to get an assembly/manufacturing one.
You just described the ideal facial type, lol. Not even mentioning my nose? Weak stuff. Obviously not seeking a sex change, btw, literally impossible stuff

and last I heard no one wants to hire you

big surprise lmao
I've had three jobs at least, probably more work experience than you. And I thought last time I heard you wanted to become a woman, or was that just a desire for attention?
I hope you know having a bunch of jobs when you're an adult isn't a good thing

it means no one wants you in their company, talk to me when you have a steady job lol

and wanting something immensely isn't the same thing as pursuing that thing
Talk to me when you are actually a woman lol.

Oh wait, you were born a man and can never be one no matter how many surgeries you get.

Wow, I don't know how he'll ever recover from that. You sure showed him.

My only complaint would be to walk slower and more deliberate. You're jerking the camera all over the place and just flashing over your work. Kinda an eye sore.

Yeah

The xbox dvr only allows 5 minutes of recording so I was trying to show off as much as possible

If I ever get an elgato or something ima record properly.

Is BF4 alone free?

I'd like to get back into that.

It was $5 on all platforms until yesterday

2562
EA being this generous is fucking scarin me. Even Titanfall 2's DLC is going to be free.
What are they playing at?

well winning Worst Company in the US award twice in a row probably would make you want to change your image

2563
Battlefield 4's Second Assault DLC is currently free for everyone. It has the maps Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Operation Firestorm and Gulf of Oman from Battlefield 3 updated for BF4.

did they use up the wildfire against stannis in the naval invasion? or was that new stock?

either way I doubt cersei would, losing Kings landing means they will likely lose the crown, then they're worth nothing

Aerys (The Mad King in power before Robert's Rebellion) stockpiled wildfire all around King's Landing during the war (Beneath the Red Keep, the Great Sept of Baelor, the Dragonpit and other major thoroughfares) with the intention of burning king's landing to the ground in the event of Robert's army reaching the city. This was why Jaime ended up killing the king, and all the Grand Pyromancers - to stop this happening after Pycelle had persuaded Aerys to let the Lannister host inside the city walls.

Thing is, killing all the Pyromancers saved the city that day but also meant that all the people who knew where the wildfire was were dead, and in th years since caches of the stuff have been found all over the place and kept a lot of fear about wildfire in the air.

The stuff that was used against Stannis in the War of Five Kings was comissioned by Cersei for defence of the city, then later procured by Tyrion in his actual strategy. The stuff Cersei used to burn down the Tower of the Hand (In the books) and will likely use to burn King's Landing has been hidden there for decades.

The city burning down would coincide with Daenerys' visions from S2 of walking through the Iron Throne room and seeing everything destroyed and winter setting in.

Cersei probably would use it at this point. all she cares about is her family (aka Tommen and Jaime) and both are slowly being pulled away from her. She's already shown willingness to use wildfire on the Tower of the Hand because that's where Tywin died, and she's generally showing a lot of the same signs as Aerys did before he died. She would quite readily martydom the entire realm as an act of madness at this point if she loses Cleganebowl the trial.

What you planning to play on it - like, are you intending to play BAttlefield 1 at ultramax settings or are you more going for something like Elite Dangerous in regards to how intensive it is?
Neither really. I just wanted something upper mid-range. Might as well hang with the new kid on the block, ya dig?

Will it handle both?

ED definitely. Not sure on BF1. IT'll probably handle it on decent enough settings. Though the ultra ultra settings for frostbite games generally require supercomputers to run. I'm probably not the most qualified person to ask there.

It's been strongly hinted at in the books that Cersei will burn down Kings' Landing. There's a lot of parallels between her and Aerys II Targaryen.

Here's my cool sanctuary. My controller disconnected halfway through recording so that's why it pauses briefly. It's mostly done, though I haven't detailed the houses yet. But you can see my bar, storage shed, barn, common house, farms, defences (Covering all 3 attack points), armourers, weaponsmiths and armoury. Mods used: Green in the Commonwealth, Scrap Anything, Faction Flags, Do It Yourshelf (Adds snappable junk for shelves.) and the military gear my town militia wears. Everything else is completely vanilla.

