Oh I stopped playing Oblivion because of the god awful character faces. Waaaay too distracting.
Morrowind was fine because of when it came out, but Oblivion just looked like shit.

I care about graphics. But then, that's the field I want to go into so it's something I'm interested in.
Though the main reason I play Alien Isolation is because of how fucking fantastic-looking the game is. I don't like horror games, but the sheer fidelity of the textures, animations and the attention to detail and obvious care taken by the developers to make the game feel part of the Alien universe ( being an art style I absolutely adore) is what keeps me coming back. The amazing space stuff you see in Elite Dangerous (albeit combined with the scientific accuracy of the stellar bodies and physics) is like half the reason I play that game too.
I've never made graphics stop me from playing, but a game looking good can make me keep playing even if the gameplay isn't all that great.

Project Orion. Fuck the nuclear test ban treaty, it's a goddamn spaceship powered by exploding nuclear bombs. That's fucking cool. You linked the mobile site, ya dip.
It's almost as if I'm on my phone.

LOL
Britain is a shithole with no opportunities. Who the hell would go through all that trouble.
It may be a shithole with no opportunities, but it's our shithole with no opportunities.

So have HG actually said anything since release or have they just been silent?
they've talked a ton about fixing bugs on steam/Twitter ect but nothing about the games actual quality or content
Huh I wonder how them and sony have been taking it behind the scenes.

You used to think I was skinny
What made you think that? I mean I've never exactly made myself out as the skinny type. I think.

World War Z. Fantastic book. I love the style of being interviews with survivors, you can just hop in anywhere and pick it up.
I've also read the Fall of Reach trilogy a fair few times, too. Well, I've also read Ghosts of Onyx and Contact Harvest a lot, too.
In general, though, I don't tend to reread books. I prefer to read new ones.

I'd say the Japs. The nazis took prisoners and if you surrendered you would at least be given food and shelter. The japanese were fucking mental. Plus kamikazes and shit.

What about if I use mods to increase the difficulty?
Didn't you read? Standard difficulty only, unless unavailable.

Anyway someone posted this on the Elite subreddit and I think it's pretty cool. May as well post it here, doesn't seem like it needs its own thread. Warning: Massive resolution image

this game could have been much more if it followed simple astronomy and physics
how would that fix a lack of content and/or cut content?
It would add stuff.
Stars of varying classifications Black Holes Neutron stars Gas Giants and ring systems Asteroid Belts (Dunno if these are in the game anyway. I'm erring on the side of they aren't but correct me if they are)
And finding a planet with life would actually hold some weight to it. Out of all the airless dustballs out there and you finding one with life? That's something special.
There are different types of stars and black holes. The higher class stars have the better planets and usually aren't on your straightforward path. Black Holes just throw you many many many more light years closer to the center instead of going system to system.
Yeah but aren't the stars just painted on the skybox? Like, you can't actually go to them? With black holes, can you actually go an see the light refraction and accretion disc and actual void past the event horizon? Are the stars in the skybox calculated as to where they would be based on their actual locations, intensity and such? Serious questions.

After Titanfall being disappointing (Written before the second tech test), I'm hoping Battlefield is good. I don't want the only game I get this year to be a remaster.

Food is better cooked as it gives more HP, no radiation, some additional buffs (read item decscriptions) and, if on survival, rawmeat may give you parasites.
If you can, always make the Refreshing Beverage. Rads-5000 and health+100 or something utterly ridiculous. They're OP as shit.

Untrue. I run into a base with a Super Sledge. It's much more fun to bludgeon everything to death than ping people with a rifle.
is the shishkebab back
Spoiler Yeah, it's back, but there's only one though.
Spoiler actually you can get them as random legendary drops from enemies. I've had them with the effect of doing more damage when addicted to drugs. They're just rare.

build PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
How innocent he is.
Well yeah, I know it won't stay that way but I do prefer stealth + normal weapons and melee. It's how I played New Vegas too. I guess playstyle is a better word than build?
There are no builds or playstyles in fallout 4
It all eventually devolves into just running into a base with a combat rifle or a laser rifle.
That sounds moderately disappointing.
well you can deliberately limit yourself to make it more interesting, but yeah if you're just using whatever is best then that is unfortunately the case
Yeah but that's you setting artificial restrictions. In FO3 or NV, switching from guns to melee means you're not going to be as effective because you haven't put as many skill points into the latter. In Fallout 4, you can go from a gunslinger to a sledgehammer no problem. It ends up being a game about doing things the most efficient way.
