Does this mean we get a CGI meme in episode IX?
You mean VIII? Unless they filmed that already
With VIII coming out 2017, filming will likely be near done if not already done. They'll be in editing/ post processing and stuff now.

Project Rho is pretty essential if you want to make your spacecraft at least seem realistic (Even if it's just smaller details of life on a spacecraft or ideas for colonies without doing the actual maths).

Caring about the shittiest Jedi ever next to fucking Ahsoka.
I hope those Clones that killed Aayla Secura got raped by Droidekas But Ahsoka got pretty cool in the later seasons of TCW/ Rebels

Operation Knightfall is still one of my favourite scenes in the series.

Fuck you the 327th Star Corps are best troopers. Easily the best design of armour out of all of them.

Honestly all of my problems with Jedi could be solved if the Ewoks were Wookies or something.

At least Republic Commando is indirectly canon because of Delta Squad being in The Clone Wars.
Lmao no it isn't.
Delta Squad is canon, the events of Republic Commando are not.
Let me just have this one thing

They might as well recanonise the KOTOR games at this point considering they keep referencing things from them.
Also because they're the best pieces of SW media.
You know they'll just give them the Battlefront treatment if/ when they reboot the series, including trying to make everyone forget about the old ones.

I thought it was cool at first but now I just got bored of it. I feel like I've done everything there is to do and it doesn't feel fun enough to go back and do it again like the previous games.
Kinda wish they'd have just gone to 2142 or WW2.
are the kind of person who tries to get all the dog tags?
i am, ever since bf4 i've tried to master every single weapon. adds to replayability, i guess
Part of the longevity for me was going through and unlocking all camos/ weapon attachments yeah. Plus it just felt more fun in general.

Alright, well I just saw it and fucking loved every second of it. While I'll need to seeit again to be sure, this could possibly be my favourite SW film. I loved that it was more a military/ war film in the Star Wars universe than a jedi/ sith film.
I loved a lot of the fanservice elements like the Royal Guard, Red/ Gold Leaders, Red-5, Saw, the Rebels references and the Clone Juggernaught Tank (the thing Jyn is being transported in at the beginning). 3PO and R2 made me cringe a bit, and I think all the characters bar Jyn, Capn' and K2 could have had a bit more fleshing out before their demises, and I wish some of them survived so we could see them again in future media.
Overall, I'd say:
RO>ROTS>Empire>ANH>Phantom Menace/ ROTJ>Clones (Honestly, I like AOTC and it would be further up but anakin/padme stuff just brought it down).
Edit: oh yeah TFA existed. Put that about phantom menace/ ROTJ.

PS2.
I had a PS1 at one point but I got rid of it ages ago and have never had any interest in older Nintendo/ Sega stuff.

Usually just type notes on my laptop or phone.

Having finished the campaign, here are my thoughts. From a perspective of a guy who knows the lore well. Major spoilers below.
Spoiler Overall, pretty satisfying. I can see a lot of stuff that will confuse your average fan, but that wasn't a problem for me. Nonetheless, they ought to cover topics like the Mantle more in-depth in the game - a Mass Effect style codex for the major topixs would be welcome.
As for the story itself, certainly a mixed bag. Overall, the plot is a cohesive nareative that makes sense, and there are certainly no characters I dislike bar one (I'll explain in a minute). In particular,Exuberant (The new monitor) and the Warden are very much characters I enjoyed interacting with, their dialogue and voice acting is top notch.
The only major complaint I really have is the reincarnation of cortana. Whilst I certainly enjoyed having her as the antagonist rather than the protagonist (Which was certainly refreshing and unexpected), I dislike the conxept of her return. I was wholeheartedly wanting and expecting her to be the domain using her image to get to John, but nope. Either way, I'm impressed with the route they took regarding her and while it's not how I would have done it, I'm certainly not majorly opposed to it. With a lot of recent media focusing on AI (Such as Saint's Testimony), it's a logical direction to take. And it ties well into the central themes of the Reclaimer Saga.
However, there are some things I'm not too thrilled about, though only the first is anything major.
-Jul being killed off as he was is honestly a waste of a pretty good character. Having seen his character through Glasslands,Thursday War, Spartan Ops and Escalation, it annoys me how he's just sort of killed at the start of the game and that's it. -Cortana's appearance. Ew. -Thel deserved more screen time -The abrupt ending cliffhanger. This is worse than Halo 2's ending, quite frankly. While I'm not doubting it's effect on the plot, it's just a dick move to make us wait until 2018, presuming a three year dev cycle -the ending is really anticlimactic. It's not like, say Halo 4 where you have a clear 'final battle' kind of feel. You just sort of kill some stuff as normal in the last mission before the final cutscene begins. Very underwhelming. There are a lot of things I enjoyed about the campaign, but I'm too lazy to write them here. So despite only talking about the negatives, tbis easily goes into my top 3 stories of the series. Right next to Halos 4 and ODST
What the fuck Was I autistic in 2015?

People don't buy physical copies what
i rarely buy physical copies on the PC or Boner because i have no need to due to their online marketplaces actually being pretty good
on the playstation physical copies are the only way to go because the online service is abysmal
I can't stand not having a game in my hands It's like I don't even have it
It's a new thing for console users, but the PC platform has been (almost) digital only for so long now that I don't even think twice about not having a physical copy anymore. I actually prefer it to be digital now just because it's much more convenient to not have vidya taking up room on the shelf and having to dig out the disk every time i want to play something different.
Even then, I just think of people saying this, and them probably not spending anything on music since it's a digital market now. Games are easily going to be like that within a decades time.
And yeah, not digging around is great, and I still feel like I own it. I never subscribed to the "I don't FEEL like I own it unless I hold it" feeling people seem to still hold. I only argue that point if it's a special edition, or a collectors thing or something with a cool case.
What if I still buy CDs and DVDs? Am I still allowed to complain about digital shit?

Kinda want to buy it because IW's campaign looks cool and pretty much exactly the kind of scifi I love, and I never played much MW (Never really played the CoD games).
Just gonna wait until it goes cheap though - is MW a DL code or can I get it preowned and have it?

Hard to believe that some people haven't played GTA. Nearly everyone I knew growing up had played at least one GTA game, even the people that weren't into games.
I never played a GTA game up until I bought V last year. Even then, that was just becauseI'd only just got my XB1 and it was one of the few games all of my friends had so we could actually play together.
