This happened pretty close to where I live. Apparently the guy was a pretty well known dealer and had gotten off a murder charge before, and was generally known for boasting about his criminal activities.

Eh. Scumbag gets what he deserves. Knowing what it's like in Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford and Halifax, I can't say I'm particularly sympathetic.

They can make laser guns but they can't find out where Lemon is

lemon killed himself when he realised his shilling powers were not even enough to make halo 5 look good

The UK Ministry of Defence has officially awarded a £30m contract to produce a prototype laser weapon.
The aim is to see whether "directed energy" technology could benefit the armed forces, and is to culminate in a demonstration of the system in 2019.
The contract was picked up by a consortium of European defence firms.
The prototype will be assessed on how it picks up and tracks targets at different distances and in varied weather conditions over land and water.
Peter Cooper, from the UK's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), headquartered at Porton Down, said the project "draws on innovative research into high power lasers so as to understand the potential of the technology".
He added that this could "provide a more effective response to the emerging threats that could be faced by UK armed forces".
The MoD has been finalising the agreement with the consortium, called UK Dragonfire, for several months, but it has now formally announced them as the winning contractor.
'Ahead of the curve'
A spokesperson for the MoD told BBC News that the demonstrator was not being developed to counter any specific threat, but to assess whether such weaponry could be delivered as a capability for the armed forces.
But in general, directed energy weapons could potentially be used to destroy drone aircraft, missiles, mortars, roadside bombs and a host of other threats.
The US military has been experimenting with high energy lasers for decades. But, until recently, technical hurdles had prevented them from being used on the frontline.
However, the US Navy fielded a laser weapon system called Laws for testing on the USS Ponce during a deployment to the Arabian Gulf starting in 2014.
It hit targets aboard a small boat which was directed to speed towards the navy ship and also shot a small drone out of the sky.
The Minister for Defence Procurement, Harriet Baldwin, said that "truly ground-breaking projects like the Laser Directed Energy Weapon" would "keep this country ahead of the curve".
If the demonstration is successful, the first laser weapons could come into service in the mid-2020s.
The UK Dragonfire consortium comprises the companies MBDA, Qinetiq, Leonardo-Finmeccanica GKN, Arke, BAE Systems and Marshall ADG.

You'll get people that will preach it's perfect no matter what. And the pre-release hype would be a nightmare.

tbh I think HL3 coming out and being on the tier of No Man's Sky would be a lot more humbling

Yeah but it would be worth it after it releases and it can barely launch, the level design and SFX are crap and the story makes Halo 5 look good.

I mean, I like the Half-Life games and I want to find out what happens after HL2E2 but goddamn the game coming out and being barely worthy of being called a game would be worth it just to see the reaction on the LEL HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED XD people's faces.

They're in need of a good humbling and having their wet dream of a video game be silently canceled will put them in their place.

Man, it's such a shame that Battlefront 3 was cancelled and we haven't had a SWBF since 2005. I'd really love if DICE were able to make a battlefront game, the originals were just Battlefield with a Star Wars skin so the series getting that treatment by the people who made Battlefield would be a dream come true! A shame that we'll likely not get another Battlefront game. At least we have 1313 to look forward to...

It's SO fucking easy to just not drink.

And 10x more fun, because you get to grandstand about it.

Really? 'Cause most of the time I think straight edge people who love to boast are losers, and have mommy/daddy issues.

Now that's just not fair, I don't have family issues

In fact, especially if you haven't realized it yet.

« on: December 31, 2016, 03:03:20 PM »
I always found having multiple monitors for 3D work is useful. One full screen for the model itself, another for the settings. Same for web development. Having a screen for the design view and a screen for the code view is a lot easier to work with as you can see your stuff update in real time.

Do you think we'll get an equivalent document or something that basically does the same thing? Would the next government (Assuming we vote in a new one next election) be able to overturn/ reverse this?

Also people who complain about time to kill and titan rodeos don't know how to play the game

Fact

Nigger I was playing Titanfall before you knew what a pilot looked like. GTFO of here with your 201-C shit. Back in my day it was the 101-c and it had 40 rounds and no recoil and it was still not annoying as half the shit in TF2. Our Hemlock killed in two bursts and we made due.

Actually it's the R201-SOAR.

I like Azkaban and Goblet the best out of the series. You should give the books a read, too, at some point. The films are pretty good adaptations, but there's just more stuff in the books.

Fantastic beasts was shit.

i plan on reading the books asap and i want to go see the movie with my sister soon

I hope you enjoy FBAWTFT. I wasn't too keen on it, nowhere near as good as the main series.

But yeah the books are pretty good. Might have to read them again after I finish Metro, Dune and Alien Anthology #1. It's been a few years since I last read them.
