I think you mean DLC areas that are locked behind a paywall.

Thanks, activision.

Oh, and here are the ones I'm doing. I'll record this saturday;

2 Second Delay
Kill behemoths using unamarmed
Machetes to kill all mutants and ghoul settlements
Head to Vault 112 from Vault 101 without using anything but the gear in your room when you wake up (FO3)
Kill a Dethaclaw, Very Hard Hardcore and no buying weapons/ ammo/ meds
Pistols Only (I'm going to clear The Fort as this one wasn't as clear, so kill Caesar and his guard with Pistols only)

Should make one or two 20 minutes long episodes :3

Could you flip your TV?

Complete Fallout upside down. You're allowed to invert the controls too if that makes it more interesting.

No. It's fixed to a wall bracket. Otherwise, you bet your ass I'd be doing that. I may use the setting on my capture card that has a 2 second delay to make things interesting though.

I didn't understand any of that.

10508
Apart from pictures, I don't care.

An that's because I hate having my picture taken.

Why is that

I don't k ow, I just despise having a picture taken. In my house, there are not any pictures of me, and I remove any I'm tagged in on Facebook.

There's a nifty shop mod that I was half-considering installing that would be an excellent motivator (you'd earn "credits" to buy nameplates with).

The problem with this is that it would most probably cause lots of shitposts with no discussion value.

I'd go with this. We don't need more threads, just more actual people replying. Some get hundreds and others get like, 5.

10512
That's because you fap to anything that's SciFi.

u w0t m'führer ill ook u in' conkers

But yeah, anything scifi. Especially that that's set close to modern day and look kind of plausible.

I have a capture card so I am record any Xbox 360 game nights we do on something. Likewise for Machinima, though I can't do any other console (I'm working on PS2 to record but eh)

If we ever get some content creation that takes off (YouTube vids, more recent game reviews, etc.) we could stay strong for a good long while.

Also, as long as Bungie.net sucks we should be reasonably fine.
Hmm...I don't like the idea that we ride off of Bungie. I think we should stick with them for a bit, absorb the better members and just become an independent gaming site.
Well yeah...that'd be great. The problem is actually doing it.

I can manage the site and troubleshoot the forum errors like a boss, and I'd like to think I'm a decent community manager, but we're going to need some extra hands if we want this place to keep getting awesome.

The YouTube thing for one. I hate making videos. I'm more the photoshop/illustrator type. We should start putting together some kind of video something to draw interest to the site.

Our reviews that we have are awesome and I can see that growing.

I can't really think of anything else we need to branch out to, but I'm sure there are other places and things to do to bring in traffic.
Heck yes, let's do it. Go on a recruiting spree! Go to your college class and find some trusted fellows who know their way around a computer. I could make that video/be the youtube guy. I would then send the videos to a more capable member to edit it and make it more pretty. L
Hm..Let's get an AD in gameinformer. I'd be willing to chip in to the cost.
I think we have a YouTube channel that someone made, but we need someone that can edit video, yeah.

I mean...I have a degree in graphic design, so I could do it, but I'd rather pull teeth than deal with video editing software (also not a fan of flash for this reason).

T-shirts were also a thing I was turning around in my mind, and that is something that would be awesome if we ever decide to go out into the real world to an event of some kind (or just wear it to Walmart or something; whatever).

Why not a Machinima on Halo? I'm very good friends with the owner of Machinima Union and we could either get him to help or even help with the Halo Archive's Machinima stuff once the scripting finishes.

Also, should we make a new thread for this?

Machinima Union? Ha, good luck working with those guys. I've worked with them over the past couple years in various things. They're incompetent.

No, but they still have a few thousand users. If I asked, if probably be able to get Sep7agon machinimas featured.

Plus, I forge every fucking map and am currently helping the story of a big project there so I have some weight there.

Most of the petty squabbles have been sorted out now, though. The only annoying thing is that everyone wants people to help their sessions but never wants to help anyone else.

Science fiction and space travel.

Anything to do with fantasy and scifi lore I get heavily invested in.

PvP is the worst PoS I have ever played.

Anyway, the only redeemable things were the grimoire/ lore and soundtrack. Everything else was either meh or fracking terrible.
Git gud

I consider halo 3 multiplayer to be be-

No. No.

I consider Call of Duty fucking ghosts multiplayer to be better than lolcrucible.

The Flood / Re: How many books do you own?

Too many to count. Most of ten novels with a few science abd history reference books I bought out of interest.

10521
Still waiting on Treyarch's CoD.

2015 will be a good year for games.

Star Wars Battlefront and Halo 5 will likely be my only purchases games-wise next year.

10522
Don't get me wrong, I know that everything we see is more than likely just pre-rendered cutscenes or scripted events in the campaign, but I think it looks kind of interesting nonetheless.

However, I'm not spending money on an 8 hour campaign because I wouldn't play the multiplayer.

10526
The Grimoire deals with concepts advanced enough to eclipse the majority of Halo's lore.

Though the actual game struggles to combat your average episode of the Teletubbies.

I reman convinced the people who wrote the grimoire and those who wrote the MQ were not the same people, but were in fact locked in separate rooms and never allowed to come into contact with each other.

I've been thinking about doing a new Fallout 3 or NV playthrough. The only problem is tht I have 100%ed both games and I have nothing left to do.

Anyway, I have a capture card, and all the DLC for both games (Alongside Skyim and Oblivion hinthint) and was hoping you guys can come up with some cool challenges to try. I will record them and upload them to YouTube.

Anyway, I'm on 360 so anything you suggest can't use mods, but the DLC is fine. Bear in mind I'm starting a game from level 1 so I won't be soloing the Deathclaw Promomotry on very hard hardcore >.>

I await the challenges.

Edit- I mean more specific tasks that can be completed, like an achievement. I don't want to do an entire playthrough for multiple playstyles, so think of specific things.

I'll just leave this here.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcf_97ErJ2BMhGd_OjYaMLQ

Also, I've been learning how to edit videos, as I've been trying to start my own channel, just throwing that out there.

Awesome, I think this needs to actually become a thing, the more we distance ourselves from Bungie and the more we become our own thing the better, still keeping the name "The Flood" obviously, after all neither Bungie or Microsoft own the word "Flood" or "Septagon" and neither company uses it for their communities offtopic boards.
Now all we need is to decide a few things, people who can edit videos, people who can record videos, and those willing to create content on a fairly regular basis.

I can record. Everyone keeps saying they need people with a cap are and no one has actually seemed to read any of my comments saying I have one.

Funny.
Spoiler
Schizoid

A defect in your ability to form social relationships and an under-responsiveness to all sorts of stimuli. You exhibit an intrinsic emotional "flatness" where the highs don't get too high and the lows don't get too low. Emotions like joy, anger, and sadness do not move you as much as they move other people. Your natural state appears to be one where you have "retired" a bit into yourself, which is one source of the calmness that characterizes your normal state. Unlike what might be expected, your passivity and lack of vitality is not a form of self-protection, but simply seems to be your natural state.

*High fives*

Go us, we're awesome.