YouTube

And here's Somerville Place. Built between Far Harbour and mods release. I did record this while I had green in the commonwealth activated, but it thankfully turned out alright. Elsewise, my power wasn't working properly so a bunch of buildings that should be lit up weren't. This was done completely vanilla. Also, I hope everyone likes my not-Gun Runners shack (Weapon store with a robot vendor)

Halo 4's soundtrack was mostly shit. But the good bits are some of my favourites in the series.

Halo 5's soundtrack is one of the few things I liked about the game.

While I haven't played witcher 3, I remember hearing about a bit in the ZP review where you're going to see the king or something and you have to trim your beard, have a hair cut, dress up fancy and stuff rather than do what you do in say, Skyrim, where you go to meet Jarl Elisif in your mud and blood-spattered daedric armour, eating six cheese wheels, hauling a dungeon's worth of loot and barging in on the existing war council meeting.

I appreciate that. Adds a sense of immersion to the world. I'm not all too intereated in TW3 but stuff like that I can really appreciate.
Aren't you forced to wear the chef's clothes?

Don't know, haven't played it.

I'm just reciting what was said on zero punctuation.

Actually, something based on the above post that I do also like is in Dark Souls. I really don't care for the gameplay, but I do love how the developers take the time to make the skybox relevant. Like, if you see a tower in the distance, chances are you'll be going there at some point. That's nice and I do like that it makes the skybox relevant to getting your bearings and realising where you are in relation to everything else,  as well as noting how far you've come/ you're going.

Also in Dark Souls I do like that the way they handle the story in that everything is there for you to find. No hand holding, you have to go out of your way to find the lore and it's all open to interpretation. And also (BAsed at least off what I've heard/ read), the fact that all the heroes and legendary creatures you hear about? Chances are you'll also be killing them at some point as well.

It's a shame. I really like everything about Dark Souls in regards to its' story/ setting and the way the level design is handled, but I really don't enjoy the gameplay. The world itself is great and pretty original as far as western fantasy goes (I know its a japanese dev, but it seems more inspired by western stuff).

Tagging along with my point about alien isolation, encountering this bit made me have to stop for a second just for how amazing it looked, particularly for an Xbox One game.

When you see this with the flickering shadows and the particle effects and the electricity arcing in the background, it's really cool.

My save corrupted and it crashes whenever I try to enter and interior. Well fuck.

Time to start again and try out the Railroad this time, but fuuuuuuuck I still haven't gotten far to get to Far Harbour yet. maybe in another 3 months.

Do you not keep a spare save handy?

I'm still undecided on the issue. I live in an area that's pretty pro-leave, for the most part, so I'm leaning towards that though there's a lot of stuff saying it'd be better to stay with everything boiling down to no one knows what the fuck's gonna happen either way.

I don't really know what I'm gonna vote on thursday.
Anything you're still particularly uncertain about?

Eh. I know jack and shit about economics and politics and all that stuff and I'm not really expecting to become an expert in the next 4 days.

I guess really I'm just going to put it down to what affects me and my interests the most because of that. And I'm not entirely sure how it would affect university tuition (I'm in 2017 entry for Computer Games Design), I doubt it would affect science and technology all that much (I mean, as I understand it current standards would have to be upheld regardless if the UK would trade with EU so not much would change) and elsewise I'm not really interested in travelling all too much so the open borders thing doesn't bother me either way. And I don't really buy the "Hey we can spend £300m on the NHS if we leave,  honest!" crap or the "IF we leave = NO immigration at all!" stuff, but I also don't buy any of the fearmongering of people saying the world will end and world war 3 will start if we do leave, either.

So yeah, not entirely sure. I'm not too sure that leaving or staying would affect me on a personal level and I'm not fluent enough in stuff to make an educated decision on the matter from that perspective.
