Also, what are merits? I thougtht they were some kind of challenges as in CoD, but they seem to just be exp?
You get merits for completing your three match goals (Winning, Finishing/ not quitting and good performance), evacuating, destroying the dropship (only the guy who gets the killing blow) and levelling up your titans/ weapons/ factions. X merits are required to level up and you get 5 credits per merit.

Just beat the campaign. Good stuff. Probably going to try out MP in a bit.
Use the grappling hook, I can not stress this enough.

I'm sensing a bit of a disagreement on what the best picks for classes are.
The grappling hook is just a crutch for people who can't wallrun. The situations where it is useful that couldn't just be accomplished by getting gud are minimal. Stim will let you move faster and regen health quicker while phase shift will give you a get out of jail free card (two, in fact) if you get surprised. Pulse blade lets you see through walls, A-Wall makes you a stationary target and a juicy one for people with E-Smoke. Camo got nerfed and you shouldn't bother with it. As for weapons, the CAR and Alternator are good for hip fire while the Volt is decent for more ADS. On console, Hemlok is downright overpowered and the EVA shotgun is well worth a use, particularly in hardpoint. You can't really go wrong with grenade choice. Firestar, Grav Star, Frags, Arcs, Electric Smoke are all viable.

With what we got as Fallout 4 Bethesda is probs going to give us the same formula for the next ES. Which is sad of course.
Nah, they've openly admitted to some faults with FO4, like the voice acting.
while its a step in the right direction fixing the shitty dialogue options doesnt fix the rest of the game
id like to hear more of what theyve admitted to instead of pretty much handing the reigns to their playerbase to mod a playable experience out of it
as much as i like mods for fixing the small stuff fallout 4 really phoned it in for the base rpg aspect
They also said how the all combat missions thing wasn't intentional and more a result of bad communication between the teams making the game.

Well I can do Legion. But the Stryder titans I'm horrendous with because I don't like "poking"/ not being able to tank, I just don't find Ion very effective and Tone is just bland. Scorch can tank and just deals fuck tons of damage if his attacks are properly co ordinated.

Came across this series, basically a guy talking about how he would have rewritten Skyrim - the worldbuilding, main quest, Dragonborn, Dawnguard, Civil War etc. It's long winded but it's well worth a watch if you want something to listen to.

I dunno. I've used the Alt a couple times and heavily enjoyed using it. I'm switching to it as my main once I've got these last few camos for the CAR.
I got it to level eight, I prefer the car. The energy one is pretty fire tho.
I've not been too impressed with the Volt, though I haven't spent much time with it. However, I've been having a lot of fun dicking around with the Sidewinder.

Honestly the more I think about H4 the less I like it's campaign.
I mean the level design was ass anyway but every time I think about the Forerunners, Prometheans, new UNSC and new Covenant the less I like it.

What's wrong with scifi? I mean, you've got bottom tier crap like Independance Day 2 and shit but I don't see how that invalidates such a wide-spanning genre. I'm curious as to what it is about it you dislike. I remember you saying something similar when I recommended Arrival.
