Speaking of projections... http://www.futuretimeline.net/
Interesting site there. Nice to read through IMO.
That's pretty cool, though it seems to be a bit more taken with cool than scientific realism. Particularly where it mentiond humans being a Kardashev I civilisation by the 23rd century, and colonies will be rolling on Mercury across the equator to stay in the Terminator Zone (there's a bunch of reasons why this is more effort than it's worth)
Let's just put islam on mercury instead.
Mercury's far too useful. Lets just dump them on a shithole like Venus.

The only complaints I ever see about the first two are they're a bit cheesy and black leather suits.
X3 was kinda crap though, and only beaten out by Origins.

so i heard they made the characters ugly on purpose?
The dev team is one basically made of interns, tumblr/ SJW-types, diversity hiring and off-the-street programmers who've never shipped a game before - all the talent is either on other projects/ teams or left the studio. Plus, the past couple BioWare games have been known for including gay/ trans characters who serve no real plot purpose other than to be gay/ trans, and that's the extent of the character's depth. So I can't say I'm surprised when I hear that they purposely made the people look stupid to stop having characters like Miranda or ME3 Ashley, though I'm not sure how true it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it's equal parts that and equal parts genuine incompetence. As for the general thread: 2017 MULTI MILLION DOLLAR BUDGET TRIPLE A GAME

I license transfer games with my friend and he got the EA access trial.
Should I download? It started overnight so I'm like 5GB in and would be able to do it before the 21st but I honestly couldn't care less about the game.
do it for the multiplayer
no one is seriously considering this game for the campaign, right?
I never cared about ME3's multiplayer. It was alright, but not really my thing. Cool space "RPG" is why I'm interested in ME.

Whatever happened to the Yanme'es?
They got out before 343 could ruin them as well.

I still don't particularly care for the First Order's stormtroops -I'd much prefer them go back to separate goggles and mouthpieces.
But yeah, these look better. So that's cool.

People are silly if they think R-rated capeshit films are the future just because of movies like Logan and Deadpool.
These two movies are R-rated because it works with their character. What the hell does Spider-Man do that's R-worthy?
Idk that rape scene in spiderman 3 was a little much idk how Raimi got away with it
The bit where venom gives spiderman a wedgie I thought was a little too far for a kids film

The DOFP timeline change also meant that the Origins Weapon X program got replaced with the Apocalypse Weapon X program, but the adventures Wolverine and Sabertooth had in their wars are still a thing.

Movie was so brutal. Enjoyed it though.
Spoiler Hate that Charles and Logan died though. Also. Rice explained they stopped the mutations occurring so no more people would be born with mutant powers but what happened to all the other mutants? Storm, Cyclops, etc... Wolverine stopped the Sentinels in Days of Future Past, but shit. This new timeline he created isn't much better. The entire population wasn't killed since the sentinels are gone, but most mutants are gone now. So it really didn't work out any better for them lol. DOFP erased everything after the 70's. This makes Apocalypse canon (80's), and elements of the main films (Logan cage fighting in canada, fight at the statue of Liberty are mentioned) canon, as well as Wolverine and the XMen having adventures that are later adapted to comics in-universe. Spoiler DOFP and thus the bit at the end where everyone is alive is set in 2023, six years before Logan. If TransiGen stopped mutant births around the early 2000's, then that means the final 'generation' of mutants is in school around '23. Xavier killed all/ most of the mutants in a seizure in 2028, leading to him, Wolverine and Calaban going to Mexico to hide. It worked out better in the sense that everyone is still alive.

It's a decent game but for some reason I don't feel drawn to playing like I do BF4
I think it's the lack of variety in weapons, vehicles and maps. It leads to everything becoming a bullet and grenade-spam clusterfuck and the 1HK on snipers means they're pretty easy to use effectively now. And because all the maps are muddy open areas with little cover, there's no escape.

Like fucking really, why does this shit ALWAYS come from Sony fans specifically?
If I had to guess, 3 years of Sony "winning" the console wars means that sony fanboys are scared of any threat to their console, which by and large only did as well not on its own merit but because of how utterly shit the Xbox One was at launch. Plus what Xbox fans are there? Most of them are now either on PS4 or on PC.

Why is this in Serious?
Why shouldn't it be?
Cause Star Wars is shit, duh.
Star Wars is shit, but this is to do with (once again) the idiocy of universities.
I look forward to watching the same 4 members beat the dead horse into submission then.
That's just serious in a nutshell though.
1. Copypasted title from article/video 2. Embed/paste 3. Really makes you think 4. Memes 5. Dead end argument about a pointless topic 6. Rinse and Repeat
wtf i hate serious now

I guess Director Krennic was pretty entertaining when he threw a fucking tantrum and went to Darth Vader to complain about it lol
I read the Catalyst prequel novel (really good btw, recommend it), so that definitely influences my thoughts, but I think Krennic is a very interesting character. He's interesting because he's intelligent, cunning, and competent, but to a point.
His reckless disregard for the chain of command, and his other flaws are what make him interesting.
Having only seen the film, to me Krennic is just a lameo incompetent whiner who gets a bunch of his potential screen time stolen by should-be-cameo villains Tarkin and Vader
Perhaps I should have worded my post differently. He's not necessarily incompetent at what he's good at doing, but he has an overinflated sense of importance, and thinks he's more competent than he really is as it applies to things outside of his talents. I wasn't implying he's amazingly competent or anything.
Here's a good example. Krennic is good at manipulating people, especially on a personal level. An excellent example of this is Galen Erso. However, just because he can manipulate less powerful people and easily manipulated people he knows doesn't mean he can manipulate Tarkin.
Krennic thinks he could though.
I love how he thinks he's equivalent to Tarkin but Tarkin just thinks he's an overconfident shit.
Yeah. Have you read catalyst too?
No, but I do keep up with new star wars stuff so I know the basics of it. I'm planning on picking it and Tarkin up at some point.
