http://www.geek.com/games/infamous-canceled-star-wars-1313-may-not-be-dead-after-all-1641910/A long time ago in Los Angeles (which is not so far, far away), the world was shown its first glimpse of Star Wars 1313. This was back in 2012, when we were getting our first real taste of what “next-gen” gaming would be about, and this one was of the titles that got people (including myself) insanely excited. But alas, there was a great disturbance in the Force. A million voices cried out in terror when it was announced just a year later that Star Wars 1313 would be cancelled, or at least put frozen in carbonite, after Disney bought out Lucasfilm and either cancelled or suspended any of the then in-development projects, including Star Wars 1313. However, it seems that all hope is not lost and we may yet see the return of this now legendary title. In an interview with SlashFilm, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said that they are looking to “explore” some of these old Lucasfilm ideas, including 1313 and the Star Wars live-action series. “We don’t want to throw any of that stuff away,” said Kennedy to Slashfilm. “It’s gold. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to.”
While this isn’t a full-on confirmation that we’re getting the same 1313 shown in 2012, it does at least give us the sense that we could see something similar to it in the future. Currently, EA has the licensing rights to produce Star Wars video games, so if anyone would be able to resurrect this IP, it’d be them. People love the recently released Star Wars Battlefront, and are excited for the upcoming Star Wars game which will be overseen by former former Uncharted director-writer Amy Hennig. Adding Star Wars 1313 to that list would be a no-brainer. As a guy who salivated over the Star Wars 1313 trailers and concept art, I’m very excited over the prospect of getting this game in one form or another. I’m not expecting a complete replica of the original project since it will most likely use EA’s Frostbite Engine and not the proprietary one created for the original 1313. Not to mention that most of the original development staff may not even be involved in this project. However, the prospect of playing a Star Wars game set in the seediest parts of Coruscant where I get to play as a bounty hunter who has to rely on weapons and gadgets instead of Force powers is something that is irresistible. TL;DR lucasfilm president mentioned 1313 as a project they're still looking at ideas like 1313 and discussing using them and developing them further I really hope this turns into something. I was looking forward to this game, and I'm hoping we get to see something come of it again.

Just finished the seventh (Or fifth, depending on your perspective) A Song of Ice and Fire novel, thus ending a series that took me the better part of a year to read (until Winds of Winter comes out). Overall, I really enjoyed the series, it's probably my favourite book series (But I haven't read that many series', mostly individual books) right now.
Any recommendations for books to read now?

Aside from Ratchet and Clank and Last of Us, what other (Single-player, I'm not paying for two online subscriptions) games are there worth getting on PS4? Thinking about getting Uncharted Collection for it, the new R&C and TLoU for it. Anything else anyone recommends for it?
I already have an XB1, so I'm not getting any multiplayer titles for it. Just single-player stuff, there's a couple of things I've missed out on.
Oh yeah, I might get Killzone Shadowfall; does it require knowledge of the previous games to play?

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibilityIt's mostly XBLA crap that gets put on GWG, but there's a couple of interesting ones there; Halo: Reach Halo Wars CoD: Black Ops I Bioshock I, II and Infinite Skate 3 Gears of War 3 Just Cause II Borderlands Fallout 3 Mass Effect Assasin's Creed II
The rest of it is pretty much stuff no one's ever heard of. Disappointed there's no New Vegas or Skyrim in there.

And username, why not?
Getting bored of having Spartan Vale (Best spartan) as my profile and the picture of the Ark/ Array as my nameplate.
So. I'm going to be really cliche and generic and decide based on who makes me laugh first gets to choose my stuff. I'll keep it for a month, unless I actually like it.

Figured I'd post this here in case there's people who don't follow the big Halo 5 thread. 343 Industries recently updated their website to introduce a feature called Spartan Companies. Basically the same as GTA Crews or Battlefield Platoons. So yeah, Sep7agon Company

Like, a shooter. It seems odd with the recent trend of sci fi shooters (CoD, Star Wars, Titanfall and so forth) that we haven't got a Terminator game.
Who wants a Terminator game?

And is it worth spending a day downloading? It was free on xbl last month so I got it on my account but didn't download. Is it worth downloading to play in the week until H5 releases or should I not really bother (I have no interest in the new one coming out)

Still a superb film. My only complaint was that after watching in 3D at the cinema, watching in 2D on DVD felt a bit underwhelming.
But still a 10/10 would recommend film

I decided to make something cool with the H2A forge. It's not as detailed as I wanted it to be (I've done a bunch of corridors inside) but I ran out of budget before I could get properly going with it.

As a europoor, I don't get to use guns. So when I'm dsigning the ones in use for my writing, I have no idea if they're practical or not. So I'd like some help. This is a very rough 5 minute job in paint to show the reloadig system of the main rifle that is in use. It's also whyit looks like a famas. Kind of like a bullpup, but it reloads from the top like an M1 Garand (Because I love that reload system, it looks cool). Although it's using a 12.7mm round, it is in use by guys in power armour who can easily use this kind of power (Regular humans don't get these), and the massive round is designed to fight guys in heavy armour. Oh yeah, the magazine only holds ten rounds and cools in between reloads. Is this any kind of practical?
